And the prize for not being George Bush is…

I crashed on the couch last night because the Sox game was on the west coast. When I woke up this morning and signed in AIM the headline was that President Obama had won the Nobel Peace Prize.

Being a normal and sane man I assumed I was still groggy or maybe still asleep and then turned on the TV.

Apparently not being George Bush counts for a lot. From what I’ve seen on Morning Joe even the White House seems a bit embarrassed.

I was always under the impression that you actually had to DO something to win the prize.

That makes three four US presidents. Teddy Rossevelt for his mediation in the Russian Japan war. Woodrow Wilson for the League of Nations, Jimmy Carter for Camp David and President Obama for… for… not being George Bush.

I guess we should be watching for international youtube videos of kids singing now.

I can’t think of anything that can illustrate the bankruptcy of the prize than this award. I’ve gotta run my kid to school but I’ll do some blog round up later.

Update: Forgot about Wilson. I still haven’t checked any other blogs but I can’t wait to do that.

Update 2: I must say this IS deserved. No US president since the Bush administration has not been more not George Bush than Barack Obama.

And Our Bikini Pictures results (no it’s not about Hannah Giles)

You might recall this post that I made in a silly mood last week:

Are people more interested in Mika Brzezinski bikini pics, or Joe Scarborough Speedo pics? Can either compare with the public’s need for Willie Geist Speedo pics or even to International Superstar Erin Burnett Bikini Pics? Will Savannah Guthrie Bikini pics rule the roost or will they all be helpless against the juggernaut of Mike Barnicle Speedo pics fans? (Hey the guy has 6 kids he must be doing SOMETHING right).

Ok a week is up lets look at the numbers:

There was not a single hit for my blog for any search for Joe Scarborough, Mike Barnicle, Willie Geist, or surprisingly Erin Burnett, in a Bikini or a speedo.

There was a single hit or someone looking for hot pics of Savannah Guthrie. Although that is better than everyone else I just listed I also had one hit for “Rush Limbaugh Bikini” which is a very scary thing.

But the winner was Mika with a total of 6 hits for people looking for Mika Brzezinski bikini pictures.

To put this in perspective during the same period the blog had 41 hits for people looking for Hannah Giles bikini pictures or Hannah giles hot pics and etc.

Hannah giles is young enough to be Mika’s daughter and her fame comes from an undercover film posing as a hooker. for Mika to have 1/7th of her hits is no disgrace and in my opinion establishes a basic truth:

Mika Brzezinski is a handsome woman and would be a worthy Rule 5 subject if such photos existed.

I don’t know if Erin or Savannah should be embarrassed or relieved. I know if I was Rush I’d be worried.

Yeah I know it’s silly but it’s good for my heart.

…as I give you a quick update on our Silly Bikini/speedo experiment for Morning Joe.

After two days the search for Mika picture has not only generated 2 1/2 times the number of hits than Savannah Guthrie, but Tuesday searches for Mikia in a Bikini or in “sexy photos” drove 5 times the amount of traffic here as Hannah Giles searches.

I guess the lady still has it, but there are still 5 days to go.
