Tom Wesley candidate in ma-2 talked to me before his appearance on WCRN:
Make sure you take a moment to kick in to his campaign here.
Update: Fixed a dropped T thanks Smitty
We had a great time both before and after the WCRN broadcast.
Before the congressional candidates Dem State Senator Richard Moore was on the air
The three wise men before the show
Bill and Marty’s wives joined in for a shot.
There were quite a few callers from over the state
We took some photos just after we got off the air
And Marty provided us with his famous Congressional Barf Bags
After the show we went to a place called Sweet in Worcester
The crew here was very busy:
And they Don’t stuff the Cannoli until you order:
The place was full and rocking
But John and Sam were the stars of the show
In two weeks we will have Bill Gunn, Tom Wesley and Marty Lamb on again. We hope you tune in.
Update: Here is a video I shot at Sweet
I have no idea why I called John “Tom” in that video. Late night I guess.
…in addition to DaTechGuy on DaRadio as 4th banana you will have not 1, not 2 but 3 republican congressional candidates in studio during the 2nd hour. Bill Gunn from ma-1, Tom Wesley from ma-2 , and Marty Lamb from ma-3.
A democratic state senator will be on in the first hour, but either way I hope you will all listen tonight from 7-9 on 830 a.m. or listen to the live feed here.
For several months every single indication I have seen in Massachusetts points to an upheaval of epic proportions.
I have argued that Bill Gunn not only has an excellent chance of winning Ma-1 and John Olver is running scared.
I have stated that Republicans will win at least three seats in congress in Massachusetts.
I have said that Jim McKenna’s success as a write in candidate is the single most significant election nationwide.
Although I’ve said Fortune favors the bold the GOP hasn’t taken my advice in Massachusetts.
Well the wall street journal has finally taken notice?
Republican advances in traditionally Democratic states, including Connecticut, Oregon and Washington, may not translate into a wave of GOP victories. But they have rattled local campaigns and forced the Democrats to shift attention and money to races they didn’t expect to be defending.
Rising sentiment against the party in power has washed ashore even in coastal Oregon, where Democratic Rep. Peter DeFazio won his 10th re-election two years ago with 82% of the vote.
The media is underplaying this tremendously for fear of what is coming.
It’s finally reached the point where Stacy McCain has decided to drop everything and head up here He will be covering the races in ma-5, ma-6 and ma-10 but hopefully he will have time to get to WCRN tonight to join us since Bill Gunn from ma-1, Tom Wesley from ma-2 , and Marty Lamb from ma-3 will all be in the studio for the second hour.
Let me stress. All of these candidates can win their districts if you can help them out with either time or money!
