My latest for the Examiner touches on a sure sign of the resurgence of the GOP in the Bay state:

If you look at the tea parties the signs are they are healthy. Glenn Beck drew 300k plus to Washington, Candidates republican and democrat are attending Tea Party events and candidates they support are winning national races over sitting incumbents (Joe Miller).

These are the signs of a movement that is strong and relevant. Just as importantly the Mass. GOP is also showing such signs.

There was a time when calling the GOP strong and relevant in Massachusetts would have produced laughs and guffaws… no longer!

Is it any wonder that some continue to tpaint the tea party as extreme while in Michigan democrats and unions go so far as to run fake tea party candidates of their own to rescue endangered liberals?

As always you can find the rest of my examiner articles here.

Jacob Sutherland is a regular at the twin city tea party and attended Glenn Beck’s Restoring Honor Rally

This was split into 3 parts to accommodate YouTube

I had a feeling after this talk my Arch enemy good friend Chris’ head blew up

His comments concerning the Al Sharpton crowd “How can you be angry? You won.” was funny, he also credited Sharpton with about 10k. He calls the 3k number low and as he was there I believe him.

You will note I put this under Religion, you can not avoid putting the Beck Rally there.

I interviewed Guy Carbone at the end of the Twin City Tea Party on Aug 30 2010.

When it comes to demographics and religion and ethnicity there is no candidate closer to me that I’ve met.

He was a last minute addition because we had extra time, it’s a good thing too because he had a lot to say

He is one of two Sticker candidates for AG on the republican side

He took questions from the crowd.

And seems to be a best defense is a good offense type of guy.

You don’t get much more Italian than this man, he could be a fellow in my parish.
