Given Mitch McConnell’s statement warning GOP senators not to challenge electors and force a senate vote I can’t see any incentive for GOP voters to turn out on January 5th for Kelly Loeffner or David Perdue unless they immediately and publicly vow to challenge said electors on the 6th if elected.

Both candidates should be made to commit to do so before a single conservative consents to vote for them.

Apparently Mitch McConnell would rather be the Senate Minority Leader for at least two years rather be majority leader and have his caucus have to vote to challenge electors in a fraudulent election.

Odd that the Democrats are not pushing for such a challenge by the GOP if it will be so fatal for the party isn’t it?

Joe Biden gave a key speech this week and managed only 52K live viewers watching it.

This is in the middle of a pandemic with people stuck at home after supposedly getting 80 million votes

Apparently the mythical Joe Biden voters who gave him the election are like Mayflies they exist and show activity for one day a year and then disappear.

As you can see Vin is, in addition to a doctor, a NBC news and MSNBC news analyst and he had some big news.

Perhaps he should have also expressed some gratitude on the President who put Operation Warp Speed in place which made it possible.

Of course his gigs on NBC & MSNBC depend on him not doing so. After all “Do no Harm” as a rule for doctors has been replaced by “do no harm to Democrat election prospects”

Finally As I was writing this post an old tweet of mine from two years ago was retweeted and I found it particularly apt for what might be coming.

If there is a more important reminder to those who would enslave us I can’t think of it. I think it’s also worth pointing out that Democrat efforts to convince such heavily armed people that participating in the Democratic Process of a republic is a waste of time by openly stealing an election is short sighted and dangerous.

Yesterday I ended up working a six hour shift on my day off due to increased business at my day (well evening) job. I’m told that this overtime will likely be offered for the next month during what is traditionally our dead period before Black Friday.

Remind me how bad that Trump economy is?

Watched the two town halls yesterday before the lifestream three quick points

  1. When you’re electing a leader to face a tough world you want one who can handle opponents playing hardball
  2. It’s clear Joe Biden’s battery is winding down as he got slower as the event went on, one might think they were winding him up between breaks.
  3. The contrast between fixers in the crowd (including an Obama speechwriter asking questions) for Biden and the way the two candidates were treated in real time is the real contrast that the media wanted to avoid.

If you agree with Joe Biden that Donald Trump deserves very little credit for peace in the middle east, ask yourself this question:

Did you ever think you would read those kind of poll number concerning peace with Israel in your life outside the Babylon Bee?

Went to lunch with DaWife yesterday at the 99 Restaurant as Happy Jacks is still not opening for lunch during the semi lockdown.

They have worked hard to earn our business so I suspect we will alternate between Happys and the 9’s when they reopen, that’s called treating your customers right.

Twitter hasn’t figured this out yet

Twitter might not care all that much right now but I’ll wager that the IE people weren’t all that worried about Firefox when it launched either.

Finally Tralfaglar the only pollster who got 2016 right is predicting a Trump win, albeit in the mid 270’s.

That seems pretty low to me, but in fairness last time the Democrats didn’t see him coming and their vote fraud apparatus was only active in a couple of states with key races (read NH) so perhaps they are adjusting for the need to win beyond the margin of fraud.

I ended up betting another $100 on trump on twitter with an individual yesterday which is $100 beyond what my limit was but frankly if I was richer I’d literally bet the house I first lived in when we got married on this result.

Prediction: The realization that Biden is going to lose and lose big is going to hit the left very soon, once it does things will get very interesting.

Beer, Crops, Laptops Browsers & Retailers Under the Fedora

Apparently a small beer company in Seattle is making beer with the Acronym APAB (all Police are bastards) on each can. The owner says he’s happy to lose customers that disagree.

The irony here is palatable he is free to put whatever message he wants on the beer, other are free not to buy it, that’s free market capitalism at work.

The bigger irony? He is free to do so because he doesn’t have to worry about those who disagree torching his brewery, thanks to police.

In something right out of the movie The Devil & Daniel Webster, between 180 and 270 million bushels of corn in Iowa were likely damaged by hurricane force winds and rain that hit the state. Given that Corn is the basis for a lot of what we make and eat expect food prices to go up fast.

As Glenn Reyonlds put it: “We’re lucky to live in a country where news like this doesn’t presage a famine.”

Thank capitalism.

I finally got that replacement laptop I was talking about. I ended up buying a HP from my local Staples vs the Acer I was going to buy on Amazon because it seemed to me that every single laptop being sold there was from a 3rd party seller and the number of bad reviews of the specific sellers seemed awful high to me so I decided I’d rather buy somewhere so if there is a problem I can go to an actual person in an actual store face to face (or these days mask to mask) for relief rather than go to court.

It’s nice having choices like this rather than having to go through a monopoly like Amazon.

Counting the new laptop that is still in its box I now have 3 laptops functioning. All of my email in done on the oldest. This one is going to get hooked up to ann old screen with an HDMI cable as soon as I find one and the new one will be for my general work. Interesting point. Didn’t have brave on the oldest laptop and because I wanted a link for an email opened a site I visit regularly in chrome.

The number of ads and popups was astounding. You don’t really appreciate the joy of running a brower like Brave until you do without it.

Finally apparently Macy is leaving its location in Chicago’s “Magnificent Mile” where it currently has 8 levels with 170,000 square feet but has been hit twice during riots.

Everyone is insisting that this has nothing to do with the riots or police response I’m sure Amazon’s moves to get people out of Seattle and into the suburbs have nothing to do with the riots either.

But that’s the thing about the free market, people respond to incentives whether they are taxing to the pocketbook or hazardous to one’s health.

Someone might want to warn Austin Texas about this.

Under the Fedora Irish Democracy, The “New Rules” , the Sullivan Precedents, the Obama Precedents, and a realistic Mass Livestream

I oppose the whole sanctuary City business as a violation of the rule of law, however if there is one thing you can say about the Sanctuary City movement is that it is in keeping of the American Tradition of completely ignoring laws that they don’t like.

We’re now seeing a glimpse of this in NYC:

When you have a one party state or city it usually takes an “I’m mad as hell and can’t take it anymore moment. I’m wondering if this might become the case in blue states that remain locked down as other places open.

One other thing about Sanctuary Cities is they work both ways.

“A resolution of the city council of the city of Atwater affirming the city’s commitment to fundamental rights of life, liberty, and property, and declaring the city of Atwater a sanctuary city for all businesses,” the resolution read.

A statewide shelter-in-place order has been in effect since March 19, with gradual easements happening this month. While some counties were reportedly approved to move to “Phase 2” of the state’s reopening plan, which would allow some non-essential lower-risk business to reopen, Atwater’s Merced County was not included.

It will be fun to see the left object to these thing as they’ve objected to sanctuary gun counties. Perhaps they should have thought about the “new rules” as Kurt Schlichter calls them, before imposing them.

The same thing applies to liberals rushing to cheer Judge Sullivan who is doing all he can to pretend that he’s in a Soviet Courtroom rather than an american one. In one respect given how this entire Mike Flynn business has gone such actions by the left should be unsurprising but I’d remind our friend on the left that Donald Trump has appointed a 3rd of the judiciary at this point and you might not like the Sullivan Standards if they are applied to their allies.

The left will not consider these tactics an outrage until they are used against them and under a Jacksonian president, I’d not be surprised to see it, except for the fact that he’s not to my knowledge appointing Jacksonian judges. As Razor put it on twitter:

It’s worth noting that the reason why President Trump has been able to so effectively pack the courts with conservatives is that Harry Reid changed the rules when he presumed that the left would hold the Senate forever.

It’s also a bad political move. I suspect that while Black Americans intellectually know that Barack Obama was a disaster in the White House for America in general and them in particular they cling to the myth of the light-bringer culturally to the point where they might actually turn out to defend that fantasy.

Turned on a livestream of a Sunday Mass on the Roku (I keep ending up finding different ones) and I noticed that there was a chat option.

I thought this was odd considering you aren’t supposed to be talking in Mass but if nothing else said option is an exercise in realism.
