    Pretty good point, that’s actually why I gave my oldest his first credit card on my account, he is responsible but I also have a record of where he was and what he is spending.

    I’m sneaky like that.

    I used to feed my son and his friends, but no way on the credit card thing. He recently moved up the street with a friend. He needed a place to study…uh huh. PARTY!! And I do know where he is..most of the time.

    Well he still lives at home (goes to a college in town) he has a job and has been very responsible in general.

    These days too much of the basic stuff in life requires a card.

    I can certainly see your point, if he was less responsible I wouldn’t take the chance, and of course I review the expenses monthly.
