It doesn’t deal with Windows 7. It doesn’t critique the OS or anything about it. It simply points to the past and pretends that each windows OS was a failure. Some undoubtedly were (Windows MEss) but Apple can’t find actual snark to use about 7 itself.
Beyond anything else this shows that Apple is actually worried about Windows 7 and is the single best endorsement of the product that I can think of.
In honor of this inability lets put up something classic on the other side:
Slight language warning but it’s fun.

Kind of like all the Microsoft Commercials critiquing the price of Apple’s laptops. Microsoft of course sells no Laptops or any other computer. Or pretty much any commercial by Microsoft in the last year or so that never talked about their actual products.
Now I have been using Win 7 since it was released to developers on MSDN and as a Windows app developer I am pretty happy with Win 7. Though I would still give Snow Leopard the edge for speed and usability and tests have already born out the fact the SL is faster on same machine than Win 7. Though Windows still rules in graphic rendering speed.
Jeff as a person who has been using seven I have a question. As the father of a kid studying graphic design can you see any reason why a good windows 7 system wouldn’t do vs a Mac which is supposedly THE graphics design system?
Well Adobe Photoshop being the king of graphic programs along with other programs in their line being on both platforms there is not a major difference in that regard.
Though movie editing is another story and Mac software such as Final Cut is used professionally. In the world of multimedia Macs are rather dominant.
Though if you are not going full bear with for example Photoshop I think some of the reasonably priced Mac graphic programs such as Pixelator beat out anything on the PC side of things for power and ease of use.
So all else being equal for just graphic editing it is pretty even.
Good to know and college is a long time, no idea what major he will end up with. Thanks muchly for the info.
