Hamas Breathes a Sigh of Relief all the Propaganda, None of the Danger

When I first heard about the Hospital in Gaza being hit in passing at work my first thought was: Israel Has reached their Dark Knight moment. The moment when they are not playing the old game anymore. A Hamas HQ in a Hospital doesn’t mean a thing to them anymore. If Hamas is there Israel will kill them.

For Hamas such a situation would mean that there is no longer anywhere that is safe for them. No amount of hostages would save them, Yeah they would play the propaganda card but no amount of propaganda would save them, and with all the various middle east countries saying they want no part of the Palestinians of Gaza (which tells you all you need to know about them) it meant they would get their chance to be the martyrs that they claimed they always dreamed of being and I suspect the thought scared them shitless.

But when I got home I got the facts. Apparently an Islamic Jihad rocket fell short and hit the Hospital which produced a bunch of secondary explosions (why it’s as if the Hospital was a gigantic ammo dump or something) and killed a bunch of people. I suspect quite a few of them Hamas.

And Hamas now can breathe a sigh of relief, because now they have the best of both worlds:

  1. Israel still being blamed for the attack giving a propaganda card they can play with the Muslim world that will believe anything they say against the Jews anyways.
  2. Israel not actually crossing the line indicating they are willing to pay any political price to kill them.

Now I actually think that Israel is ready to cross the line and had decided to starve them a bit more before moving in and want them in the maximum state of exhaustion because you can’t stay on full alert for an invasion forever, particularly when your leadership is being decapitated at the same time. When Israel comes they’re going to come big and terrible.

But at least for now Hamas and their sponsors in Iran can breathe a sigh of relief that the end that I believe is coming is not yet a confirmed fact.

At least not yet.

Update: I guess I mixed up my Hospitals in terms of the Hamas Base From Hotair:

Besides, if Israel wanted to target a hospital, it would have been Al-Shifa in Gaza City. Why? Hamas has its command headquarters in Al-Shifa, an open secret for more than a decade. The Washington Post wrote about it in 2014 during the last major Israel-Hamas conflict. Guy Benson also wrote about it here nine years ago, linking a Tablet blast against the media for ignoring it — even though reporters routinely met with Hamas propagandists at Al-Shifa:

While there have been murderous tyrannies that have slaughtered millions all though history in modern society the Nazi’s have been held up as the ultimate evil.

A lot of this is because the left doesn’t want to talk about the communists who when it comes to slaughtering and oppressing folks have outdone them on a huge scale both in individual countries (Russia & China) and worldwide, but they are the left allies so they aren’t allowed on the list, but in fairness the Nazi’s are a solid 2nd choice for the worst murderous tyrannies out there from their conquering of Europe and holding countries hostage to repression at home to of course the holocaust (Which based on what we’ve seen on campus this week in the US a good chunk of the campus left would consider the gassing of jews a mitigating factor in their favor, a feature rather than a bug of the Nazi regime) the Nazi have earned their spot in infamy.

So it takes some effort to look worse than the Nazis but Hamas is managing it by this by blockading their own civilians from fleeing Israel’s upcoming attack and even confiscating car keys to prevent their folks from getting out of harms way.

Contrast this with the Nazis’ in the action that resulted in the awarding of the final Knight’s Cross for bravery that was issued by them

So let’s sum up. Members of the Nazi German Navy and Air force risked their lives to evacuate civilians from East Prussia to save them from the attacking soviets and others held the line even after the official surrender to save as many as possible.

Meanwhile Hamas is doing all they can to make sure Palestinians in Gaza can die in an Israeli invasion so they can use their deaths as a propaganda tool in the west.

Congats Hamas, you have managed to be so evil that even actual Nazis can look at you, shake their head and feel morally superior

I’m Old Enough to Remember When the Left Insisted “All Lives Matter” is a Racist Dog Whistle!

For the last four years I’ve been reliably told by the left that anyone who insisted that or Tweeted out “All Lives Matter” was a racist, a bigot and a person who hated blacks.

Now while that’s of course nonsense since all men are created in the image of God and thus their lives matter, my opinion on this subject was ignored and the “new rules” were put in place by people of the left like the folks at Vox:

The racist roots of the dog whistle

In fact do a search for the phrase: “All lives matter is a racist dog whistle” and you will find pages of results of our friends on the left declaring that under their rules (not mine) the phrase “all lives matter” is a racist dog whistle and a reliable sign that the person who utters it is beyond the pale.

Well lo and behold apparently now that Israel is about to invade Gaza to destroy the babykillers of Hamas guess what phrase is acceptable again:

Why I’m shocked SHOCKED that Congresswoman Talib would DARE to suggest that “all lives matter” after all the best and the brightest of the elites have told us for almost half a decade now that any person who dares utter this phrase must be a horrible racist who should be shunned and disreguarded.

Now of course I don’t believe that myself but these aren’t my rules, these are the rules that the left in media, academia and Politics have insisted on so how can it be that Talib can say this without being denounced.

Why anyone might suspect that they don’t actually believe in these new rules that they’ve prorogated and only apply them when there is a political advantage and toss them aside as soon as any ally, like say Mass murderers who slaughter helpless women and children and behead babies allies, might be held responsible for their actions.

I look forward to reading the numerous columns in the left media denouncing Congresswoman Talib as a racist.

I’m sure they’ll be ready to print the day after Iran declares that Israel has a right to exist and defend itself from terrorist attacks.

Unexpectedly of course.

The Perfect Example of How Hell Works, The Jewish Left’s Sudden Encounter With Reality

I was in conversation with my priest this morning after mass and confession and I noted how today’s 1st reading from Joel was almost a blueprint for what is happening and going to happen in Gaza.

As we continued to talk we discussed confession. To get the forgiveness of God paid for by Christ one must be willing to look at oneself in the light of truth. The knowledge that you have sinned and contrition for them is what drives a good Catholic to confession. This is why before absolution one recites an act of contrition like this one.

O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins because of thy just punishments, but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, who art all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve with the help of Thy grace to sin no more and to avoid the near occasion of sin. Amen.

There are those who are unwilling and incapable of looking at once self in the light of truth. Who are in denial of their sins. This is why Hell is in fact a mercy of God. Demons under compulsion during exorcisms have bluntly admitted they understand the love of God and the decisions they have made but when asked if they would change their choices they’ve replied emphatically NO! Their pride will not allow it.

Thus do people put themselves into hell as the merciful alternative to admitting a reality that they can’t bear to admit. Pride the ultimate sin.

And that brings us to the pains that parts of the left, particularly the Jewish left is now feeling.

You see many of on the right, particularly folks like Pam Geller and Robert Spencer have been talking about the antisemitism of the left in General and the Muslim left in particular for many many years. For their troubles they were called bigots and hate mongers by all the “right” people of the elite left. How DARE they suggest that any people of the left might think this way! Any such statement was “hate” speech and “violence”.

And then came the Hamas attacks and the slaughter and worse of not only of men but of women and children.

That was painful and awful, particularly to those who had argued for the Palestinians (although a lot more painful for some and even fatal for others) but the pain increased when in colleges around the nation and the world groups (particularly groups heavy in the DEI defended hamas and the slaughter of woman and children. As Victor Davis Hanson put it:

In Australia you actually had the spectacle of people publicly shouting “Gas the Jews” while the only person taken into custody was a single Jewish counter protester with an Israeli flag. In America the highest bastions of Education openly supported these murderous bastards.

To some on the left, particularly the Jewish left it was an eye opening moment. A moment of clarity that shows their “allies” for what they actually are and have always been. Ready to decry “microaggressions” of any of opposed them but declaring that loud public support for the mass murder of woman and children is “free speech’ to be protected and/or excused.

To these people comes the great decision. Do they divorce themselves from this barbarians, do they admit that those of us on the right have been telling the truth all along or do they hate us on the right so much that allying with folks who support their own murder is better?

But for all the angst that this decision will bring their situation at least they now see beyond the bubble and are in a position to make a choice.

There are others on the left who still maintain denial, both of the acts of Hamas or that they bear any responsibility for them.

You see for those folks acknowledging any of these things means they must face the possibility of being wrong. They mustn’t see things in the light of truth it is more then they can handle. Much better to live the lie and remain in the bubble.

How these groups will respond to the reality will define them for the rest of their lives. The question: How many will rather suffer the hell of denial than the pain of reality?

Pray for them all.
