The mainstream media has been downplaying the rioting and looting that has been occurring this summer across many large American cities–all run by Democrats.

Three people were shot last week in what the mainstream media often calls “unrest,” but are in fact riots.

Powerline has rightly called the downplaying by the media of last week’s looting in Minneapolis “journalistic malpractice.”

One state over in Wisconsin, during the rioting and looting in Kenosha last week, a 17-year-old from nearby Antioch, Illinois, Kyle Rittenhouse, was charged with murdering three people. The media is focusing on how the riots started–anger over police shooting Jacob Blake, a 29-year-old with a criminal record, seven times. Fair enough.

The media is also exploring Rittenshouse’s possible connection with a local militia

Wisconsin’s Democratic governor, Tony Evers, responded to the mayhem by sending a small force of National Guard trips, 125 of them, on Monday, which was doubled the next day. After Tuesday’s shootings Evers doubled the deployment again and he’s since accepted Guard assistance from other states and from the federal government.

But what if Evers dispatched 500 National Guard troops to Kenosha as soon as the rioting started Sunday night? Perhaps that militia would have stayed home and Rittenhouse, who appears to be a troubled cop-wannabe that got his hands on an AR-15 rifle despite being a minor, would have remained home in Illinois.

Details are still coming in on the shooting death of a man during Saturday’s round of rioting in Portland, Oregon. Last night a pro-Trump group confronted Black Lives Matter in downtown Portland. In what the local police are calling a homicide–a man wearing clothing with a Patriot Prayer logo was shot to death in the middle of a street. The Oregonian is calling Patriot Prayer a far-right group. Of course the mainstream media never calls Antifa far-left, but that’s a subject for another post, of course.

The rioting, mercifully no longer called “mostly peaceful” by the media, has been a nightly event for three months in Oregon’s largest city. Portland’s ineffective mayor, Ted Wheeler, is deaf to the concern of law-abiding citizens of the Rose City.

It’s a new week. Hopefully last week’s riot deaths will be the last ones. And perhaps these homicides will finally compel mayors like Wheeler to take back their cities in the names of the rank-and-file citizens they claim to represent.ย

Never forget: The most important responsibility of any government is to protect its citizens.

As for the mainstream media, I believe they are too far gone to save themselves.

Porn Vs Reality A Public Service Message

The prevalence of pornography in society has reached a point where I think it’s rather important to remind people of an important difference between porn and reality:

No matter how many videos you have seen on the multitude of porn sites available on the internet suggesting a different more amorous outcome in this situation, the reality is that if your wife ever comes home and catches you having sex with your mother this is the most likely result:

ย A mother and her son are facing the possibility of spending 20 years in prison after being caught having sex by the manโ€™s wife, according to police and court documents.

Police were called to a residence on Clarendon Street on May 20 on a report of a disturbance, the responding officer reported.

When he arrived, he was greeted by a cousin of the wife of Tony L. Lavoie, 43, of Clarendon Street.

The cousin told the officer that Lavoieโ€™s wife had called her about walking in on her husband having sex with his mother, Cheryl Lavoie, 64, of the same address, before calling 911.

This is what reality looks like, you have been warned.

Closing thought: A while back 2014 to be exact I wrote a post about the progression of the porn industry showing how the industry was going further and further toward incest as a norm (quotes within the full quote in italics)

If twenty years ago when all of the stuff Iโ€™ve written about was WAY beyond the pale, when Porn was not easily accessible to the general public at home, ย a young girl actually wondered if this stuff was normal, what will young women think when theyโ€™ve been inoculated to this for a decade?ย Stacy McCain had it pegged:

Popular culture has been so corrupt for so long that many young people are incapable of making any distinction between vice and virtue, categories that sophisticated people are expected to reject as old-fashioned, if not altogether obsolete or, indeed, hatefully oppressive. As for the attitudes of adults, well, they are supposed to strive for eternal youth, to conform both their appearance and their appetites to the fashionable standards prevailing among the most shamelessly adventurous adolescents.

he closes thus.

Welcome to America in 2013. Welcome to the New Abnormal.

And if the New abnormal is where it is today in 2013 where will it be in 2024?

And people wonder why the folks at Netflix still don’t see the problem with “Cuties”?

2024 is still four years away but if you go to a porn site today you will be bombarded with choices concerning mothers and sons fathers and daughters and whole family units doing stuff that would be considered the so fringe of the fringe twenty years ago that Jeffrey Epstein & Ghislaine Maxwell might have said “EWW”.

What do you think the sexual standards of the folks who grew up on this stuff are going to be like in 30 years?

I noticed this post at Stacy McCain’s site about a big time liberal Bernie Socialist voter who works in a Nursing Home in NY and is both:

  1. Angry at the democrats for the Biden/Harris Ticket as not radical enough
  2. Angry at Andrew Cuomo over his Covid response.

That reminded me of the axiom that people are always conservative about things that pertain to them. For example the elites of the left champion public schools and deride charter schools, while making sure their kids aren’t anywhere near them.

So it hit me that the best way to explain to a woke Biden voter that all of this 2+2=5 stuff that will continue to be pushed if he is elected is dangerous is to give them real life examples of where that comes into play.

So let me ask you, oh Biden/Bernie voter these questions:

  • Will you feel comfortable having your breaks fixed by a mechanic who has been taught that hydraulic force manipulation is racist western concept?
  • Will you feel comfortable getting a prescription for your medication if the person determining your dosage has been taught that 2+2=4 is a racist western concept?
  • Will you feel comfortable getting a replacement heart valve designed by someone taught that 2+2=4 is a racist western concept or put in by a surgeon who has been taught the same?

Finally:

  • If you were an insurance company would you insure any of the people or devices unless there was a clause voiding coverage if any of them worked under the assumptions taught that I listed above. I’ve listed above?

When you choose to vote Biden and surrender in the culture wars to the radical left that now runs our universities, this is what you are voting for.

A lot of people think the riots are the most dangerous thing that the Democrats are pushing but those can be beaten back, but if you lose the basic building blocks of science and engineering, your society never progresses again.

It’s your choice but if you’re going to make choice, do it with your eyes wide open.

Closing thought: I submit and suggest if we had people teaching this at the time of the creation of the TVA we would not have the Raccoon Lake Battery today:

Raccoon Mountain Lake is not your typical Tennessee Valley Authority lake. Carved out of the top of a mountain just west of Chattanooga, its purpose is to store excess energy produced by the TVA when it is generating more hydro and nuclear electricity than is being consumed. The excess energy is used to pump water uphill from the Tennessee River. During periods of peak demand, the water is sent back down, running 1,080 feet through a tunnel in the mountain and generating electricity as it returns to the river. In effect, the lake is a battery. It can generate 1.6 million kw hours of electricity per day. Hereโ€™s a time-lapse video of it filling back up after being emptied to generate electricity.

According to one independent reporter, the man shot is a rapist, wanted by police, yet the governor sold out the police immediately.

Democrat Governors do that.

All things considered, the incident happened in a Democrat-controlled city by officers who are part of and trained by a Democrat-run department and Democrat-controlled city administration.

Funny how that seems to be the case so much?

If they will do this to the police, do you have any doubt left in your mind that they would do this to you?

Via Captain’s Journal

I’m sure that BLM folks shooting at police vehicles were doing so in a “mostly peaceful” way.

The idiots in the streets, embracing fantasies about Marxism imbibed in school room, are doing precisely what they have been trained to do.

I’m increasingly of the opinion that the closing of the public schools has been one of the best silver linings of the entire Coivd /Wuhan/CCP/Corona Virus business.

Quick question for the left. If Trump supporters marched into a neighborhood with a guillotine, would that mean something?

Via Granite Grok

Sure, it would mean that suddenly guillotine themes would be considered “hate speech” by the left and media and not be tolerated.
