…than nobody is going to.

If this questioning was taking place at Gitmo the ACLU and answer would be providing him lawyers.

The only softball came from Jon Meacham of Newsweek.

Only the letter next to his name has changed. They aren’t buying this at all.

Update: You know for days they were building this up as a real possibility and a real game changer but once they had in front of him on it’s as if they just couldn’t keep a straight face. They treated him as if he had no credibility.

But the moment he was off camera again suddenly he is, as Barnicle put it “a man among boys” and a strong candidate. It’s like a switch was suddenly turned back on once he was gone.

I guess the facade just wasn’t possible when he was shoveling it to their faces, but once he was gone the template came back.

Update 2: Did Eugene Robinson et/al just see the same interview that I did? For God’s sake they were there!

Here is the headline from the AP:

Illegal immigrants plan to leave over Ariz. law

If I’m a conservative I would trumpet this headline in every state and every county and every newspaper, I would call up every congressman and woman and ask for comment on this result. I would bring up this law in every state legislature and let the democrats try to oppose it.

If you think the public is supporting the Arizona law now, wait till they get a load of this.

Update: The Anchoress suggests the left is trying to bait us.

Update 2:
I don’t know about memeorandum but the Lonely Conservative is always welcome here.

My latest article for the examiner, Chickens, Eggs and Scott Brown, is up an excerpt:

Politics and money, they go together like bacon and eggs, vodka and caviar, beer commercials and scantly clad ladies. It is inconceivable that you will see one without the other.

Once your candidate gets donated money, the questions arise: Did they support a position because of the money or did their support cause the money to come?

And that is the chair where the favorite candidate of Tea Party members all over Massachusetts and the nation, Scott Brown, finds himself today.

Please head on over and read the whole thing. If you subscribe to my articles over there that certainly won’t hurt my bottom line either.

And thanks to everyone who read my first Examiner article. It’s all about respect as well.

Update: Oh and in case it wasn’t clear from the article I don’t trust the new regulations, I’m glad Brown is opposing them and I don’t care that Goldman gave him 5k or so.

…but did I just hear somebody (Sam Stein) on Morning Joe suggest that the media gave Barack Obama scrutiny when the reverend Wright stuff came out? Somehow nobody bothered to call him on it.

I’m sure I must still be dreaming and when I wake up the young fellow to Pat’s left who’s face I don’t recognize is going to take that back.

The context is Rubio’s use of a GOP credit card and the media is running whole hog on it in the hopes of dropping him but let me give you a clue, ain’t gonna happen. If Marco wasn’t winning in a walk we wouldn’t be seeing this period.

I’ll say it bluntly VOTE RUBIO!
