Tom Savanti talked to me before I managed to lose my laptop at the Perry HQ

Stacy added some interesting questions concerning Tom’s Vietnam service.

The biggest news from the interview than Stacy and I had with Sean Bielat (other than byebyebarney.org) was the news the president Obama will be coming to Massachusetts to campaign for Deval Patrick.

I seem to recall that the president came to Massachusetts just before election day in January and it had an excellent effect…for republicans.

With republicans dying to link their opponents to the president I can’t think of any move that the democrats can make that will cause them more grief in congressional races in the state, that being said since there is a three-way divide for Governor this might actually help Patrick rally his base…if his base was pleased with Obama.

But what do I know? I’m just a fat guy in a fedora.

Yeah I know he got it up first, but he’s a faster typist than me….but I’ll have VIDEO shortly Heh Heh Heh!

…and finds the neighborhood wanting:

Here is the part to me that says something about us societally. Obviously multiple gun shots. Just look at the number of dead people. NO ONE CALLED THE COPS.

The police were alerted by a device called Shot Spotter. If it weren’t for the technology how long might it have been before the police knew something happened? Dawn?

This to me says more about the neighborhood and what some areas think about society; law and order than others do.

The truth is a lot of race hucksters have made a comfortable living pitting Black Americans against the police and their communities have paid the price for it in blood.

First there was the Bill Gunn signs everywhere

Then there was the Olver sign at the closed business on John Fitch Highway that was gone in 48 hours.

48 Hours later it moved to Burger King and was gone the same day.

The Olver sign disappears from Burger King

But at last 48 Hours later it has apparently found a permanent home at Jiffy Lube on 541 John Fitch Highway

I talked to the guys at Jiffy Lube. They said a lady came by and asked permission to put the sign up and they agreed. So the 3rd time is the charm and in a city where Bill Gunn signs abound the John Olver’s sign finally has a home.

Awwwwwwwwww

Of course if it changes I’ll let you know.
