All three candidates graciously agreed to speak to me after the debate:

It was quite a thing to hear a democrat actually defend Obamacare and not talk about repeal, it was almost refreshing. If you’re going to vote for something; own it!

This was my first meeting with Mr. Engel, he is a good advocate for ideas that I totally disagree with

Gunn pointed out Olver has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on TV. He will be running some TV but could use about 40K to try to compete with Congressman Olver’s volume and put him over, can you help? if you can Click Here to contribute.

William Jacobson was kind enough to host us at his house in Ithaca NY while we posted to get the Buerkle News conference stuff up:

His wife was a charming and excellent host as well. It’s also kinda strange, but I think he looks better than the shot on his site, what do you think?

Update: I just re-read the sentence above and the punctuation is bad and it conveys the wrong meaning. It’s not his wife that’s kinda strange, but the fact that he looks better than the shot on his site, normally a shot on a site is the best shot you have.

My latest for the Examiner is Tracking the Big Red Wave:

Last week in Ma-4 I talked to A Haitian immigrant who came 32 years ago indignant that people assumed she supported the president because she is black and talking of American opportunity , while her co-worker spoke of regret for her Obama vote of 2008 opting home this election cycle. I’ve heard this a lot, but is this a local trend or a national one?

This week I traveled 1200 miles through 5 states to find out:

Yeah it’s still 10 days to go but all my data points are looking in the same direction I think the Red Wave is on its way but as Hughey says, if you slack off it might not get here, so go out knock on some doors and make some calls STAT!
