While the President is right about the state of the city of Boston (which is why I’m unlikely to go to any Redsox games next year) when he talks about the World Cup the reality is that the game would take place in Foxborough which is actually quite a ways away from the city.

It’s sort of the way people assume folks from Massachusetts are from “Boston” because they really don’t know any other city here. Although in fairness Trump’s move would likely hit Boston’s hotel industry.

Speaking of Foxborough the New England Patriots after six weeks under a new coach and with a real #1 receiver on the field suddenly find themselves in first place thanks to a pair of losses by the Buffalo Bills, one delivered by Said Patriots.

I credit the new receiver because as he’s now drawing the coverage of the other teams best guy it means that the rest of the receiving crew are now facing easier coverage which is why Maye keeps finding them open.

I had been talking to people at work saying: Boy whoever bet on this must have really scored big but apparently a $10 bet that the Pats would be in 1st place by week six only paid $45 and one that they would win the division only paid $55.

That surprised me more than them being in first but it tells me those oddsmakers really know their jobs.

We are nearing the 100th anniversary of the moment when Western Civilization started committing suicide, namely the anniversary of when the Lambeth Conference, which takes place every 10 years in the Anglican church, suddenly decided that birth control was no longer a grave sin.

The so called small exception they made became standard in all protestant denomination and the birth rates plummeted in the west. Within two generations the Brits lost their empire, within 4 generations brits and other western countries imported millions of Muslims and now 95 years later Brits are being arrested for displaying the Union Jack in their own country because it might offend Muslims.

You know God’s command to “be fruitful and multiply” like all of his rules and laws are not for HIS benefit, but is for ours.

The saddest thing about this answer to a question by Sen John Fetterman is that it’s being cheered by us:

It’s sad because not calling people Hitler and trying to murder political foes is such a low bar that one should not need to be praised but that’s where we now are.

I have absolutely no interest in a bunch of college kids saying something stupid in a chat when the left won’t critique college students for violently attacking feds or their fellow students.

That being said anyone who decided to demand GOP candidate Sears denounce them for their words at a time when the Democrats in VA won’t have their AG candidate step down for wishing murder on kids is really stupid.

As Casey Stengel once said about his 1962 Mets: “Can’t anybody play this game?”

…is that he knows there are plenty of other texts out there from plenty of other Democrats nationwide some of which he likely holds, that are the same or worse than what he said and they know that if he pulls out those texts will find their way into the public’s hands or be sources of blackmail for democrats grifters who being Marxists are all ends type people.

How many such texts to do you think ANTIFA has received from Democrat office holders? I’d wager a ton.

I could be wrong but I suspect not.

Ignoring the Kingdom of Noise

Posted: September 27, 2025 by datechguy in Uncategorized

I have one quick thought concerning Trump that just hit me.

If there is one thing that he has done better than any other president is ignore the kingdom of noise of the left.

The left and their media allies amplify stories and ignore others in order to push their agenda, to make it seem like there is national outrage over a subject that only they care about much in the same way that they INSISTED that Joe Biden was fine right up to the moment that it was no longer possible and INSISTED that Kamala Harris was winning the election right up to the point where it was not possible to sell it.

Donald Trump does two things to counter them.

  1. Ignore them (when it comes to policy)
  2. Call them out and overshadow them

While the 2nd gets the most press it’s the first that is most important because if you deal in reality rather than what the media says you can get all kinds of things done and when you realize that if you ignore what they say in the end they actually don’t have power.

The media’s only power is to convince others of their own relevance. Trump has figured this out and the world trembles.

Me today at 6:22 AM EST via Twitter X or whatever you want to call it:

In case you can’t read the tweet:

PREDICTION: Sometime today

@realDonaldTrump will make a public statement about the Murder in #charlotte on video and the MSM will suddenly discover the story of Iryna Zarutska’s murder under the heading: “Republicans pounce” #unexpectedly of course #IrynaZarutska

Trump today:

Axos today via Instapundit:

AXIOS GOES INTO FULL REPUBLICANS POUNCE MODE TO TUT-TUT ZARUTSKA MURDER: Stabbing video fuels MAGA’s crime message.

MAGA influencers are drawing repeated attention to violent attacks to elevate the issue of urban crime — and accuse mainstream media of under-covering shocking cases.

  • Shocking video of the fatal Aug. 22 knife attack on 23-year-old Iryna Zarutska on a light-rail car in Charlotte, North Carolina, dominated weekend conversation on Trump-friendly social media.

The big picture: The rising number of surveillance cameras in public spaces, including on Charlotte’s light rail, has become a big accelerant in these cases.

  • The video is easily shared or leaked, and can instantly pollinate across social media — a visual counterpoint to statistics showing crime decreases.

Glenn opines:

“Since the number one rule for the legacy media is ‘thou shalt not support anything Trump does,’ naturally the Zarutska murder can’t be covered. And it won’t be, unless they can find — or manufacture — some alternative angle that will make Trump look bad. So far, they’ve come up a dry hole. So nothing.”

And that’s why Axios started off Monday by blaming the video of Zarutska’s murder, and Republicans’ response to it. It’s adjacent to their fellow leftists originally demanding omnipresent police body cams, and then being shocked that almost invariably, they show the police responding competently to violent crimes being committed:

In fairness this was easier to predict than the questions Joe Biden was getting at press conferences.
