Sarah Hoyt completely nailed the problem with the entire Trump vs DeSantis argument in twelve words

I STILL SAY NONE OF THIS MATTERS AS LONG AS FRAUD REMAINS

I suspect the primary reason Trump won is because Dems who had been stealing these states for years figured they didn’t have to that time around

I remember an old skit from the pre-python show “Do Not Adjust Your Set” where everybody in a criminal gang turned out to be an undercover policeman. I thought of this when I saw this piece at Hotair:

The FBI had more people in the Proud Boys than the Proud Boys

Clearly this Administration’s demand for violent opponents of this administration from the right clearly exceeds the supply. So the idea is “do it yourself”

And of course who cares about the norms of evidence when there are political opponents to defeat.

Former soldier Kurt Schlichter notes trust in the leadership of the Military continues to sink as the mission is now wokeness

Why the hell should anybody join the military right now? Don’t tell me that it is “to defend the United States” because that’s not what the military’s primary occupation appears to be anymore. Let’s review. We just had former admiral and current Biden Baghdad Bob, smarmy State Department Spokesperson John Kirby, announce that a “core part” of United States foreign policy is “LGBTQ+ rights.” You know, not a lot of normal people particularly want to suffer and bleed for that blue coastal fetish. Maybe they do in the rich liberal neighborhoods where Kirby’s masters live – actually, they are happy for your kids to suffer and bleed for it, not their own.

I guess Remy is right on China not needing to worry

At Don Surber’s substack today he notes how Trump played Allen Bragg and the media like a fiddle concerning an indictment. The best part of it is this:

NBC said, “Law enforcement agencies are prepping for a possible Trump indictment as early as next week.”

As early as next week!

Politico said to Trump, I’ll see your Tuesday and raise you a Monday.

Reuters reported early last Monday, “Former U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to be indicted by a grand jury late Monday or on Wednesday in a hush payments case involving a porn star, Politico reported on Monday, citing three unidentified people involved in the deliberations.”

The walls are closing in!

When the walls had not moved on Monday, Politico changed its story

It seemed that the media had plenty of sources ready to say the indictment was coming this day or that day or some other day but it just never came.

Yeah maybe Trump tried to game Bragg but every media outlet was ready quickly had sources to say something that didn’t come was coming.

amazing.

Finally former Magnificent Seven Writer Juliette Baldilocks Ochieng has the must read piece of the day on her substack on what she saw in CA during the early days of the “lockdowns” :

That first day when I went I out and headed east on I-10, I knew.

I-10 West was pretty much at a dead stop. Taking brief glances over the median, I could see that the traffic consisted mostly of work trucks. Construction workers, gardeners, handymen, plumbers, pool service. Free agents and companies. You name the type of worker, and they were chilling at 0 MPH on the I-10 at 6:30 AM on February 3 March 19, 2020. Bumper to bumper.

I-10 West leads to the 405, and obviously to all points west of that like Santa Monica, Venice Beach, and Beverly Hills. And the 405 North leads to cities where people of means live: entertainment professionals, actors, producers and the like – in other words, rich people. So, all these fine, working gentlemen were heading out to service the houses of these people – to cut their grass, to service their swimming pools, to fix any construction and plumbing issues, and so on. You have to remember how afraid everyone was back then – that some kind of new, virulent disease was destined to kill us all. But the rich did not believe it, and neither did I.

Juiliette might not be writing here but she’s just as worth worth reading as she’s always been.. Go over and subscribe if you haven’t yet.

Too Many People Know a Guy

Yesterday at work when I was waiting at the time clock I was reading the poster on the wall about the COVID vaccine being “safe and effective”.

These poster have been there for quite a long time and are behind the times and the fact, but what ‘s really fascinating is pols are showing that despite an almost complete blackout of the side effects and dangers of the COVID vaccine reality continues to trump the official narrative:

How did they answer? 71% of those surveyed were vaccinated, comparable to the national average. Virtually half of respondents don’t believe the “disinformation” mantra propagated by “fact checkers”, mainstream media, and the government. “49% of American adults believe it is likely that side effects of COVID-19 vaccines have caused a significant number of unexplained deaths, including 28% who think it’s very likely.”

Furthermore, “28% of adults say they personally know someone whose death they think may have been caused by side effects of COVID-19 vaccines.” And “48% of Americans believe there are legitimate reasons to be concerned about the safety of COVID-19 vaccines.”

Think about that for a second if almost 1-2 people people out of a pool that’s 71% vaccinated thinks there are legit reasons to be concerning and more than 1-4 know somebody whose death they think may have be caused by side effect of COVID, that’s huge particularly when there are so many incentives both social and physical for people to believe otherwise.

Furthermore there was not a question concerning illnesses. The number of anecdotes concerning people I know and people who my wife knows who have been having “interesting” health issues who are vaccinated is significant and I suspect if I know plenty of people with problems plenty of other people likely know the same.

Of course all of this is supposition but I’ll leave you with a graphic from Instapundit that I think spikes the ball concerning the amount people trust both the government and the medical profession these days:

Even without this the sheer number of people who know someone with complications is a ticking time bomb. The only question is when will this blow up the narrative to the point where it will be more advantageous to pols to pivot.

When it does a lot of those who enforced vax mandates that were not ordered by the government will be shaking in their boots.

In Tyrie Nichols the MSM/Left has finally found a case of black on black violence that they find newsworthy enough to publicly disapprove of

There are a lot of fine blogs and substack accounts out there worth making a free or cash subscription to, (I humbly suggest considering mine as I have writers to pay) but the best case I’ve seen made by someone to hit the button lately has come from Don Surber this morning with his spectacular piece on the better of the John Kennedys who served in the Senate:

  • “You will never win—never—the uber-woke sweepstakes. I understand that the pressure to run that race is fierce. You will never win it. Nothing you do will ever be enough. The uber-woke people in positions of power in this town think America was evil when it was founded and it’s even more evil today. You’re not going to convince them otherwise.”

He spoke that truth to power at a hearing on September 22, 2017, to Charles W. Scharf of Wells Fargo & Company, Brian Thomas Moynihan of Bank of America, Jamie Dimon of JPMorgan Chase & Co., Jane Fraser of Citigroup, William H. Rogers Jr. of Truist Financial Corporation, Andy Cecere of U.S. Bancorp and William S. Demchak of PNC Financial Services Group.

If that line alone doesn’t get you loving Senator Kennedy nothing will and if this piece doesn’t get you to subscribe to Mr. Surber’s substack nothing will

This week Project Veritas put out what was likely the single most important video it ever did, catching a Pfizer exec going on about mutating the COVID etc. It’s the type of expose that can change the narrative.

Within two days Youtube banned the video and gave him a strike. It “violated their guidelines” not because it was false, but because it was true.

This is going to cost people their lives.

One must under the rules of Christianity love your enemies but as Youtube is a corporation and not a person I don’t think I’m violating rules by awaiting the day of the company’s fall with some anticipation.

Remember once upon a time AOL ruled the roost too.

Went to the local comic store today to pick up Groo and Usagi Yojimbo. The only two comics I still read new. Their creators eighty five year old Sergio Argones (Groo) and sixty nine year old Stan Sakai (Usagi) have been doing their respective two comics for over 45 years (Sakai actually got his start lettering Groo and still does). I don’t go there much as there is a large sign on the door nothing CDC mask recommendations and suggesting people wear them (when I went yesterday nobody had one on) which turns me off but there was one thing worth noting.

Back in the 1980’s when I owned a comic store there were a couple of reprint series out there (Marvel Tales immediately comes to mind) but today it seems every third comic featured is a reprint of a comic from the 60’s or 80’s or 90’s.

Comic stores have apparently figured out they need something other than woke to sustain a business.

Still highly recommend both Groo & Usagi

Finally Yesterday I was watching an old Cary Grant Movie Father Goose (1964) a comedy about a drunken coast watcher who gets stuck with a 30 something year old woman and a bunch of kids from a girls school.

It’s a quaint movie but I don’t recommend watching it right after watched Mark Felton’s audio about the treatment of captive women by the Japanese in World War 2.

The movie gets very serious when you consider what happens if they’re caught.

This is huge:

A coalition of outspoken critics and skeptics of the mainstream narratives on COVID-19 has brought an antitrust lawsuit against some of the world’s largest news organizations, accusing them of working in collaboration to suppress dissenting voices surrounding the pandemic.

This is at the Zerohedge (via Insty) The story continues:

“By their own admission, members of the TNI have agreed to work together, and have in fact worked together, to exclude from the world’s dominant internet platforms rival news publishers who engage in reporting that challenges and competes with TNI members’ reporting on certain issues relating to COVID-19 and U.S. politics,” the complaint reads.

The revelations of the Twitterfiles combined with the continuing number of “unexpected” and “excess” deaths particularly among the young and healthy are really going to drive this suit.

When you see parents outside the courtroom with pictures of their dead kids that’s going to have an impact and if this suit succeeds the class action suits that will follow are going to be tremendous, not only by families of the deceased and the crippled but by those who have lost jobs and livelihoods because of the false narratives advanced and the suppression of truth.

I imagine there are lawyers licking their chops at the thought of it. Bezos has very deep pockets.
