Once upon a time there was a gay couple that adopted sons and the media absolutely loved them in factr the Zulocks were as Town Hall points out were

darlings of the LGBTQ media. They were part of an anti-gay hate campaign promoting “#NOH8,” and Out magazine, which holds the nation’s highest circulation among LGBTQ monthly publications, has repeatedly asked them if its website’s Pride page can feature their photos taken at the Atlanta Pride Parade.

It turns out they were apparently something else using their adopted sons as sexual playthings:

According to a copy of the 17-count indictment Townhall has obtained, the adoptive dads allegedly performed oral sex on both boys, forced the children to perform oral sex on them, and anally raped their sons. In at least one instance, the anal rape injured the older Zulock child, who just turned 11-years-old in mid-December. Court records indicate that the child sexual abuse stretches back to as early as late 2019 and intensified in January 2021, March 2021, and December 2021, as the offense dates are listed.

You would think it doesn’t get any worse than that. You’d be wrong:

An updated criminal affidavit says the child sexual abuse was filmed by William’s husband Zachary, “with whom he routinely engaged in sexually abusive acts” on the boy. Zachary, the household’s breadwinner, confessed to being the cameraman, and authorities allegedly found a folder on his cell phone—labeled “US”—that contained videos of William sexually abusing the child.

very wrong:

The indictment also charges the Zulock co-defendants with soliciting two other men, through the use of popular social media platforms, in the Greater Atlanta metropolitan region to “perform an act of prostitution” with their child that suffered physical injuries from being brutally raped. Townhall is the first to publicly identify these two alleged members of a pedophile ring in the heart of the Peach State: 27-year-old Hunter Clay Lawless and 25-year-old Luis Armando Vizcarro-Sanchez, both of Loganville.

Now you might think that a pair of gay men using their adopted sons as sexual playthings, making gay porn with them and pimping them out to others just might be newsworthy but also that would violate DaTechGuy’s 3rd law of Media Outrage which declares:

The MSM’s elevation and continued classification of any story as Nationally Newsworthy rather than only of local interest is in direct correlation to said story’s current ability to affirm any current Democrat/Liberal/Media meme/talking point, particularly on the subject of race or sexuality.

At least it would be but it seems that this is not considered all that newsworthy on the local level. If you do a search of the Atlanta Journal Constitution for the name “Zulock” you will find it comes back with no results. (As a control I did a search for “Trump” on the same page and my cup overflowith.)

If fact if you do a duck duck go search for Zulock under “news” the only result under “News” for the name “Zulock” in Duck Duck go is a story in the Walton Tribune saying they are due back in court.

Of course that’s Duck Duck Go. What about Google, the biggest search engine in the world? Well do a google search of “jacoby zulock” one of the suspects in the case and you will get a whopping 12 results, only half of them in English. The top result being the Walton Tribune story, three of them being Town Hall posts on the subject one being a short WGAU radio post from Aug 8th and the other a daily beast post from the same day linking to a WSBTV story from the same day

Now you might think a ring producing and distributing child porn and pimping out kids with enough cameras in a house to make Jeffrey Epstein proud might be a story that would gather eyeballs, but when the narrative is all, the last thing the media wants is this story to be in front of any people at all.

#unexpectedly of course

Update: Can’t believe I missed the link to the base townhall piece, Now at the top. Oh and part 2 of the four part series from Townhall is now out, and as as the Talking Heads would put it, the coverage or lack thereof is same as it ever was

Yesterday I was on twitter When I guy named Kyle Clark out of Denver who appears to be a blue checked journalist tweeted out something concerning the murders at the gay nightclub in Colorado that I decided was worth a response:

This led to a long exchange with someone called link12212 who did not care for my response. I pointed out that per the collective guilt argument he was making leftists as a whole responsible for burning of cities, the mass shooting in Milwaukee after an NBA playoff game, the mass murder in Waukesha, the attempted copy cat attack in Winter Garden and of course any attack on any Mosque or member of Islam since they of course happily execute gays simply for being gay.

You can read the full exchange from those tweets as these events are a great example of DaTechGuy’s 3rd law of media outrage which states:

The MSM’s elevation and continued classification of any story as Nationally Newsworthy rather than only of local interest is in direct correlation to said story’s current ability to affirm any current Democrat/Liberal/Media meme/talking point, particularly on the subject of race or sexuality.

This of course fits things to a T as the left as a whole was busy targeting conservatives over this all morning. But while I was at work an interesting development took place:

The public defenders for the suspect in the mass shooting at a Colorado Springs LGBTQ nightclub said in a Tuesday night court filing obtained by a New York Times reporter that their client is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns.

This is a really devastating to the whole “Blame Tucker Carlson” business that Link closed our exchange on:

So given what we’ve seen from the MSM in the past I suspect that the Murders at the Colorado gay bar will go from a national story to a local story faster than you can say: Secoriea Turner or as Ed Driscoll put it at Instapundit:

AND JUST LIKE THAT, THE MEMORY HOLE OPENS UP

Unexpectedly of course

Now while the loss of Mr. Link122 supposed moral high ground from which he played the collective guilt card might be problematic with a nonbinary killer this of course changes nothing for me as my opinion can remain constant, namely that regardless of his pronouns MX Aldrich be held responsible for his crime and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law rather than blaming others.

See how much easier that is.

Update: The moment the story became a local one live on CNN

Update 2: Two awful thoughts

  1. Could the decision not to prosecute the previous crime and the sealing of the records be related to the killers non-binary status?
  2. How will the families of the dead react when the media suddenly decides the killing of their loved ones are no longer newsworthy?

Today on the DaTechGuy off Da Radio Livestream at 3 PM EST we have lots to talk about

  • The peace deal in the middle east and why the left/media is so upset or indifferent to it
  • Escape from BLM in NY & Chicago but where will they flee to
  • Soros DA’s earning their money by not prosecuting rioters
  • Cannon Hinnant & DaTechGuy’s 3rd law of media outrage

it all begins at 3 PM EST You can watch it here ( the placeholder of last week’s show will be replaced at 2:50 or so)

Be there, unless you’ve got something better to do, like marching up and down the square…

FYI note the fellow in the background 2nd row trying mightily not to crack up laughing all through the scene

DaTechGuy’s 3rd law of media outrage states

The MSM’s elevation and continued classification of any story as Nationally Newsworthy rather than only of local interest is in direct correlation to said story’s current ability to affirm any current Democrat/Liberal/Media meme/talking point, particularly on the subject of race or sexuality.

Thus when a local cop in Minneapolis exceeded his authority causing the death of George Floyd it became national news.

However when the riots which broke out pretty much destroyed a chunk of Minneapolis, when a part of Seattle was taken over by Antifa these stories were downplayed and ignored (until POTUS pushed the 2nd forward) as were the 20 deaths attributable to said riots.

Make that 21

Police said Turner was riding in a car with her mother and her mother’s friend when they exited the interstate at University Avenue. The driver tried to turn into the parking lot at 1238 Pryor Road when he was confronted by an “group of armed individuals” who had blocked the entrance.

“At some point, someone in that group opened fire on the vehicle, striking it multiple times and striking the child who was inside. The driver then drove to Atlanta Medical Center for help,” police said in a statement.

Police said the 911 caller told them they were heading to Atlanta Medical Center with the victim. The child died at the hospital.

But the real news here isn’t the shooting of eight year old Secoriea Turner it’s how the BLM riot / protest deaths are being reported or not, as David Bernstein notes concerning another Black lives matter protest related death this weekend…

I had to go to an Australian news source to discover that the driver of the vehicle that sped into BLM protesters in Seattle is an African American. (Apologies if one of my colleagues at Instapundit covered this, I have been away for the holiday weekend.) I have to assume that American media outlets know this, and decided intentionally not to mention it to create the implication that this was a racist murder, rather than a guy driving recklessly on what he thought was an abandoned highway. I increasingly feel like I’m living somewhere akin to the former USSR, in terms of the way the media are dedicated to a particular narrative regardless of the facts. At least unlike in the USSR I can access alternative sources to our equivalent of Pravda.

He’s talking about the death of 24 year old Summer Taylor a white “non-binary” BLM protester who was run down while blocking a freeway by a black driver who likely didn’t anticipate a bunch of people protesting in the middle of it at 1:36 AM in the morning.

The murder of Secoriea Turner is a huge inconvenience to those who have gone all in on the protests being “mostly peaceful” (which is as accurate as saying my vegan soup recipe is “mostly unpoisoned” but the real question will be what happens next

If Black Lives Matter was true to its name, there would be as much global outrage over the death of eight year old Secoriea Turner, gunned down by anti-police protesters in Atlanta Sunday night, as there was for George Floyd….Or as Secoriea Turner’s tearful father, Secoriya Williamson, told local media in Atlanta, “They say black lives matter … but you killed your own this time. You killed a child. She didn’t do nothing to nobody.”

Of course, there won’t be any BLM protest marches held in honour of Jomo, little Secoriea, or any of the other innocents of any race slain in the ensuing crime wave.

No they won’t because highlighting her death would not cause sports leagues to funnel billions to the BLM front group to elect democrats in fact it might retard such cash. And of course there is the 4th law of media outrage:

The degree of media exposure of the corruption or illegality committed by any individual or organization under investigation is directly proportional to its distance from the media’s ideology.

Now I think the President won’t allow them to downplay this action by BLM but their media/democrat/blm left will do their best.

The truth is they don’t give a damn that Secoriea Turner was murdered, they just regret that it wasn’t done by someone who looks or votes like me.

THEN her life or rather her death would matter.

Update: Dad speaks out:

I predict that none of the money that the NBA, NFL or MLB gave to BLM will be spent remembering her, nor do I expect her name to be painted on any NBA court or her name worn on the jersey of any player as a social justice statement.

Although it would be nice
