On Tuesday March 14th, our illegitimate president issued another illegitimate executive order.  This one is intended to make it more difficult for Americans to purchase guns, by adding more odious hoops they must climb through, in order to exercise one of their most important God-given natural rights.

The changes made by this executive order are more incremental than drastic.  Progressives are firm believers in the philosophy of incrementalism.   Fewer individuals notice if their rights are stripped away by a gradual eroding.  By the time most notice the full effects of the numerous little encroachments it is too late.

The stated purpose of the executive order is discussed in this article, which appeared in The Hill.

President Biden on Tuesday plans to announce an executive order that aims to increase the number of background checks conducted before gun sales, cracking down on firearms dealers who violate federal law.

The goal of the executive order, set to be unveiled during a Biden visit to Monterey Park, Calif., is to move the U.S. as close to a system of universal background checks for all gun sales as possible without requiring legislation from Congress. Biden has called for Congress to pass universal background checks, but such legislation is a non-starter in the GOP-controlled House.

As always with the Biden Regime, the actual implementation of this executive order will go far beyond the stated purpose.  The effects will be far more onerous.  The end result of this executive order will in fact result in universal background checks.

Like all federal gun control measures, background checks are unconstitutional.  They infringe on our right to bear arms.  There exists no provision in the Constitution granting the federal government the authority to conduct background checks on those wishing to purchase a gun. Progressives want to impose universal background checks because they will get to pick and choose who will be allowed to own guns. They get to dig real deep into the lives of everyone applying. They will discriminate against political enemies such as MAGA Republicans.

All executive orders that go beyond the members of the executive branch of the federal government are unconstitutional.  This one is no different.

Buried in the executive order is this deeply unconstitutional provision.

The order will also increase the use of “red flag laws,” which allow a judge to take away a firearm from someone based on the suspicion that they could use it to harm themselves or others. Biden will direct members of his Cabinet to partner with law enforcement, health care providers, educators and other community leaders to encourage the effective use of red flag laws in the states that have them.

Red flag laws violate the Due Process clauses of the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments.

It is well past time for the Republican Party to grow a spine.  Far too often the Grand Old Party has stood on the sidelines while progressives strip away the right to bear arms from the American people.

The more I learn about the police response by the Uvalde Police Department during the tragic shooting, the more infuriated an nauseated I become.

This headline is beyond maddening, Uvalde Cops Made No Attempt To Open the Door Where the Gunman Was Shooting 19 Kids (townhall.com)

According to the San-Antonio Express News, video footage shows that law enforcement allegedly never even attempted to open the door of the elementary school where a gunman barricaded himself in a classroom for 77 minutes while police stood outside.

“Surveillance footage shows that police never tried to open a door to two classrooms at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde in the 77 minutes between the time a gunman entered the rooms and massacred 21 people and officers finally breached the door and killed him,” the paper reported.

There is also reason to believe the door was unlocked to the building, making it easy for law enforcement to enter the school.

I never believed such incompetence was possible, especially in police departments.  This incompetence has a tragically high body count.

The timidity of the leadership of the Uvalde Police Department is just as shocking and infuriating as the incompetence.

It just kepps getting  worse: Uvalde Shooting Could Have Been Stopped In Three Minutes – Louder With Crowder

Texas Department of Public Safety Director Steve McCraw addressed a Texas state senate hearing today. He had more details than the last time we heard from him. Most notably that the shooter could have been put down in three minutes, as opposed to the one hour and fourteen minutes it took.

McGraw testified that, within three minutes, there were enough officers armed and armored up to “isolate, distract, and neutralize” the shooter. The only thing stopping them was the on-scene commander who never made the call.

The security lapses that led up to the shooting were just as infuriating. and far more tragic because this entire tragedy could have been prevented, Uvalde Officials Leave School Unlocked, Ignored Classroom Lock Maintenance Shooting (breitbart.com)

Texas Department of Public Safety Director Steve McCraw revealed critical school safety violations that contributed to the shooter being able to access the Robb Elementary School building and classrooms. The district also failed to correct at least one maintenance issue that kept the specific classroom door where the shooting took place from being lockable.

DPS Director Colonel McCraw told the Texas Senate on Tuesday that the south and west doors were placed into an unlocked setting, State Senator Paul Bettencourt (R-Houston) told Breitbart Texas Tuesday. The doors were routinely left unlocked in direct violation of the Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District’s school safety directive, he related.

Mitch McConnell is the poster child for everything that is wrong with the Republican Party. He is most definitely a Republican in Name Only, yet the Senate Republicans keep electing him to the top role in that legislative body.

I despise the Republican Party almost as much as I despise the Democrat Party, though for vastly different reasons.  I despise the Democrat Party because they are now indistinguishable from the socialist party that is destroying Venezuela.  I despise the Republican party because they constantly enable the Democrats’ destruction of the United States.

As you can see from this article, What the Hell Is Mitch McConnell Doing? (townhall.com), Mitch McConnell is enabling the Democrats’ latest attempt to eradicate the Second Amendment.

Well, it would seem the 60-vote watch regarding these bipartisan anti-gun talks could be over. Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) signaled that he is a ‘yes’ vote on the bipartisan gun control package that’s being hashed out up on the Hill.  It includes funding for mental health and school security, but also provides funds to incentivize expanding red flag laws. The latter is not good news as the guardrails for overreach have not been set. It impacts veterans at disproportionate rates, and some might argue they’re unconstitutional on its face.  Wherever you stand, there’s also, there’s the whole principle aspect of the matter. Forget that we elect Republicans to be the defenders of Second Amendment rights, if you give Democrats an inch—they’re going to be looking to take 1000-mile chunks in the next round.

Before Mitch McConnell, and the rest of the 10 traitor Republicans, who are helping to draft this deeply flawed pile of excrement, vote on this garbage, they should read this article: There Are Many Potential Problems With The Bipartisan Gun Deal (thefederalist.com)

10 Republican senators have agreed to bribe states into participating in passing emergency risk-protection legislation that allows courts to take guns from those deemed a threat to themselves or others.

When carefully written, red flag laws may have merit, but prudence is rare. In states like California, Connecticut, and Maryland, authorities can confiscate weapons merely on the strength of an uncorroborated allegation by family members, coworkers, law enforcement officers, or others without any kind of genuine due process. Will Senate Republicans guarantee that funding for state laws is contingent on laws that have protections for basic due process rights, penalties for bringing frivolous or false charges against gun owners, and assurances that those who receive the proper mental health treatment get their weapons returned, because in many places a “temporary” petition means a lifetime ban? Seems unlikely.

Not that long ago, Democrats wanted to pass a bill that would have stripped anyone on terror watch and no-fly lists — some 40 percent of whom have nothing even tangentially to do with terrorism — of both their Fifth and Second Amendment rights. Republicans have no reason to trust their devotion to due process.

Mitch McConnell will prove to be a much bigger villain in this destruction of the Second Amendment if this passes becsuse he helped to bring this legislation into existence. McConnell Urges GOP to Work with Democrats on Gun Control Legislation (breitbart.com)

Senate Minority Leader Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) on Thursday “encouraged” Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) to work with Senate Democrats on gun control legislation in a reaction to the school shooting in Uvalde, Texas this week.

If this odious bill passes it will anger the base of the Republican Party, which is sick and tired of being betrayed by the spineless sycophants who make up the leadership of the Republican Party.

On Memorial Day, Joe Biden made some very ominous statements, which were cloaked in his customary mistruths and utter gibberish.  These statements should send chills down the spines of supporter of the Second Amendment.  Once you fed the statements into a Joe Biden gibberish and lies decoder they translated into the message “we’re going to ban all guns including hand guns.”

From this quote you can see that Biden will be targeting the Democrat’s usual bugaboo ‘assault weapons.’

I know that it makes no sense to be able to purchase something that can fire up to 300 rounds.  I know it makes — and I know what happened when we had rational action before, back in — when the crime bill was — the law that got passed.  It did significantly cut down mass murders.

And so there’s only one reason for something that can fire, you know, 100 shots.

The fraudulent claim about effects of the unconstitutional assault weapons ban are debunked here.

This next statement exploded across social media and conservative news websites because it is both ominous and entirely devoid of reality.

I mean — and I’ll just conclude with this: Look, when I first started doing hearings on the issue of what rational gun laws should be, it was during a period when I was a senator and the death rate was going up.  Not that many more people were being shot, but the death rate was up.  And when I think of — I’m not sure, I think it was (inaudible) hospital in New York — whatever the largest trauma hospital is.

And I sat with a trauma doctor, and I asked him — I said, “What’s the difference?  Why are so many people…” — and not that many more people were being shot.  This is now 20 years ago, or 25 years.  I said, “Why are they dying?”  And they showed me x-rays.  He said, “A .22-caliber bullet will lodge in the lung, and we can probably get it out, may be able to get it, and save the life.  A 9mm bullet blows the lung out of the body.”

Joe Biden proved that he knows absolutely nothing about the Second Amendment and the rest of the Constitution when he made the following statement:

So the idea of these high-caliber weapons is of — there’s simply no rational basis for it in terms of thinking about self-protection, hunting.  I mean, I just — and remember, the Constitution, the Second Amendment was never absolute.  You couldn’t buy a cannon when the Second Amendment was passed.  You couldn’t go out and purchase a lot of weapons.

And those who — not many are saying it anymore, but there was a while there where people were saying that, you know, the Tree of Liberty is watered with the blood of patriots, and what we have to do is you have to be able to take on the government when they’re wrong.  Well, to do that, you need an F-15, you know?  Or you need an Abrams tank.

Joe Biden has repeated the same mistruth about the First Amendment preventing Americans in early America from owning cannons often.  Each time he uttered it he has been fact checked.

In the second paragraph of that last quote, Joe Biden shows utter contempt for the founding principles of the United States.  He spits on the graves of every founding father of the United States.  Only a petulant tyrant would threaten American citizens with tanks and fighter aircraft for simply standing up for their rights.
