Overwhelming biased news stations is the number one reason why New Englanders lean so far to the left.  The news coverage is so incredibly infected with Democrat propaganda and talking points.  No other point of view is given.  There are few other sources of news available.  Most are unaware that they are being indoctrinated and brainwashed.

The nonstop coverage of the deeply flawed pronouncement that we are experiencing the hottest days ever is proof of how far these stations are willing to push climate change hysteria.

This article is one of two that Channel Five has featured on their local weather webpage for a week: MIT climate scientist urges action after hottest days on record (wcvb.com)

A climate expert at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology is urging action after a new report shows the earth just experienced the hottest days on record.

“I’ve seen a lot of messages that this is yet another wake-up call,” said Dr. Sergey Paltsev. “I’m afraid something is wrong with either us that we don’t hear the alarm clock or something is wrong with the alarm.

Paltsev is the deputy director of the MIT Joint Program on the Science and Policy of Global Change.

“I’m afraid the worst is yet to come,” he said. “So hopefully, this is going to bring attention from policymakers and the general public who will push policymakers to do something more to prevent these extreme events in the future.”

As you can see from the article, the main purpose of this diatribe is to stir up the populace so much we demand our politicians enact something akin to the Green New Deal.

Here are the absurd claim made by supposed scientists.

Earth’s average temperature on Wednesday remained at an unofficial record high set the day before, the latest grim milestone in a week that has seen a series of climate-change-driven extremes.

The average global temperature was 17.18 Celsius (62.9 degrees Fahrenheit), according to the University of Maine’s Climate Reanalyzer, a tool that uses satellite data and computer simulations to measure the world’s condition. That matched a record set Tuesday and came after a previous record of 17.01 Celsius (62.6 degrees Fahrenheit) was set Monday.

“It is an opportunity for us to think about how we can reduce our emissions right now and the tools that we have at hand. There are good pieces of understanding that some of the things we can do can make us both resilient to extreme weather like heat waves and flooding and also reduce our emissions at the same time,” said David Sittenfeld, the director of the Center for the Environment at the Museum of Science.

I am absolutely certain that no Boston News Channel dared to share the truth that is contained in this article: About those “hottest days ever” – HotAir

One obvious problem with the updated narrative is that there are no satellite data from 125,000 years ago. Calculated estimates of current temperatures can’t be fairly compared with guesses of global temperature from thousands of years ago.

A more likely alternative to the 62.6-degree estimate is something around 57.5 degrees. The latter is an average of actual surface temperature measurements taken around the world and processed on a minute-by-minute basis by a website called temperature.global. The numbers have been steady this year, with no spike in July.

Moreover, the notion of “average global temperature” is meaningless. Average global temperature is a concept invented by and for the global-warming hypothesis. It is more a political concept than a scientific one. The Earth and its atmosphere is large and diverse, and no place is meaningfully average.

Nor this article: Data Shows We’re NOT Seeing Record Heat – CO2 Coalition

Paulo Ceppi, a climate scientist at London’s Grantham Institute stated: “It hasn’t been this warm since at least 125,000 years ago, which was the previous interglacial.” And, of course, it was reported that it was our fault due to our “sins of emission.”

This didn’t meet the smell test for the scientists at the CO2 Coalition. We know that previous warm periods were warmer than our modern temperatures. For example, during the Roman Warm Period there was citrus being grown in the north of England and barley was grown by Vikings on Greenland 1,000 years ago. Why aren’t they grown there now? It’s quite simple: Lower modern temperatures.

For decades the political has left waged a guerilla style war here in the United States.  It was a cultural war fought with destructive ideas rather than the type of war fought with guns and other physical weapons.  It was a war they fought unopposed because most of us on the political right did not think this conflict was worth our attention.  We were so very wrong.

A small minority of us Conservatives and Libertarians saw what was taking place and tried desperately to raise the alarm.  We were all but ignored.

Now that this culture war is all but won by the Marxist Left, a sizable percentage of those of us on the Right have finally taken notice and have begin to fight back.  The hugely effective boycott of Bud Light is strong evidence that we have effective weapons in our arsenal.

The political left has targeted children from the very beginning.  This article explains the two fold rational behind this.

Leftists aren’t building a robust generation of people who can fight wars and control countries. Instead, they are creating a broken generation of people who will be physically and mentally dependent on government care for the rest of their lives.

Lenin understood how important children are to any revolution. The most famous quotation attributed to him is, “Give us the child for eight years, and it will be a Bolshevik forever.” An alternative is, “Give me just one generation of youth, and I’ll transform the whole world.”

As you can see from this article, the strategy employed by the left was devious and effective.

Much as America’s enemies historically used its (formerly) free press and the nature of its open society against it, Constitution-disdaining leftists used conservatives’ adherence to the Constitution — and its mandate for limited government, the rule of law, and equal justice under that law — against them in their now successful bid to get control over virtually all of the country’s institutions and levers of power.

They now ruthlessly use the self-same institutions they used to protest — but now own — to spy on, castigate, deplatform, silence, slander, “cancel,” and even incarcerate those with whom they disagree.  They eschew dialogue and debate and simply scream “racist!” or “transphobe!” at any- and everyone who dares to dissent from their preposterous narrative.

Corporate media proved to be the most effective arsenal the left employed in this culture war.

IF you can control the information flow, you can control an entire society. Gone are the days of trusting your reporters and news outlets to provide unbiased and factual pieces to keep you informed on the state of your country.

Perhaps I’ve watched too many “X-Files” episodes, but I now embrace the same principle of Fox Mulder: trust no one. To get to the bottom of any story as a citizen, you’d have to read reports of the same incident on at least 30 different outlets to get a sliver of truth.

The hard reality is that traditional media outlets have been not just complicit, but happy little manipulation warriors bent on ensuring your mind and views fall in line with their chosen narrative.

Over the last decade, their narrative of choice: You’re a racist.

According to Lexus Nexus, there has been a marked increase in specific phrases and words since 2014. As an example, below is a taste of some of these terms: white privilege, system racism, diversity and inclusion, unconscious bias, whiteness, intersectionality, diversity training, police brutality

How sharp is this increase? For example, between 2011 and 2019, the New York Times and Washington Post increased using words like ‘racist,’ ‘racists,’ and ‘racism’ increased by over 700% and 1,000%, respectively.

Furthermore, between 2013 and 2019, the same two publications increased their usage of terms like ‘systemic racism,’ ‘structural racism,’ and ‘institutional racism’ by 1,000%. And during that same timeframe, the two liberal heavyweights of print used ‘white privilege’ and ‘racial privilege’ at an increased rate of 1,200% and 1,500%, respectively.

College campuses have also been the primary battlefields where this culture war has been fought and won by the left.  Checkout this article.

Hundreds of professors at the University of North Carolina signed a public letter Tuesday opposing legislation that would require university students to take courses on America’s government and founding documents.

The 673 UNC Chapel Hill professors revealed the public letter Tuesday, arguing the new courses and another bill in the North Carolina House of Representatives would constitute an infringement on the university’s “academic freedom.”

The first piece of legislation, House Bill 96, would require students to take a 3 credit-hour course covering America’s founding and history. Required reading for the course would include the U.S. Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, the Emancipation Proclamation, at least five essays from the Federalist Papers, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s Letter from Birmingham Jail and the Gettysburg Address.

The author if this American Thinker article has it absolutely correct.

Put simply, the big mistake in thinking the culture war isn’t the most critical issue heading into 2024 is that all of American politics is now one big culture war. The culture war is the only issue because the cultural war is everything now. When one side stakes its claim to political power on offering abortion up until birth and transgender operations for 8-year-olds, and holds out these policies as proof of its moral authority, we’re way past arguing over how to get the economy back on track. There’s no going back to that kind of politics.

Tucker Carlson hit on this at the end of his big speech at Heritage recently. He compared the values of the political left to the values of the Aztecs, who sacrificed children to their bloodthirsty gods — and he wasn’t wrong.

Progressives here in the United States have been working tirelessly since the mid 1960s to tear down all of the institutions and philosophies that served as the bedrock of this nation.  They employed a philosophical wrecking ball that was based on the writings of Karl Marx, who firmly believed in tearing down and destroying all that was traditional, all that led to prosperity, or all that led to freedom for individuals.

That philosophical wrecking ball is known as deconstructionism.  It is the dismantling of all political philosophies that are built upon individualism, which is the polar opposite of the collectivism espoused by Karl Marx.

Deconstructionists first endeavored to destroy the fundamental truths that give reality its structure.  Marxists do not believe in objective truth.  They believe that all reality is malleable.   If reality is malleable then people are extremely malleable.

Next they worked at destroying language.  Words no longer have fixed meanings.  Only the meanings assigned by the reader, not the author have any value.  All words that progressives deemed offensive were erased under the banner of political correctness.

United States history drew the full wrath of  deconstructionists because this nation, which was the freest and most prosperous that ever existed for over 150 years, was built on a foundation of individual liberty.  Slavery, which was an evil practiced by every nation and culture at the time of America’s founding, became our Original Sin, a sin that erased all good that we ever accomplished.  A sin that only we bore any blame for.

Next up on the chopping block was science. All fundamental scientific truths were dismantled.   Climate change started as a pseudo science.  Now it is the de facto religion of the left.  Biological sex has been replaced by gender fluidity.

The political left has run amok with this deconstructionism unchecked for too many decades.  It is most likely too late to repair the damage. We surrendered the culture war to them and now we are paying a very hefty price.

I have been a very outspoken critic of progressive indoctrination and progressive revisionist history.  Both have done tremendous harm to college students since the mid 1960s, when they were unleashed like a plague.  Progressives used these two destructive strategies as tools to brainwash impressionable youth, of college and school age, into believing collectivism is superior to individualism.

Individualism is one of the most important founding principle of the United States.  In order to destroy our national love of individual liberty, progressives knew they must first destroy our history.

I knew that progressives have been effective at their schemes to condition the last two generations based on conversations I’ve had with large numbers of individuals, news coverage on conservative libertarian sites, and the past couple of elections.  It wasn’t until I saw this article, Poll: Support for Traditional American Values, Patriotism Declines (breitbart.com), that I knew how exceedingly effective their brainwashing has been.

Beginning with patriotism, only 38 percent of Americans say it is “very important” to them, down from 61 percent in 2019 and 70 percent in 1998. Thirty-five percent say patriotism is “somewhat important,” and 27 percent say it is “not that important (16 percent) and “not at all important” (11 percent).

Broken down by political affiliation, Republicans (59 percent) are more likely than Democrats (23 percent) and independents (29 percent) to rank patriotism as a “very important” value. Older adults are also more likely to place more importance on patriotism than young adults. Twenty-three percent of adults under 30 say patriotism is “very important” compared to 59 percent of seniors ages 65 and older.

Respondents were also asked about how they view the United States. Twenty-one percent say the United States “stands above all countries in the world,” 50 percent say it is “one of the greatest countries in the world, along with some others,” and 27 percent say “there are other countries better than the United States.” The percentage of Americans who believe other countries are better than the U.S. rose to 27 percent from 19 percent in 2016.

Have we reached the point of no return?  Is there any hope of regaining control over our institutions of learning?   I think it very well may be no hope, but we must immediately try, and our effort must be a Herculean effort.
