Ok I’m the Justice Department, am I concerned about the latest terror plot foiled? Am I concentrating on Wikileaks and keeping secrets safe? Apparently If I’m Eric Holder I have other priories:

HEADLINE: Holder reassures Muslims of DOJ’s anti-bias focus

Attorney General Eric Holder reiterated his resolve to prosecute hate crimes while standing behind the methods used in anti-terrorism cases during a speech Friday night before a Muslim advocacy group near San Francisco.

You know I really need to send the MSM a thank you card. It’s almost as if they knew Pam Geller was going to be my guest today on the radio and they wanted to make sure I had a fresh story to tell.

The GOP may be the enemy but the Flemish Menace continues to plot:

A Virginia man has been arrested for allegedly trying to help Al Qaeda plan multiple bombings around the nation’s capital, according to U.S. officials.

Farooque Ahmed, 34, of Ashburn, Va., was arrested today by the FBI and charged with providing material support to terrorists and collecting information for a terrorist attack.

Farooque Ahmed? HA we know his real name is: Dirk Jenkin Cornelis Niclays Van Dyke, yet another radical lee-lander and nothing at all to do with Al Qaeda or Islam which we all know is actually a religion of peace

They can’t fool us.

Answer: No More than two of them

I was perusing the net this morning when I found an open thread at Ace’s place that linked to this series of vintage ads.

It is pretty clear that none of those ads would pass muster in the west today, but looking that them a 2nd time. It would seem to me that most of them would pass muster in the Islamic world.

So my question is this: Look at the vintage ads in the link and tell me how many would be unacceptable in the Middle east?

In fact let’s have a poll

I think it’s an interesting question

When you hear about the 1st century martyrs of the Church you sometimes wonder if you would have the same courage as them. Nobody has to wonder about these folks:

Saudi police raided a secret Catholic mass in Riyadh last week and arrested a dozen Filipinos and a Catholic priest

Considering that Saudi Arabia is well-known for its highly enlightened legal system it takes a lot of guts to attend such a mass and even more to be the priest serving it.

And if you think the time of Christian Martyrdom is long over think again.
