Most Americans had great respect for the Federal Bureau of Investigation.  That changed for the negative drastically during Obama Administration.  President Obama had a particularly bad habit of injecting progressive politics into all levels of the Federal Government, including law enforcement and intelligence agencies.  Other presidents had done this to some extent, however, Obama proved to be the undisputed grand master.  The FBI became an attack dog for progressives

President Trump tried in vain to drain the swamp.  He was unsuccessful at disbanding the deep state, despite his best efforts.  While Trump was in office the deep state  repeatedly tried to undermine his presidency. 

Conservatives and Libertarians claimed vociferously that the Deep State played a major role in the theft of the 2020 presidential election from President Trump.  Confirmation of this came this past week.  Check out this Newsbusters article for the details.

Zuckerberg went on Rogan’s podcast Aug. 25, and Rogan asked him about how Facebook deals with supposed “misinformation,” specifically highlighting the Hunter Biden laptop scandal. Big Tech censored the Biden scandal just before the 2020 election, an action which the Media Research Center revealed helped Big Media and Big Tech steal the 2020 election for President Joe Biden. Zuckerberg readily admitted that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) had pressured his platform to censor content.

Mark Zuckerberg elaborated in great detail about what took place.

“I mean, basically the background here is the FBI, I think, basically came to us, [to] some folks on our team, and was like, ‘Hey, umm, just so you know, like, you should be on high alert. There was—we thought that there was a lot of Russian propaganda in the 2016 election. We have it on notice that basically there’s about to be some kind of dump of, of—um, uh—that’s similar to that. So just be vigilant.’”

“What we do is we have, um—if something is reported to us as potentially, um, misinformation, important misinformation— We also have a third-party fact-checking program. We don’t want to be deciding what’s true and false. And for the, I think it was, five or seven days when it was basically being, um, being determined whether it was false, um, the distribution on Facebook was decreased, but people were still allowed to share it.”

Zuckerberg then explained how Facebook suppressed the Hunter Biden laptop story while the platform’s fact-checkers reviewed it. “The ranking on [Facebook’s] newsfeed was a little bit less,” Zuckerberg said. “So, fewer people saw it than would have otherwise.”

Zuckerberg then attempted to defend Facebook’s biased censorship. “We just kind of thought, hey, look, if the FBI—which, I still view as a legitimate institution in this country; it’s a very professional law enforcement — they come to us and tell us that we need to be on guard about something, then I want to take that seriously.”

Rogan inquired if the FBI had asked for censorship of the Hunter Biden scandal specifically. “Did they specifically say you needed to be on guard about that story?” asked Rogan. “No. I don’t remember if it was that specifically, but it was—it basically fit the pattern,” Zuckerberg answered evasively.

The FBI’s response to this scandal, as documented in this Political Insider article, made this disturbing scandal so much worse.

The FBI issued a statement following Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s admission that Facebook limited exposure of Hunter Biden laptop news prior to the 2020 presidential election after receiving a warning from the bureau to be on the lookout for Russian propaganda.

In their response, the agency casually admitted it “routinely notifies” companies and social media platforms about potential threats.

“The FBI routinely notifies U.S. private sector entities, including social media providers, of potential threat information, so that they can decide how to better defend against threats,”

Representative Thomas Massie was absolutely correct with this tweet:

This is a grave violation of the First Amendment, something the Biden holds in contempt. Check out this article from the Federalist as proof of that statement.

Documents Berenson obtained during the discovery phase of the lawsuit he filed against Twitter illustrate how the government actively works to shut down free speech on issues of public interest. Berenson’s criticisms of the Covid vaccines, which he claimed were ineffective and possibly harmful, came exactly at the time when the federal government, as well as many states and cities, were using every available coercive means at their disposal to force Americans to take them. As such, his speech was deemed extremist and needed to be suppressed to save lives during the pandemic. 

Limited government, individual rights, free market capitalism, religious freedom, the right to bear arms, and all of the rest of the founding principles of the United States are the polar opposites of the Marxist principles that are at the very core of Progressivism. 

Democrats are trying to establish Progressivism as the official religion of the United States.  Progressivism is a collectivist philosophy, like all philosophies that are based on the principles of Karl Marx.  Marxist political philosophies are all political religions, where all individuals are commanded to follow a very strict code of action, speech, and belief. 

Because Progressivism is a political religion, its adherents demand that all other beliefs systems must be excised from the political landscape of the United States.  It is vitally important to progressives that the founding principles of the United States be expunged from the American people because these principles not only created the freest and most prosperous nation that ever existed, they also created a nation of free individuals who value their freedom.   Progressivism, and all other collectivist philosophies, is built upon a foundation of unthinking fleshy robots, who are slaves to the almighty State.

For decades, progressives have been indoctrinating college students into believing that our founding principles are nothing but an oppressive philosophy created by racist, slave owning, evil white guys.  This approach has born tremendous fruit. Just under half of all Americans now despise this nation.

Progressives created such an overwhelming state of fear over the  Whuhan Flu to convince a rather depressing percentage of the population of the US to abandon all of their God-given natural rights.  It is essential to progressives that the people of the United States abandon our founding principles because progressives are very far along in the process of turning the United States into a Socialist Democracy.

Those few of us who still treasure the founding principles are a direct threat to the grand scheme progressives are implementing.  Because of this, progressives are hell bent on silencing all lovers of freedom and liberty.  The latest scheme by the Biden Regime to silence us was uncovered by Project Veritas

Project Veritas released a newly leaked document today provided by an FBI whistleblower, which shows how the Bureau classifies American citizens it deems to be potential “Militia Violent Extremists” [MVEs].

In the document, the FBI cites symbols, images, phrases, events, and individuals that agents should look out for when identifying alleged domestic terrorists.

The “Unclassified/Law Enforcement Sensitive” document says it is for “FBI Internal Use Only.”

Of note, under the “Symbols” section, is a prominent citation of the Second Amendment, where it explains that “MVEs justify their existence with the Second Amendment, due to the mention of a ‘well regulated Militia,’ as well as the right to bear arms.”

Right below that, under the “Commonly Referenced Historical Imagery and Quotes” section, Revolutionary War images such as the Gadsden Flag and the Betsy Ross Flag are listed. Each flag displayed in the document comes with a brief description of what it means.

According to this odious FBI document, quotes by Thomas Jefferson are verboten.  In response I shared the following quote by Thomas Jefferson from the Declaration of Independence:

governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed; that whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles, and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness

I’m sure that sharing that quote on social media earned me more entries on federal government watch lists.  If that is true, I would see that as a badge of honor.

Like most of us who aren’t radical leftists, I am outraged by the shameful and outrageous raid by the FBI under the Biden regime on President Trump’s residence at Mar-a-Lago.  Like the vast majority of my Conservative and Libertarian friends, I immediately took to social media to vent my extreme displeasure at that contemptible display of government corruption and overreach.

I have never seen such an instantaneous outpouring of rage.  Most of what I saw was extremely helpful when viewed through the perspective of trying to win converts among the great many moderates and fence sitters. Too much of what I saw, however, was not helpful at all.  No matter how despicable the actions of the Biden regime are, calls for revolution and violence are counterproductive in the extreme.

This eloquent and powerful Tweet by Ben Carson is a perfect example ot a social media post the will win the battle of ideas.

This Tweet by Rand Paul works because it effectively illustrates the corruption and double standards of the Biden regime.

A measured amount of emotion and mockery can also create an effective political weapon.

I found this article from The Federalist to be extremely thought provoking and informative.   

In 2016, Donald Trump’s election doomed Merrick Garland’s shot at a lifetime appointment to the highest court in the land. Four years later, Garland oversaw a raid on the former president’s personal home.

The Department of Justice refused to confirm that Attorney General Garland had personally signed off on Monday’s raid on Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s Palm Beach home, but it seems impossible that such an outrageous move could be made without approval from the top. Since Garland hasn’t fired every agent involved and proclaimed their disgrace from the rooftops, it’s safe to assume the raid had Garland’s blessing — in which case, it was one of the most glaring acts of political revenge in recent memory. How can anyone be expected to believe Garland is acting as a neutral arbiter of justice here?

So many on social media are trying to puzzle out the real motives behind this unsettling raid.  I was until I came across this article, Russia Hoaxer Spills the Beans, Reveals What the FBI Raid Is Really All About (townhall.com)

Marc Elias, architect of the Russia collusion hoax — who hired Fusion GPS to produce the fake dossier about President Trump, which led to illegal FISA warrants against Trump campaign officials and a lengthy Special Counsel investigation — and noted attempter of election rigging, claimed that the “media is missing the really, really big reason why the raid today is a potential blockbuster in American politics.” And then he spilled the beans on what was really the motivation behind the raid:

Whoever, having the custody of any such record, proceeding, map, book, document, paper, or other thing, willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, falsifies, or destroys the same, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both; and shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States. As used in this subsection, the term “office” does not include the office held by any person as a retired officer of the Armed Forces of the United States.

The constitutionally challenged Biden regime does not grasp the fact that a law cannot override Article II of the Constitution, which alone sets the requirements for president.

A very high percentage of the moderates and fence sitters have become uneasy about the corruption and overreach they have witnessed ever since Joe Biden was installed in the White House.  Sharing articles such as this will win converts, Criminalizing Opposition To The Regime Is How The Republic Ends (thefederalist.com)

An indictment of former President Donald Trump would be a breathtakingly authoritarian turn. It would amount to the U.S. security state refusing to accept “no” from America’s voters yet again. An indictment would be an unelected and unaccountable federal agency overruling voters’ two-time rejection of impeachment through their elected representatives.

This is the core danger of the administrative state: Its now open propensity to go rogue. It is apparently hellbent now on turning the United States into a banana republic.

Outside of sheer incompetence, a theme has emerged from the Joe Biden administration. When they need help, the White House calls on people they deem to be experts. 

Here’s a dirty secret of politics, or if your prefer, of advancing a preferred narrative. Anyone can find an “expert,” more on them in a bit, to support any opinion. It works in journalism too, the media wing of the Democrat Party.

When the discovery of the Hunter Biden laptop was revealed by the New York Post nearly two years ago–the mainstream media, social media, and of course the Biden campaign immediately moved to denounce it. The casus belli for journalists, Facebook, Twitter, and the like–Biden brought this up in a presidential debate–was that its emergence three weeks before Election Day in 2020 had “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation,” according to 51 former national security experts, led by James Clapper, a director of National Intelligence under Barack Obama. Every one of these “experts” either lied, signed on to something they knew little about, or just simply wanted to do whatever it took to prevent the reelection of Donald J. Trump. 

Eighteen months later, the New York Times admitted Hunter’s laptop, which provided voluminous evidence of his influence peddling centered on his being the son of a powerful politician, was authentic. The 51 experts can expect subpoenas from the House Judiciary Committee next year, assuming the Republicans take control of the House. Every one of these “experts” should have their security clearances permanently revoked.

Biden of course won the election. As a result of his policies, such as cancelling the construction of the Keystone XL pipeline, blocking new permits for drilling on federal land, gasoline prices soared and remain high. Although the economy was well into recovery mode two years ago, Biden signed into law the unfunded American Rescue Plan. Many experts at the time claimed it would not fuel inflation. They were wrong. Just as those national security “experts” were wrong on Hunter’s laptop. 

When inflation began its ascent, the White House cited 15 Nobel laureates in economics who said that Biden’s Build Back Better bill, enacted in late 2021, would not fuel inflation. They were wrong too. Inflation is now at levels not seen since the early 1980s. Last year Biden and other “experts” were saying inflation was “transitory.” Liberals reading this post will blame inflation on the War in Ukraine, you know, “Putin’s price hike.” Sure, the war likely has an effect on inflation, but the scourge was with us before Russia’s invasion Ukraine. 

Build Back Better was originally part of a much larger bill, the green energy stuff was split off and later discarded after Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) said he wouldn’t support it. Well, Build Back Better Part Two is back, laughably renamed the Inflation Reduction Act. And to bolster its support, the Biden White House has–are you ready?–called on experts, this time, four former Democratic Treasury secretaries and one Republican, who claim, among other things, that the Inflation Reduction Act will “fight inflation” One of those ex-Treasury secretaries is Larry Summers, who warned last year the Biden White House, “We’re taking very substantial risks on the inflation side.” 

A good journalist would track down Summers and ask him specifics on why this bill really will fight inflation.

Earlier I mentioned that journalists have a role in advancing political narratives. For example, at Forbes, Rhett Buttle offers a slobbering French kiss of propaganda, which is accompanied by this headline, “Experts Agree: The Inflation Reduction Act Accomplishes A Lot For Small Business And Working Families.” While late in the piece Buttle manages to write about the bill, “some who represent select corporate interests in Washington don’t completely agree” with the hype. But if Buttle was truly a journalist, he would have tracked down opponents of the Inflation Reduction Act and presented a balanced article.

Then again, real journalism is dead. Twenty years ago such a piece as the one written by Buttle would contain the sub-headline, “news analysis,” assuming a magazine like Forbes would even publish it. I took some journalism classes at the University of Illinois. If I turned in such an article for an assignment, a professor would have deservedly given me an “F,” enhanced by this underlined comment written in red ink, “This garbage reads like a press release.”

But Biden’s new batch of experts have spoken: The Inflation Reduction Act, which the Senate will vote on Sunday afternoon, will “fight inflation.”

Watch your wallet. Watch the cash in it lose its value.
