The Biden Regime just arrested a reporter for his coverage of January 6th

Joe Biden and his handlers have demonstrated remarkable contempt for the United States Constitution, especially the Bill of Rights.  They have routinely trampled on our governing document and the rights of Americans.  This regime of Marxists has attempted to use January 6th as a cudgel to bludgeon Trump supporters into submission.  Biden’s Justice Department has imprisoned many who simply attended the J6 rally and then strolled through the Capitol after the doors were unlocked.

Just this past week the Biden Regime showed extreme contempt for the First and Sixth Amendments: FBI Plans To Arrest Reporter Without Telling Him What Charges He’s Facing (thefederalist.com)

The FBI is expected to arrest a Blaze Media reporter on Friday for what appears to be his coverage of demonstrations at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, without informing him of what charges he’s facing.

On Tuesday, investigative reporter Steve Baker revealed that following months of delay, federal authorities informed his legal team there is a signed warrant for his arrest and that he is to self-surrender for “alleged J6 crimes” in Dallas, Texas, on Friday morning. Baker has been at the forefront of reporting on the more questionable aspects of the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol.

While unlikely to receive significant attention from America’s “democracy dies in darkness” media, the targeting of Baker appears to be in response to his J6 coverage and represents a startling development in which the federal government now seemingly prosecutes journalists for exercising their First Amendment rights. Baker’s ongoing matter is the latest in a long line of cases in which the FBI and Biden DOJ have prosecuted non-violent individuals related to the J6 demonstrations.

The Biden Regime did in fact arrest Mr. Baker after The Federalist article was posted.  This should have resulted in an onslaught of outrage by every single news outlet here in the United States.  The lack of outrage from the news media proves just how much they worship the Biden Regime.  This reaction by NBC was particularly disturbing: NBC News Trivializes Blaze Reporter’s Authoritarian Arrest By FBI (thefederalist.com)

As part of its undeclared role as a mouthpiece for President Biden and his administration, NBC News is trying to whitewash the FBI’s arrest of a Blaze Media reporter for covering the Jan. 6, 2021, demonstrations at the U.S. Capitol.

Rather than highlight the Vladimir Putin-like behavior of the Biden administration arresting a journalist for exercising his First Amendment rights, NBC’s “news” division attempted to delegitimize Baker by referring to him as a “libertarian writer” and “musician,” who “led a David Bowie tribute band” and just so happens to write for The Blaze.

“Musician and libertarian writer who works for ‘The Blaze’ arrested on Jan. 6 charges,” the NBC News headline blared. The article’s author, NBC News justice reporter Ryan J. Reilly, waited until the 22nd paragraph to inform readers that Baker is the first Jan.6 defendant “who was working for an established media company at the time of his arrest.”

This Christian Nationalism slur is dangerous

Well over a century ago Progressives began a systematic dismantling of the United States   These Marxists chose to operate slowly, by stealth and subterfuge to accomplish their fundamental transformation of our Constitutional Republic into a Socialist Democracy.  To accomplish this progressives have incrementally weakened all of the pillars supporting this great nation.  The founding principles, the Constitution, and the Christian heritage of the United States have particularly drawn the ire of the American political left.  With one video Heidi Przybyla of Politico demonstrated remarkable ignorance in her attempt to denigrate all three of these fundamental pillars.

HEIDI PRZYBYLA: I talked with a lot of experts on this and I have seen it with my reporting, Michael, which is that the base of the Republican Party has shifted. Remember when Trump ran in 2016, a lot of the mainline evangelicals wanted nothing to do with the divorced real estate mogul who cheated on his wife with a porn star, and all of that.

So what happened was that he was surrounded by this more extremist element. We are going to hear words like Christian nationalism, like the “new apostolic reformation.” These are groups that you should get very schooled on because they have a lot of power in Trump’s circle. And the one thing that unites all of them because there’s many different groups orbiting Trump.

But the thing that unites them as Christian nationalists, not Christians because Christian nationalists are very different, is that they believe that our rights as Americans and as all human beings do not come from any Earthly authority. They don’t come from Congress, from the Supreme Court, they come from God. The problem with that is that they are determining, men, are determining what God is telling them. In the past, that so-called “natural law,” it is a pillar of catholicism for instance, it has been used for good in social justice campaigns. Martin Luther King evoked it in talking about civil rights.

But now you have an extremist element of conservative Christians, who say that this applies specifically to issues including abortion, gay marriage, and it is going much further than that as you see, for instance, with the ruling in Alabama, this week that judges connected to the dominionist faction, and talking about a lot of other issues including surrogacy, IVF, sex education in schools, there’s a lot in addition.

Heidi Przybyla must not have been paying attention in history class when they discussed the Declaration of Independence.  Considering the abysmal state of our educational system it is also likely that that document was never discussed in any school she attended.

Heidi Przybyla’s Christian Nationalism slur is particularly dangerous because it is meant to undermine one of our Constitution’s most important pillars, that of God-given Natural Rights. Heidi Przybyla is far from alone in her use of the Christian Nationalism slur. It has become all the rage on progressive faux news sites in an attempt to intimidate lovers of liberty into silence.

The political left is a vast echo chamber where ideology greatly outweighs reality, groupthink has replaced individual awareness.  Basic scientific truths do not exist at all, nor do philosophical and moral truths, because of this reality is malleable.  It is impossible to live in environment devoid of reality without experiencing a breakdown of sanity. 

These Marxists that call themselves Progressives, Liberals, or Democrats have infested all of the major institutions here in the United States and across the world.  Because of this the world is descending into a chaos caused by this ideologically driven abandonment of reality.

A health official in the United Kingdom claimed that breast milk from biological males who “transitioned” to live as women is just as healthy as breast milk from a female who has given birth. 

The Telegraph reported this week that a leaked letter from a University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust medical director claims that breast milk produced by “trans women” as a result of taking so-called “gender-affirming” drugs is “comparable to that produced [by a mother] following the birth of a baby.”

This insanity is now endangering new born infants.

Lottie Moore, who works at the think tank Policy Exchange, told The Telegraph that the letter is “unbalanced” and “naïve in its assertion that the secretions produced by a male on hormones can nourish an infant in the way a mother’s breast milk can.” 

“A child’s welfare must always take precedence over identity politics and contested belief systems that are not evidence-based. The NHS should not be indulging in this nonsense,” Moore added.

A male athlete who identifies as a woman reportedly injured three female athletes in a girls’ basketball game earlier this month. As a result, the game ended in a forfeit.

The trans-identifying player for KIPP Academy in Massachusetts reportedly injured three girls at Collegiate Charter School of Lowell before halftime on Feb. 8. According to The Daily Wire, the male player who thinks he’s a girl is six feet tall and has facial hair. KIPP has reportedly refused to confirm the player’s gender.

The reaction from the offending school is pure insanity.

“The Charter School supports this decision and reiterates its values of both inclusivity and safety for all students,” the statement added. “We take the standards set by the MIAA and our Board of Trustees seriously and strive to uphold them on and off the court. We also follow the guidance from the MIAA and state laws regarding equity and access for all student-athletes.”

The statement omits the fact that these female athletes were injured by a male who was allowed to play against them in the name of “inclusion.”

“A man hitting a woman used to be called domestic abuse. Now it’s called brave,” women’s sports advocate Riley Gaines said on X.

The media has a lot to answer for – namely, for making people (including children) so petrified of an impending climate apocalypse they can barely function in daily life.

In a recent Bloomberg article, reporters interviewed therapist Caroline Hickman, who described using exposure therapy to help a child who was afraid of dogs. However, she was reluctant to see climate anxiety as the same type of irrational fear. 

“We don’t 100% know how to deal with it,” she said, adding that “it would be a huge mistake to try and treat it like other anxieties that we are very familiar with that have been around for decades. This one is much, much worse.”

…Climate anxiety disrupts the ability to function day to day. Children and young people in this category feel alienation from friends and family, distress when thinking about the future and intrusive thoughts about who will survive, according to Hickman’s research. Patients obsessively check for extreme weather, read climate change studies and pursue radical activism. Some, devastatingly, consider suicide as the only solution.

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) began funding research into trash-fed crickets as an alternative to conventional and “unsustainable” protein production in July 2023, a federal grant listing shows.

The $130,000 grant supports research that “addresses the need for more cost-efficient production of crickets as a sustainable protein source,” according to the listing. Specifically, the grant will support research into using municipal landfill waste to feed crickets that will later be harvested for human consumption.

USDA awarded the grant to Mighty Cricket Inc., a private firm that sells cricket flour, cricket protein powder and cricket oatmeal. The agency believes that using landfill waste to feed crickets could help the firm “procure cricket feed at lower cost than what is available on the market,” leading to savings that could then be passed along to the consumer.

USDA’s grant listing criticizes traditional animal farming for being too resource-intensive and too harsh on the environment.

Hey Progressives Nudge This

A small percentage of Leftists, which includes Progressives, Socialists, Communists, and Fascists, see themselves as elite shepherds to the remainder of the population. These self appointed masters of the universe believe they have the right to rule over the masses who they believe to be unwashed and brainless.  These privileged leftists believe they are Pavlov and the common folk are the dog.

It is obvious that the Democratic Party is infested with this class of elitist Marxists   The paternalistic nature of the laws and edicts crammed down the throats of Americans by Democrats is a dead giveaway. 

Democrats found that most Americans were more resistant to outright rule by leftist masters than those that had never lived in the land of the free.  The Democrats learned they had to be more subtle in their attempts to impose their rule on Americans.  Bludgeoning Americans into submission did not work.  They found that nudging us in the direction they chose for us was more effective.  Barack Obama implemented the philosophy of nudge on the federal level.  He used the federal bureaucracy to infect the rest of the nation with this vile crap. When Trump took office this nudge nonsense faded into the background.  When I saw this article, The Obama ‘Nudge Unit’ Rides Again – American Thinker, I knew that we would soon be up to our eyeballs in this Marxist crap again.

The Biden-Harris Administration formally rechartered the Social and Behavioral Sciences Subcommittee (SBS) of the Committee on Science of the National Science and Technology Council in April 2022. The SBS coordinates policy action to address pressing social issues and Biden-Harris Administration priorities using the tools and insights of the social and behavioral sciences.

The social and behavioral sciences offer unique tools for describing, understanding, and addressing societal challenges, and assessing and evaluating initiatives, programs, and policies. As described in its Charter, the SBS leverages these tools to advance the Biden-Harris Administration’s agenda, to carry out short-term, high-priority tasks, and to lay the groundwork for longer-term coordination of agency efforts related to the social and behavioral sciences. The first short-term task of the SBS is to deliver a whole-of-government framework or “blueprint” for the use of social and behavioral science research to advance evidence-based policymaking by April 30, 2023.

The SBS is co-chaired by the Office of Science and Technology Policy, the National Science Foundation, and the National Institutes of Health, and comprises membership from a diverse range of Agencies, Departments, and Executive Offices. It provides a forum for collaborative, interagency work towards advancing equity through the activation of social and behavioral science evidence

This article, Obama’s effort to ‘nudge’ America (politico.com), contains a wealth of background information from the Obama era. It was not surprising to me that the author of this Politico article practically purred with delight as he describes this Marxist brainwashing because of how far to the left Politico leans.

For the past year, the Obama administration has been running an experiment: Is it possible to make policy more effective by using psychology on citizens?

The nickname is “nudging”—the idea that policymakers can change people’s behavior just by presenting choices or information differently. The classic example is requiring people to opt out of being an organ donor, instead of opting in, when they sign up for a driver’s license. Without any change in rules, the small tweak has boosted the number of registered organ donors in many states.

Nudging has gained a lot of high-profile advocates, including behavioral-law guru Cass Sunstein and former budget czar Peter Orszag. Not everyone likes the idea—“the behaviorists are saying that you, consumer, are stupid,” said Bill Shughart, a professor of public choice at Utah State University—but President Obama was intrigued enough that he actually hired Sunstein, a law professor at Harvard who co-wrote the best-known book about the topic, “Nudge.”

The president officially adopted the idea last year when he launched the White House’s Social and Behavioral Science Team (SBST), a cross-agency effort to bring behavioral science research into the policymaking process

OK, but is this really nudging?

The team’s projects were definitely a form of prodding—giving people little pokes to improve their behavior in some way. But the more muscular form of “nudge” involves what experts call changing the “choice architecture”—automatically enrolling employees in an optional 401(k), for instance, or making organ donors opt out.

A nudge, as we will use the term, is any aspect of the choice architecture that alters people’s behavior in a predictable way without forbidding any options or significantly changing their economic incentives. This Nudge business is absolutely repugnant to the text and spirit of the Constitution. It reeks of collectivism whereas the Constitution was written to protect the liberty of each and every individual living in the United States.
