Morning Joe gets full marks for reporting on the South Park business, pointing out the threats, the difference between the way Mohammad was treated vs Christ, the foolishness of pretending that what was said wasn’t a threat, and the extra censorship on the rebroadcast. All very important, glad to see it happen.

However it was put under Wille Geist’s “News you Can’t use” section.

News you can’t use? Let me get this straight, Bill Clinton tries to link the Tea Parties to Tim McVeigh, that is fine. Radical Islam who you might have heard has a bit of history, “warning” south park is News you can’t use?

I suppose I should take what I can get from MSNBC, ya gotta walk before you run.

Update: Glenn has the line of the week: “Those who have no backbone will do the bidding of those who do.”

…but did I just hear somebody (Sam Stein) on Morning Joe suggest that the media gave Barack Obama scrutiny when the reverend Wright stuff came out? Somehow nobody bothered to call him on it.

I’m sure I must still be dreaming and when I wake up the young fellow to Pat’s left who’s face I don’t recognize is going to take that back.

The context is Rubio’s use of a GOP credit card and the media is running whole hog on it in the hopes of dropping him but let me give you a clue, ain’t gonna happen. If Marco wasn’t winning in a walk we wouldn’t be seeing this period.

I’ll say it bluntly VOTE RUBIO!

…and Eugene Robinson’s column mentioned is a disgrace as are Joan Walsh’s statements. This “extremist” and “violence” rhetoric by Walsh is a crock.

I’ve had the pleasure to meeting many of these people from all over. These are fine hard working people who believe that government has decided to ignore them. Many of them are also small businessmen who are experienced when it comes to making a payroll and jumping through all the hoops that regulation puts them through.

I challenge her either of them to interview Don Curtis

Here is a man who makes a payroll, provides jobs, and deals with all that the government requires. If you attend a tea party this is the type of fellow you will find over and over again. If the government was made up of people like this we would be in great shape.

…a million union leaders are going to be jumping off the bridge after this interview.

This guy had the answers to every question. When he said that teachers put in nothing to their pensions and he listed the benefits that was a body blow that it will be hard to spin, even to the MSNBC viewer.

They touched on the Teachers union “Praying for his death” business that was mentioned at Sister Toldjah mentioned here. Christie said the head of the union showed up to apologize, Christie said he suggested they show the apology was sincere by asked for that person’s resignation. The Union head stormed out.

If this is how Christie carries himself, the GOP should have him on every network show possible.
