Q: Why is George Monbiot spending his time trying to “apprehend” people like Tony Blair and John Bolton instead of people like say Lloyd Woodson or Mohammed Bouyeri?

Q: If someone asked me two weeks ago what were the chances of:
Scott Brown beating Martha Coakley Jan 19th.
That I’d be doing a blog post while sitting crossed legged on my den floor watching Morning Joe and blogging with the sound down because Robert Stacy McCain is fast asleep on the couch behind me.
What would I answer?
Well the first seems poised to happen and the second is happening as I type this.
If this doesn’t prove the truth of this passage:

Q: What is the difference between Robert Stacy McCain when he is making a political point and when you are in a bar with him while he is holding court and having a few?
Oh and BTW while we were at the Boarder Grille and Bar in Leominster first for supper and then for beer there was one interesting change. As I’ve mentioned before, everywhere I go I ask the people what they think of the election and what people are saying about it. The bar was the first time that a person told us that people were talking about the race.
And what did young lady of a bartender say? Everybody hates Martha Coakley and likes Scott Brown.
The times they are a-changin!
Update: One disadvantage of posting at 2 a.m. when you have been up since 6 a.m. and driving all around the state is you forget your manners, I didn’t give a shout out to the authors of American Glob or Left bank of the Charles who came to Leominster to Join us till the wee hours of the morning.
