Via Where?

Every now and again Stacy will throw a zinger at Allahpundit for never linking to him and I tend to smile. Allah’s mistrust of all things Palin annoys me but it never was a big deal one way or the other.

Well the clip that Stacy posted & the interview I shot at the Marty Lamb / Jim McGovern debate seems to have become the talk of the conservative town at the Gunn event many where talking about it. You would think that it would rate a link from allahpundit.

It did rate a link, to RCP:

Cripes even Wikipedia got a link instead of Stacy and Stacy was THERE.

I’ve got nothing against RCP but next time Stacy comment on how Allah won’t link to him or to HIS story. I’m going to listen.

There were about two hundred people at the event. The Moderator for the event was Stefani Traina of the League of Women Voters of Andover – North Andover. First of all, there was no American flag at this event. Second of all, when one of the candidates brought up the voting record of Congressman McGovern, the moderator stopped him, calling that a personal attack. When the audience responded loudly, a discussion of the candidate’s voting record was permitted.

This was not really a debate. The candidates were not allowed direct exchanges and there were many things said that I personally knew were not true, but there was no provision in the format the challenge the statements made.

Stacy McCain and the road Trip Bleg

OK Stacy McCain is here in Massachusetts on a one way ticket. Once he is done here he has to get home. He could buy a plane ticket but that would leave a lot of congressional races in states between Massachusetts and Virginia uncovered by dynamic Fedora wearing bloggers and you not informed about them.

How can we get Stacy home and make sure you know about the races you need to hear about? The Solution: Road Trip!

The plan would be to rent a car here, then once Stacy was done with Massachusetts we would drive him home, stopping at key districts to cover different races along the way (Think Tea party express with less singing and more Fedoras) once we get to Stacy’s house, I turn around the car and drive for home (About 10 hour drive straight through).

It figures, Stacy McCain is in Massachusetts…

…and I have a wedding today.

I managed to talk to him last night after he landed and managed to get a few minutes on the phone with Marty Lamb, Tom Wesley and Bill Gunn before they went on the air last night. You will likely read about that in the next day or two at his blog.

Today he is noticing the negative ads Deval Patrick outside groups have been hitting Baker with relentlessly:

Charles Baker is the Republican candidate challenging Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick. Lately, Baker has been targeted by attack ads from a group called “Bay State Future,” headed by Barbara Weniger. But this group is actually a front for Democrats and labor unions

Democrats in this state are VERY scared. You have seen very little polling outside of ma-10, the governor’s race and ma-4 (Barney Frank vs Sean Beilat). If the true extent of what is going on here in Massachusetts gets out the democratic morale and fundraiser nationally could collapse.

Some people have not believed what I’ve been saying about Massachusetts, perhaps once Stacy has a few days in the state he can corroborate what I’ve been reporting.
