As D-Day continues to close in and the job cupboard remains bare I continue to look for any way to augment my income before unemployment disappears.

In that vein I’ve written what is (at least for now) my first Examiner article on the subject of Boston area tea parties:

They didn’t look very dangerous to me.

On April 18th Bill Clinton suggested the tea parties “create a climate” that makes a Tim McVeigh more likely to act.

Yet four days earlier the atmosphere on the Boston Common was festive not angry. People had come from all over the state and beyond as they united in making their point about taxes, spending and government responsibility.

If you have the time an inclination I’d like to ask you to click on the article and read the whole thing. Every hit on that site helps, and of course if you click around a bit that certainly doesn’t hurt.

Next to the tip jar (or hiring me yourself) this is the easiest way you can help put a couple of dollars in the pocket.

After all it doesn’t look like this guy is going to:

…good sport though he is.

I know it’s a very bad video, should have interviewed him in the lighted tent.

Morning Joe gets full marks for reporting on the South Park business, pointing out the threats, the difference between the way Mohammad was treated vs Christ, the foolishness of pretending that what was said wasn’t a threat, and the extra censorship on the rebroadcast. All very important, glad to see it happen.

However it was put under Wille Geist’s “News you Can’t use” section.

News you can’t use? Let me get this straight, Bill Clinton tries to link the Tea Parties to Tim McVeigh, that is fine. Radical Islam who you might have heard has a bit of history, “warning” south park is News you can’t use?

I suppose I should take what I can get from MSNBC, ya gotta walk before you run.

Update: Glenn has the line of the week: “Those who have no backbone will do the bidding of those who do.”

…then the tea party movement can be proud that Bertha Lewis referred to the movement as a “bowel movement

…while proudly declaring herself a socialist. You can at least give her credit for the courage of her convictions, if not her good sense.

If you are a person who attended a tea party be proud. If the head of Acorn feels you are dangerous enough to insult in that way then you are effective and if the head of an organization as corrupt as Acorn hates you then you are on the side of angels.

Lets play a game, who wants to call their local congressman and get a comment on that statement by the head of Acorn? You can leave what they answer as a comment on the blog. Let’s see who has the courage of their convictions.

Update: No wonder Bertha has her dander up, As Michelle Malkin Tweets and Human Events reports they were cut from the government teet again today. How can a socialist survive without other people’s money? At least when I need cash from strangers I ask for it.

Monique like Wendy came down from Maine to attend the Boston Tea Party:
