I owe Joe Scarborough an apology, mea culpa

Today while watching Morning Joe this morning he brought up the Clinton record on taxes and I put out the following tweet:

A few minutes later he mentioned how the GOP congress moved Clinton, but at the same time I noticed that my youngest had not come down for his bus, had to get him up and running. He ended up missing the bus so I had to get dressed and get him to school. On the way home I stopped at Moran Square diner (ironic as Barnicle has mentioned it more than once) had breakfast and came back home about an hour after I left totally forgetting about the tweet.

A few min ago Joe sent this tweet.

It had been several hours later so I didn’t remember what he was talking about, but after seeing the tweet and remembering he had a real point so I tweeted the following:

Normally that would do but it occurs to me the tweet was up for 4 hours uncorrected. As it was not put up in error deleting it would be altering the record and the simply mea culpa tweet is in my opinion an insufficient apology so Joe I put this post up as a formal apology and correction that you deserve and honor demands beyond a simple tweet.

My bad.

Update: Maybe Meghan McCain can use this post as a template for a bad tweet.

The thing that gets me is the “in character”

Different individuals have different expertise, I don’t know if Stephen Colbert has any more specific information about illegal immigration than anyone else, but I do know this.

If you are going to testify on the people’s dime in the people’s house it is not meant to be a publicity stunt done in character.

But clown Colbert’s Democrat enablers aren’t interested in serious debate. They’re interested in promoting illegal alien amnesty by any means necessary — even it means turning a House hearing into a Comedy Central stage.

If democrats want to know why they are heading for the defeat they are, it’s because they have the same respect for the voter as they do for the people’s house.

If she had said: “These Blacks are trying to take a seat from us” (whites)

Then this would be on every network. Morning Joe’s guest would be outraged and Pat Buchanan would be brought on to try to defend it, every Morning show would be leading it and the weekend shows would talk about nothing else…and Rightly so because that is simple racism.

However the phrase was made by Loretta Sanchez a democrats who is of “Hispanic” origin and instead of “blacks” they are talking “Vietnamese” so the Mainstream media will totally ignore this and the left side blogs will be silent.

So we will have to rely on Breitbart TV, and Maggie’s farm, and the right scoop, and american power and gateway pundit and hotair etc etc etc…

No word if Harry Reid will play the Hotness card to try to help sanchez out.

If that’s not a reason to support Van Tran what is?
I guarantee that if I get the Radio show off the ground it will be mentioned by me.

Update: it goes without saying that if she was a tea party candidate it would be the only news on TV

…I actually think the most important is rule 6:

New Rule: Don’t worry if the Leftist MSM, or David Brooks, likes you.

If they dislike you, or find you to be “spreading the poison”, that means you are winning. See Sarah Palin and the Tea Party as exhibit A of this phenomenon.

Let’s look at the Republicans that the so-called liberal MSM does like, shall we? OK–there’s Dede Scozzafova, Mike Castle, Arlen Specter and Lisa Murkowski. Whatever do they all have in common? Oh yeah–they lost!! Oh, and if Mike Castle had won in DE and Christine O’Donnell had lost, then the MSM would be trying to destroy him right now and would be crying crocodile tears for Christine O’Donnell.

The only republican the MSM likes are either defeated or dead. Period Exclamation Point
