Lyndon I’ve Been to Federal Penitentiary and I’m not Going Back For You

George Paar to Lyndon Johnson when asked for more votes to steal back an election 1942

James Taylor: This is the works! Either we’re out of business or bigger than ever before.

Mr. Smith Goes to Washington 1939

I have said for years that the only reason why Donald Trump won in 2016 was that the Democrat Bosses believed the polls and thought that Trump had no prayer, thus when Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania suddenly were going for Trump on election night the Democrats did not have the apparatus in place to steal the election.

(The tell for this was the VERY long delay in calling the final states to put Trump over the top and the fact that when those states were called, they were all called within a few minutes of each other. Once they realized they couldn’t pull it off, they left the numbers be released.)

At the time I warned

However that won’t be the case in 2020,  I’ll wager that in 2020 the bosses in Milwaukee, Detroit, Madison and elsewhere will be ready, we’ll see plenty of mail in ballots and absentee ballots that we didn’t see before in those states and plenty of voters looking to go for the GOP will be in the same spot that Steven Kruiser was on election night.

We have four years to prepare for this so we’d better get ready because as our friends on the left have demonstrated in the past, they play for keeps.

After all you don’t think Soros has been quietly sinking millions into AG races, you know the people who would be protesting election fraud on a local level, just because it’s fun?

And sure enough the Trump White House didn’t take the best advice I had ever given and the steal went forward and state officials and judges dismissed case after case (many times on standing) and (unknown at the time) Federal officials thanks to both action and inaction turned what was going to be a large but peaceful rally on January 6th into an excuse to jail dozens if not hundreds in jail in the hope of setting an example, protest the steal, have your life changed forever.

Now it’s 2024. All the apparatus for the steal is still in place and the preparations made ready long ago but several wild cards came into play that had not been anticipated and the one thing that was, didn’t turn out as expected.

  • Bobby Kennedy decided to run for President and the move to block him from the Democrat primaries and then from the ballot when he decided to go independent drove him to Trump
  • Despite getting the candidate they wanted (Donald Trump) the Democrats discovered that he had learned from his previous mistake and pushed both early voting and ballot harvesting that had been the mainstay of Democrat steal efforts.
  • Joe Biden’s debate performance exposed the entire MSM, already having credibility problems, as liars who had been protecting him for months if not years and blunted them as an effective weapon.
  • The move to push Biden off the ticket angered his team to the point where Biden while being forced to buckle to pressure, threw them a curve and forced them to take Kamala Harris as their leader.
  • The use of lawfare against Trump completely backfired as he completely refused to be cower from the prospect of Jail as did Steve Bannon who went in and came out defiant while people who didn’t like Trump were appalled at the use of the government to imprison political foes
  • Red State Governors like Ron DeSantis exporting their illegals to “Sanctuary Cities” in blue states at a volume where the problem of illegal immigration affected Democrat voter blocs
  • Their move to squash any potential opposition to Kamala outraged many Democrats (particularly I suspect Bernie voters) who realized their votes for Biden in the primary not only counted for nothing, but found there were not going to be given another chance to vote.
  • The (their?) assassination attempt(s) on Trump not only failed but Trump demonstrated a courage and defiance that they had not anticipated completely changing many peoples perception of him.
  • The combination of:
    • Democrats in general and Kamala’s attacks on men in particular
    • Trump’s reaction to the attempt to kill him
    • Illegal immigration finally affecting blue states
  • ….finally started driving Black and Latino voters (particularly men) to him
  • Trump’s outreach to Bobby Kennedy which turned an opponent into an ally.
  • The exceptional choice of J.D. Vance who has proved spectacular on the national stage both as a candidate and a foil to the media
  • The utter ineptness of Kamala Harris as a candidate even in scripted situations.
  • A result so obvious that places like the LA Times, USA Today and the Washington Post are unwilling to endorse the Democrat candidate for the white house

and finally and most importantly

  • Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter and his decision to open the gates of free speech breaking the monopoly of the Deep state/tech state on information

All of this has us in a position where a week away from the election not only is Trump leading in all the swing states with a bunch of early votes banked in many states but he is expanding the map to places where like Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan in 2016, the apparatus for a steal is not in place and likely can’t be put in place in time.

In short we are in a position where while the apparatus is in place in key states to steal and election you have a strong likely hood that it would fail because of

  • Increased vigilance
  • A larger margin to overcome
  • A candidate even less credible then LOL 81 million Joe

All of this puts us back to the same formula I postulated 8 years ago:

If
(Number of votes you can get away stealing) > (Number of votes you might lose by)

Then

Go For it!

Else

Release your vote totals as is

Endif

You will not I have bolded the key phrase get away because we are at a point where it is not only likely that a steal might fail do to the volume of the vote, but the dissatisfaction of the electorate has, in my opinion, reached a point where officials held their noses and went along with the steal last time because they disliked Trump might decide against playing ball.

Furthermore if the steal DOES fail you will not only get a Trump administration with a Trump AG and a bunch of new Trump lawyers at Justice but you will get a Trump administration that has had an election stolen from them hell bent on getting those who did tried to do it to them again.

That is the risk/reward that is now in place for the dishonest and dishonorable undemocratic left. Do they go Jim Taylor and go all in figuring that a 2nd administration in a row will allow them to cement power to the point where Washington will be Chicago forevermore or do they decide to go George Paar the Duke of Duval county figuring they will hold their fire and keep their heads down for the opening they need to return to power.

Regardless of what they dishonest and dishonorable left do we should assume they are going all Jim Taylor and go all out to beat them.

Stacy McCain still being banned from Twitter reminds me of Molly Norris still in hiding for her life. Both outraged me at the time and I’m still pissed off by the pair.

The only reason why the slave trade died was the British government put their navy on stopping it and actually paid cash to captains per slave freed. African nations at the time hated that. Rather than needing a civil war they paid compensation to slaveowners to make things work and those loans they took to do so were only recently retired.

I’m old enough when people actually knew history.

I always find it sad with I see Anne Applebaum drinking the koolaid. Her Black book of Communism was an important work and recorded things that history might have lost from the Soviet archives and a service to humanity.

But that’s not a guarantee against Trump derangement syndrome.

You actually have to watch the video this is clipped from for full context but the good news is the black woman recognized that the white girl has gone over the line and scolds her for it. Given they’re Kamala fans that’s signifies hope. The bad news is that the girl who is apparently an organizer for Kamala is now going to have to carry this stupid act for as long as there is an internet which is forever.

It’s really a bad thing when your politics becomes your religion because fanatics are dangerous.

Also a lot of people seeing this remember being young and stupid and thank God that cell phone camera and the internet weren’t around when they were young.

I’m going to include two tweets in this last section first from the Lincoln Project

and the 2nd from Rick Wilson who draws his pay from a different source than he once did.

I don’t get all that upset about these guys. You know left PACS are paying their bills and they aren’t going to make a dime from GOP candidates anymore so they’re just earning the bucks for being the paid actors that they are. This is the script or at least the outline and they’re just saying lines.

There are two types of people who don’t see the writing on the wall. The people who have made politics their religion like the niche market who still watch CNN that Jake Tapper was pandering to here:

and the people who are paid to pretend not to see it. They will be talking about a Democrat wave sweeping the country right until the day that High Brazil sinks under the waves and beyond if the cash keeps coming.

There’s a tendency by the left to refer to supporters of Donald J. Trump as a cult.

We’re not.

Oh, before I move on, if you plan to vote for the Trump-Vance ticket and other Republican candidates, do so now. While our side typically likes to vote on Election Day, there’s always that chance you’ll be ill that day, have car problems, a family emergency might arise, or inclement weather might sneak up on you. All of these things can happen tomorrow–however, there’s always the day after.

Except on Election Day.

Mrs. Marathon Pundit and I voted–for Trump of course–last week. Up until post-election day in 2020, both of us opposed early voting. But we’re against the Democrats even more.

Back to “the cult.”

The Democrats dragged a senile old man over the finish line in 2020. So instead of wandering the beaches of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, Joe Biden was living in the world’s priciest nursing home, the White House. Now the Dems, citing first “joy,” and now “Trump is Hitler,” are trying to accomplish the same stunt for Kamala Harris, the poster child of that disease of the public sector, failing upwards.

Cult-leaders believe their followers will fall for anything. Which brings me to influencers.

One bizarre campaign strategy of the Dems is the use of social media influencers who mindlessly cheer on the Kamala Harris-Tim Walz ticket. They were just as zombie-like for Biden-Harris. Since they often post on social media on the same topic almost simultaneously, I suspect all of them are being fed the same lies, oops, make that lines, by the Democratic Party or Dem PACs.

Cult members fall for such appeals to emotion.

The worst of the bunch is the man-child, Harry Sisson. More often than the others, Sissons begins many of his posts with “BOOM,” or “OMG.” And he regularly claims, almost always falsely, that a Trump rally venue is dominated by empty seats, or has attendees leaving early, which course, Sisson will say, cause the Trump-Vance campaign to “panic.”

Thru a couple of liberal PACs, Sisson is paid for his X blather, according to Community Notes on X.

A couple of other influence tools are almost as bad. Until the day Biden was pushed out of the campaign, the Kamala’s Wins X page was known as Biden’s Wins.

What wins?

In an X post last week, Kamala’s Wins said about a Tempe event, “BREAKING: Local reporters in Arizona are reporting that Donald Trump is struggling to fill seats for his rally tonight. Trump’s rallies have been emptier than ever lately.”

That Tempe rally, according to an X video posted in that account’s comments feed, didn’t seem to have a single empty seat.

Then there is Victor Shi, another influencer. Today he said on X, “This matters,” about a Madden game between Tim Walz and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Because he appears to be about 60 years old, the worst of the Harris influencer ilk is Jon Cooper.

For the last few days, Cooper has been claiming on X that a “devastating” video damaging to Trump would be released soon. We’re still waiting. If such a video existed, it would be out by now. What was that I said earlier about early voting? Depending on where you live, it began days ago–or weeks ago.

If Kamala Harris believes these influencers change or add a single vote for her, then it’s solid proof that she is too dumb to be president.

In the 2028 presidential campaign, I predict the use of influencers by Democratic presidential campaigns will be greatly diminished.

But Dem cultists, like shell game operators who can’t fool anyone anymore, will move on to something else.

I write for MONEY!

Robert Stacy McCain

While Donald Trump was flying to Michigan after his 3 hour session with Joe Rogan Kamala Harris was in Houston where a crowd of 30,000 had gathered.

That crowd has been told by media reports that pop superstar Beyoncé was going to be there and at least one news organization (NBC) reported that she would be performing for free at the event.

Pop superstar Beyoncé will appear with Vice President Kamala Harris at her event in Houston on Friday evening, according to three sources familiar with the plans.

Beyoncé is also expected to perform, said one of the sources, who has direct knowledge of the preparations. The Washington Post first reported the news of Beyoncé’s appearance.

Old friend Captain (am I the only person who still calls him that?) Ed Morrissey notes that the Post was a lot more circumspect in terms of facts vs rumor that NBC news in their story

The Washington Post was a bit more careful, perhaps as a result of the “false rumors” that Beyoncé would perform on the final night of the Democrat convention. Their report on Thursday didn’t include a suggestion that she would sing, but would “appear” at the rally

Nevertheless 30,000 people turned out knowing that Beyoncé was going to be there and the Harris campaign gleefully noted the large crowd.

I suspect those 30,000 came fully expecting her to hear Beyoncé sing. I suspect this because when she got on the stage and introduced Kamala Harris and left WITHOUT signing thing went a tad south for the Harris campaign.

How many of those 30,000 who have not yet voted do you think left that “event” feeling duped? How many of them do you think got home after paying for parking and navigating the traffic that comes from a 30K crowd for a concert that didn’t happen just so she can get Politico to claim she “won the day” might just be, at worst, pissed off enough to vote Trump or at best pissed off enough to stay home for Election 2024?

Ted Cruz should send her a “Thank you” card.

But all of this leads to one simply question: Why didn’t Beyoncé sing?

I mean surely she could have done at least one tune to please the crowd? I understand that it’s not the 1940’s where Bing Crosby could just break into song without a band and her performances might usually require more of a setup for it to come near the quality of what a concert performance might be, but one might think a professional singer is capable of singing a song without the bells and whistles and still not tank.

Furthermore while the idea of a celeb being dense is not foreign to me (after all she endorsed Harris) it’s quite inconceivable to me that she would be unaware of the negative effect that her failure to sing would have on the crowd both immediately at the event and afterwards when their dissatisfaction at the bait and switch would be amplified both in person to friends and on social media.

And if she had been duped by the Harris campaign assuring her that all they wanted was her introduction but telling the press she would sing in the hope of pressuring her to do so, she could have easily bowed out claiming illness or some other reason for not appearing as announced while still giving an endorsement.

So the question remains on the floor: If she actually wants Harris to win why didn’t she sing for her that day?

I don’t claim to know the answer but suspect the it can be traced to some advice that an old Italian man once gave to a young boxer named Rocco Francis Marchegiano who you know better as the only undefeated Heavyweight Champion in history Rocky Marciano back in the 1940’s

“Someday you’re going to win the title and then a lot of guys you never saw before will be coming around,” Mike Piccento had told him long before, “If they want to be with you let them pay. They’ve got the money. They can afford it. They don’t want to be with just plain Rocky. They want to be with a champion. If you were nobody they wouldn’t give you a second look. And if you go downhill, they’ll drop you like a hot potato. So let them pay.”

Everett M Skehan (with family assistance by Peter, Louis and Mary Ann Marciano) Rocky Marciano Biography of a First son page 215

or consider this classic exchange from the old All in the Family Episode when Sammy Davis Jr. visits the Bunker home:

Archie Bunker: Can you maybe give us a little preview of one of the songs you’re gonna do?
Gloria Stivic : Oh, daddy. Mr. Davis makes his living entertaining. You’re asking him to go to work.
Mike Stivic: Yeah, Arch. How’d you like to be a guest in somebody’s house, and they say, “C’mon Arch, do some packing and lifting for us”?

All in the Family Sammy’s Visit 1972

I suspect Beyoncé and most celebs understand this very well. If she was just Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter the Harris campaign wouldn’t care who she was. But she’s not, she’s Beyoncé! If the Kamala Harris campaign wants Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter to show up at a rally and say a few words of introduction for her in her home town no problem. But to paraphrase Robert Stacy McCain: Beyoncé sings for MONEY, and that makes it business.

So if Kamala of the 1 billion dollar election war chest wants Beyoncé the singer to sing, or to use the relevant word WORK, well that’s fine but she has to meet her fee like everyone else, otherwise a few words of introduction is all she was going to get. Given the end result I suspect paying for a song or two would have been worth every penny.

It’s not personal, it’s strictly business
