  • Ernst Janning: Judge Haywood… the reason I asked you to come: Those people, those millions of people… I never knew it would come to that. You *must* believe it, *You must* believe it!
  • Judge Dan Haywood: Herr Janning, it “came to that” the *first time* you sentenced a man to death you *knew* to be innocent.

Judgement at Nuremburg 1961

Well the Trump verdict is in and the only people who might be surprised by the result are those who have no familiarity with the soviet show trials and how they worked.

I have nothing printable to say to those cheering the verdict but I do have two thoughts about what we will see thanks to it.

The first I’m spotting already:

I think a lot of people have this idea. While I supported difference candidates in the 2016 primary (Ted Cruz) and in the 2024 primaries (Ron DeSantis) I had no problem voting for Trump in the general in 2016 or 2020 and of course have no trouble voting for him in 2024.

I think a lot of people who might not have realized it before realize it now and are making a final attempt to restore the rule of law by the ballot box before it has to be restored by the ammunition box.

But that’s only one thing that’s coming from this verdict. There is a second think that we haven’t seen yet but I hope to see soon:

Let me remind you of the wise words of Kurt Schlichter:

Well, unlike the Fredocons, folks like you and me don’t do two sets of rules. One set of rules, for everyone, applied good and hard. The new rules are in effect and may God have mercy on your souls.

What do these new rules mean? Well they mean in you are a deep red state with a deep red electorate and with a conservative who wants to gain strength with the base, the trick is now to promise to prosecute national leftists. Political leaders, Cultural leaders, University leaders members of the media and of course all these darling leftists who were and are all in on the Trump prosecution.

If there is one thing this country is awash in it’s laws and I’m sure if you reach deep enough you can find ones that have been broken and can turn them into felonies. It’s been said you can indict a ham sandwich, well it’s time to turn our leftist friends into pork.

Now there are those who might think this is a bad idea, who might not like it, in fact I don’t like it myself but I have to say I’m again with Kurt Schlichter:

Now, I am not saying that I like the new rules. I don’t – I think the new rules are bad. I’m just accepting that the rules have changed, stating what the new rules are, and strongly urging us to play by them. I want to be very clear, as I have been for nearly a decade,  because there are stupid people out there who can’t hear this often enough. I was against imposing the new rules. I argued against them. I warned people against these new rules time and time again. But you know what? I was overruled about the new rules. A lot of people, mostly leftists but some pseudo-conservatives, decided we would go with the new rules. Again, I told them it was a bad idea. I told them it would lead to outcomes that they would not be happy with, but they decided not to listen to me. No, they decided that they were smarter and wiser and blah blah blah blah blah and that suppressing the speech of bad people – like us – was a moral imperative.

Well, they got their new rules. Now they get to enjoy them, really hard and free of lubrication.

The new rules boil down to one thing – if you’ve got power, exercise it to promote your interests over the interests of your enemy. That’s it. That’s the basic rule in 2024.

But frankly the bottom line is the left will continue to impose these “new rules” on anyone they see as a threat. The only way to cause this to stop is to apply the same rule to them and to use them brutally.

Remember Illinois, Massachusetts and New York didn’t give a damn about illegal immigration until red state governors started bussing them to their states and “sharing the wealth”. The Democrat left has decided to use lawfare as a political tool. So be it, I urge red states to do the same to the fullest degree that they are able.

They have made their choice and their rules, make them live by them until they cry “enough”.

I don’t think I can do better than this speech in explaining what’s wrong with what it going on nationwide:

He rightly asks if any of this would be tolerated if the targets were Muslims and/or a Muslim country.

That this would be the basis for lawsuits goes without saying.

A lot of institutions are risking a lot to try to shore up Michigan for Joe Biden in accordance with the Ghastly Tom Hagen Math and Jewish leftists who enabled them for years are finding out where they stand are discovering the truth of Glenn Reynolds words:

Several generations of Jews thought there was safety in secularism, and shunned Christians. That hasn’t worked out as expected.

Or as I warned back in 2016

If you are a jewish Democrat you might as well get ready to put the yellow star on because like believing Catholics and pro-lifers before you, it might be finally clear to you that unless you know your place you are no longer welcome anymore in today’s Democrat party.

However if there is one thing that human beings have an incredible capacity for, it’s self delusion and for a very long time there will be plenty of Jewish democrats who remain in denial even as their children attending elite colleges find themselves treated as second class citizens if ever and whenever they try to acknowledge and celebrate their Jewish identity and hide it due to fear.  It’s very much like some elderly faithful Catholics who somehow haven’t gotten through their heads that this is not the democrat party of JFK or Tip O’Neill anymore.

The process of discovering reality is going to be very painful for them and some will go to their graves in denial because the truth is too horrible to face.

Sometimes it sucks being right.

On the plus side if you’re a lawyer you are going to clean up big over the next few years with these suits and if you are a Jewish lawyer your victories over those who want to see you dead will be doubly sweet.

There have been a lot of critiques of the sham Trump trial in NYC showing that there is no sign of any “there” there but in the latest critique Jonathan Turley boils it down to a single point:

The assumption was that no rational prosecutor would base a major criminal case almost entirely on the testimony of Michael Cohen, who was recently denounced by a judge as a serial perjurer peddling “perverse” theories in court.

The calculus of Alvin Bragg is now obvious. He is counting on the jury convicting Trump regardless of the evidence.

“Now obvious”? Do you seriously mean to suggest that this wasn’t obvious from day one?

Frankly the next line of this piece is even more amusing:

Which is also why Bragg likely fears that the judge, not the jury, will decide the case.

No he doesn’t. If there has been one thing clear from the start of this entire process is that judge Merchan is there to make sure that Trump is convicted. His previous rulings all point in that direction, in fact the only reason he hasn’t put Trump in jail for contempt is fear that it will even further expose his court as the farce it is to the few in the country who haven’t figured it out.

The goal here is to give the left grounds to remove Trump from ballots or to give congress grounds to bar him from running because frankly it’s looking like Trump is going to win this thing far beyond the margin of believable fraud. That is Merchan’s entire purpose, to make this possible, particularly since the other cases are falling apart on a federal level. This is the preverbal “hail Mary” pass although given the corrupt nature of the move it’s more of a “hail satan”.

This isn’t a movie from the 30’s or 40’s where the corrupt judge or congressman decides to redeem himself at the end, this is part of a long trek of the American left toward the soviet system that they have craved for decades.

Furthermore If Merchan suddenly decided to act, like you know an actual judge he instantly becomes an “unperson” to the left a convenient scapegoat for Trump’s re-election. Whatever social life he has is gone, whatever favors that his family might have received is gone and it’s not like the right is going to suddenly embrace him for taking his oath as a judge seriously.

The only reason why this trial is taking place is because the verdict was decided long before it began. If the prosecutor’s entire case was Mr. Bragg singing “I’m a little teapot” Merchan would pass it to the jury and the jury would convict.

Anyone thinking otherwise is deluding themselves.

Clemenza gets it

Michael: How bad do you think it’s gonna be?

Clemenza: Pretty goddam bad. Probably all the other Families will line up against us. That’s all right. These things gotta happen every five years or so, ten years. Helps to get rid of the bad blood. Been ten years since the last one. You know, you gotta stop them at the beginning. Like they should have stopped Hitler at Munich, they should never let him get away with that, they was just asking for trouble.

The Godfather 1972

One of the best commercials that I ever saw comes from my youth. It was for the Fram Oil Filters. In it a mechanic is doing expensive engine work on a car that didn’t have the oil changed regularly. The message was very simple and direct. Spend the money for an oil change and filter now or pay me later for engine work.

That’s what instantly comes to mind when I saw this story

Bragg, who is currently prosecuting the case against former President Donald Trump, did not respond to multiple requests for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation asking whether pro-Palestinian protestors arrested on Tuesday would be charged.

The New York Police Department (NYPD) arrested 119 protestors at Columbia on Tuesday night, along with 173 protestors at the separate City University of New York (CUNY) protest, where students occupied an administration building.

“Given his track record and the political nature of the events, I would be surprised if the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office prosecuted the charges in a serious manner,” Cornell Law School professor William Jacobson told the DCNF. “The charges are likely to be dropped against most perpetrators, and drastically reduced for others under an agreement that would see the charges eventually expunged.”

“In New York City, unfortunately, this type of weak prosecution agenda encourages more crime,” Jacobson continued.

Alas as Professor Jacobson own blog can attest to. These actions are not confined to Columbia & New York City, Northwestern, U Chicago, Rutgers, UCLA, Brown, U Wisconsin (where students chanted “Heil Hitler” at Jewish Students are among the colleges that these mobs have occupied. At Portland State police found “improvised weapons” and Drone footage shows the mob at UCLA being trained in hand to hand combat.

As James Woods notes, these were not “spontaneous protests”

Brings to mind the pallets of bricks that oddly found themselves delivered in the path of BLM riots years ago. Robert Spencer elabortates:

Not only is it not spontaneous, it’s clearly orchestrated from outside the colleges and universities where the encampments have sprung up. New York City Mayor Eric Adams has acknowledged that “professionals” were involved in the Columbia University encampment. Another sign that this isn’t exactly a grass-roots movement is the fact that a large number of the pro-Hamas protesters have identical tents. Which well-heeled leftist bought them? We don’t know and may never know, but someone certainly appears to have done some buying in bulk.

Still, the movement needed foot soldiers. The cadres had to be recruited and indoctrinated. That has been the work of the Middle East Studies Association (MESA), the professional organization of Middle East Studies professors at colleges and universities nationwide.

Now in Red states folks like Ron DeSantis are enforcing the law, but in blue states the police didn’t start moving in until the visuals were polling bad for Democrats or when people started fighting back and leftists were getting beaten.

The administrators of many of the universities hosting these encampments have either been too fearful to act or actually sympathize with the pro-Hamas brownshirts. They allowed not just the tent occupation on a public university campus to fester, but even with evidence of brownshirts’ being trained …

… never called for any measures to clear this out until a group of Jews decided maybe “Never again” was now.

And, suddenly, Karen Bass noticed.

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass vowed Wednesday to prosecute pro-Israel vigilantes who attacked the illegal “Palestine Solidarity Encampment” at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) overnight.

Beating a Jewish girl and sending her to the Hospital, No big deal. Fighting back against those who beat her when the authorities take no action? That’s beyond the pale.

What’s worse is the selective prosecutions:

And let’s be clear, too, that Governor Hairgel Newsom said nothing until yesterday, too, when so-called vigilantes decided to go where law enforcement refused to go.

This is how a high trust society is destroyed. There would have been no vigilante action if our Dear Democrat Betters like Bass, Newsom and UCLA brass had done their job. Let’s see who is really legally punished by Soros-puppet DA Gascon after the dust has settled. We saw lots of arrests after the 2020 fiery, but mostly peaceful riots but close to no convictions. Hamas brownshirts who blocked the Golden Gate bridge have had no charges filed.

The FBI is too busy with grandmas who spent ten minutes walking between velvet ropes on Jan 6 or keeping tabs on observant Catholics to be bothered when anti-Western Hamasholes shutdown taxpayer-funded university campuses.

The good folks at Citizen Free Press put it perfectly

The bottom line is selective enforcement of the law combined with allowing people to get away with violence while going after those who try to stop it will cause the former to become bolder and the latter eventually deciding going the full Popeye deciding:

The end result what happened in Israel. They took it and they took it and they took Hamas figured they could continue to strike until they finally figured they could get away with killing thousands and kidnapping hundreds without issue.

That’s when Israel finally decided: That’s all I can stands I can’t stands no more and full scale war in Gaza is the result.

That is what is coming here. As a nation we have a choice, we can enforce the laws and stop this nonsense now while the price is low, or we can allow these thugs to operate without consequences until people get killed and when that happens people are going to decide: “That’s all I can stands I can’t stands no more.”

And that’s when you discover what happens when a highly armed population reaches that point. That’s when these thugs discover what Glenn Reynolds has been saying for years, that Police exist to protect criminals from the rest of us. Or as John Wayne illustrated so well.

The biggest irony is these Jew Hating Nazi’s (because that’s what Hamas supporters are) in the same position that Hitler was when he was moved to occupy the Rhineland in 1936 and America’s Universities city and state governments are in the position of England and France who could have stopped Hitler cold if they had acted:

A German officer assigned to the Bendlerstrasse during the crisis told H. R. Knickerbocker during the Spanish Civil War: “… we knew that if the French marched, we were done. We had no fortifications, and no army to match the French. If the French had even mobilised, we should have been compelled to retire.” The general staff, the officer said, considered Hitler’s action suicidal.[62] General Heinz Guderian, a German general interviewed by French officers after the Second World War, claimed: “If you French had intervened in the Rhineland in 1936 we should have been sunk and Hitler would have fallen.”[63]

Right now if these thugs are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law with the same vigor as the Biden Administration went after the J6 folks who didn’t do a 1/10 of what these people did they can be stopped and a bloody 2nd American civil war or a modern version of the Lincoln County Wars can be avoided.

If not then one day people will write about our government and administration what William Shriver Author of The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich wrote about Britain and France’s inaction during the 1936 Rhineland crisis.

in March 1936 the two Western democracies, were given their last chance to halt, without the risk of a serious war, the rise of a militarized, aggressive, totalitarian Germany and, in fact – as we have seen Hitler admitting – bring the Nazi dictator and his regime tumbling down. They let the chance slip

So what will be be America will we prosecute & stop them with little risk now or we let them continue with no consequences till we have to kill them later in a horrible Civil War later?
