Deep State Fear in Two Tweets

The Fear of the Deep State of Dealing with Reality can be illustrated in two tweets. This one from England where a parody song that has hit #1 is being censored because it hits the PM.

It had been pulled from a Youtube site as well.

It speaks volumes that the BBC is afraid to allow an unpopular PM to be the subject of critique.

As for the US. As you’ve heard the 2nd CR only 115 pages this time vs 1500 was voted down with every single Democrat and thirty something republicans voting against.

That statement of fact is a cause of real fear for the left. If people figure out that they don’t need the government for every little thing the entire Dem machine implodes.

I’ll give Glenn Reynolds the final word:

I say shut it down. Then on January 21, lay off all the “non-essential” employees because, hey, they’re not essential.

And note by the way, that nobody has asked still-sort-of-President Biden and oh-yeah-she’s-still-the-VP Kamala Harris about this.

Progressivism is a Totalitarian Religion

For the past several decades the political left in the United States has waged an all out war to eliminate all elements of Christianity from public view.  The most infamous example of this is the left’s war on Christmas.

Christmas has become the holiday that must not be named.  Nativity Scenes have been removed from government buildings.  Malls hardly have any decorations.  Schools across this country have banned all aspects of Christmas.

In the 1960s the Bible was banned from schools along with religious education.  No one is allowed to utter anything religious at commencement ceremonies.

The political left in the United States despises Christianity so fervently because its adherents do not want any competition from other religions.  Progressivism is their dominant belief system. 

Progressivism is most definitely the official religion of the political left in this nation.  I copied three definitions of religion from the Merriam Webster dictionary so you can see for yourself if Progressivism is in fact a religion.

a personal set or institutionalized system of religious attitudes, beliefs, and practices

a cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith

scrupulous conformity

I would define religion as a belief system based on faith rather then science or verifiable facts.  If you ever had a conversation with some one who identifies as a liberal or a progressive it would become obvious that Progressivism is a belief system entirely devoid of verifiable facts.  They believe what they have been indoctrinated into believing.  Debating with leftist using facts and logic is pointless.

Progressivism is a top down, all encompassing political belief system.  Because of that it is similar to Islam.  All aspects of life come under the control of Progressivism. This includes speech, healthcare, food, cars, the economy, every product you can buy, and what you believe.

Like all political philosophies of the left, progressivism is a collectivist belief system.  Individuals are not allowed to think for themselves or decide anything for themselves.  Progressivism is entirely groupthink. Individuals do not matter.  All that matters is group identity politics.

The political left here has worked hard to establish Progressivism as the official religion of the United States, in direct violation of the Establishment of Religion Clause of the First Amendment. This was never attempted by Christians.  All Christians want to do is freely exercise their religious beliefs, which is protected by the Free Exercise of Religion Clause of the First Amendment.

Liberals say the darndest things on social media

Just like most Conservatives and Libertarians who post regularly on social media, I have been bullied and harassed by my progressive friends constantly.  These tedious verbal assaults prove that the political left is a vast top-down echo chamber where reality is frowned upon. For this article I have complied a list of the most common or most absurd comments that my progressive friends have tortured me with over the years.

Just because I was celebrating the fact that Planned Parenthood funding will most likely be on the Department of Government Efficiency chopping block a liberal friend decided to chronicle every single gynecological issue her and her family ever had. She claimed falsely that poor women all across this country would die if Planned Parenthood did not receive funding because that is the only place they get care.  She also repeated the lie over and over again that women in red states are dying because gynecological care was banned by pro-life laws. 

My liberal friends get incensed every time I post the fundamental truth that abortion is murder.  I get bombarded with absurd comments claiming that unborn children are not alive. I often get called a science denier.  Oh the irony. 

One liberal friend informed me that only certain religious sects maintain that unborn children are a vessel for life.  That same friend told me repeatedly that that religion must be kept out of politics.   I found that statement to be rather absurd on several levels. 

Our entire legal system was based on Judean Christian principles.  If you divorce religious morality from government, you get atrocities such as the holocaust and all of the mass slaughters that occurred under communism.

The separation of church and state is a myth.  The Establishment Clause of the First Amendment only prevents the United States from declaring an official State Religion.  It does not prevent individuals from governing according to religious beliefs.  That is actually protected by the Free Exercise of Religion Clause of the First Amendment.

That Didn’t Take Long

As we’ve been noting for a bit the world is treating Donald Trump as if he was already president. He said this about Syria yesterday:

Syria is a mess, but is not our friend, & THE UNITED STATES SHOULD HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. THIS IS NOT OUR FIGHT. LET IT PLAY OUT. DO NOT GET INVOLVED!

Less than 24 hour later the Biden Administration does this:

The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) launched a series of precision airstrikes against ISIS in central Syria this Sunday.

The operation, which allegedly targeted key ISIS camps and operatives, comes at a critical juncture as the embattled regime of Bashar Assad teeters on the brink of collapse.

I can’t say if this was justified or not but I find the timing….interesting
