As you might have expected rather than wait till the 17th for the US broadcast (which might be cut a bit) my son of course set up a proxy server and we watched the first adventure of the 11th doctor together.

Considering that you can find it online it seems odd to worry about spoilers but I will say the following The story was excellent. The characters were enjoyable, the plot-line really worked, there is a big bonus for us old timers.

Will Ted Kennedy regenerate into Scott Brown?

The explosion for the democratic party would blow out the windows of the Massachusetts political scene as sure as David Tennant’s regeneration into Matt Smith blew out the windows of the Tardis.

Of course the proper regeneration video to use would be the Tony Blair one.

Can this actually be? We will find out tonight if we need someone to make a Ted Kennedy/Scott Brown regeneration video for youtube. Here’s hoping.
