For months now, I’ve been looking at this and going “They have a coup planned. The fix is in.” And everyone told me oh, no, I was seeing things.
Tonight we watched states called for Biden before votes were counted, while states that Trump has a solid lead in, stop counting.
And if you need help seeing what’s before your eyes, the left has for weeks now claimed Trump was going to attempt a coup. How many years have you known they accuse you of what they’re doing? What are you? Stupid?

Sarah Hoyt November 2020

The unexpected victory of Donald Trump in 2016 was a giddy time for conservatives. There were a lot of memes celebrating and a classic set of youtube videos of the calls of the various states that got a ton of views as they upset the MSM to no end.

A lot of people in their joy forgot that when Trump was on the verge of victory things just seemed to stop when it came to vote counting, particularly in in PA, and Wisconsin. For some reason it took hours for the final states to put Trump over the top. Furthermore once Trump went up to give his victory speech all those states together suddenly got called.

I have maintained for years that the reason for this was the Democrats who thought the election was in the bag were trying to steal the election on the fly and eventually found they could not. Once they realized they weren’t prepared the states were called expect for New Hampshire where there just happened to be a key Senate race where democrat fraud squad was ready and able to save said seat and give the state to Clinton as a consolation prize.

So while most were still celebrating the defeat of Hillary Clinton I gave the conservative movement in general and Donald Trump in particular one of the best pieces of advice I had ever given in my life:

Democrat Bosses in Wisconsin Michigan and Minnesota had no inkling that the election was close, that being the case there was no reason why, in an age where proof of a federal offense is a cell phone video away, Dem bosses in Detroit or elsewhere felt the need to take any risk.  They figured those states were won (and they were right about Minnesota) and by election night it was too late to change it.

However that won’t be the case in 2020,  I’ll wager that in 2020 the bosses in Milwaukee, Detroit, Madison and elsewhere will be ready, we’ll see plenty of mail in ballots and absentee ballots that we didn’t see before in those states and plenty of voters looking to go for the GOP will be in the same spot that Steven Kruiser was on election night.

We have four years to prepare for this so we’d better get ready because as our friends on the left have demonstrated in the past, they play for keeps.

After all you don’t think Soros has been quietly sinking millions into AG races, you know the people who would be protesting election fraud on a local level, just because it’s fun?

You have all been warned

Well this warning about election fraud and Soros and DA races was completely ignored and thus Election 2020 was stolen, Americans were and are still being imprisoned and the worst four years this country has gone through since World War Two has been the result.

However there is a glimmer of hope that people are finally getting it and one of this is one of the new co-chairs of the GOP Lara Trump:

“Unfortunately, we don’t have one day of voting, we don’t have paper ballots, we don’t have voter ID everywhere. So we have to play the hand that we’re dealt,” Trump said, noting the importance of early voting and mail-in voting where possible. “That way, we have votes banked as we head into Election Day, and we’re not playing catch up on Nov. 5 with the Democrats.”

“We need to be doing legal ballot harvesting — something that has never been done by the RNC, but I can promise you will be a huge part of what we’re planning to do,” she added. “And then come Election Day, and you’ll see that, I think, it’s not just about having poll watchers. It’s about having trained poll watchers and lawyers at locations around the country as necessary. And these are people who will be trained and able to physically count how many ballots are coming in. And how many ballots are going out.”

Trump said her goal is to “have people’s trust restored in our electoral process.”

If you want to know why little miss Romney needed to be replaced, this speech is it. Don Surber has noted this and has given the Trump train a warning:

But the election comes down to Trump stopping a second steal. He rightly has bitched about it for years. Now it is put up or shut up. My tough love for him is to dare to remind him: fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Don Suber has some clout with the Trumps that I don’t perhaps they will listen. If they don’t it’s on them but the primary consequences will be on us.

I’ll give Sarah Hoyt the last word from election night 2020:

A second Trump term means a good chance that they go down hard and don’t get up again.
ALL OF THEM from the left politicians to the so called “tech lords” are fighting for their lives.
They’re cornered rats. There’s nothing they won’t do.

And all we have against them is Trump.
Stop calling Trump names.  Put on your big boy or girl pants.
They’re fighting for their lives.  And we are too. Because — look at Venezuela — socialism kills.

We have been warned, AGAIN!

Saw the article about AOC out with her guy and protesters bugging her about Gaza.

It’s rather ironic as she’s generally on their side but what really struck me is the photo of her out with her guy seemed so …. normal.

I’m partial to the sight of a young lady out with her man and frankly I’d like folks to leave her alone to enjoy those moment which are some of the most important in life.

I don’t watch a lot of the MSM but I made it a point of watching the reactions to the SCOTUS ruling on the attempts to kick Trump off the ballots in various blue states.

I found it hilarious that all of the stressed that the court didn’t acquit him of being an insurrectionist.

They didn’t have to, nobody has filed a charge of insurrection against him in federal court, in fact none of the J6 prisoners or defendants have in fact been charged with insurrection.

Their desperation to keep this narrative intact is very interesting and shows how far they’ve fallen, but it’s amazing how far a person will willingly let themselves fall if their paycheck is attached to it.

Have you noticed that in the minds of the media nothing delegitimizes an institution more than no longer following the narrative of the left.

Elon Musk, Ben Carson, The Supreme Court, Donald Trump, Naomi Wolf and yes J. K. Rowling were all feted and celebrated by the left for a very long time right up until the moment that they were perceived as a threat to the power of the left and the narrative they were selling.

Once they did as far as all those folks who loved and celebrated them were concerned they were now unpersons that needed to be destroyed.

Hey commies gotta commie.

There is an excellent substack by Naomi Wolf about visiting CPAC titled “Letter from CPAC” that you should read. There is one bit that jumped out at me:

We entered the Gaylord at the peak of CPAC, to an atrium thronged with happy visitors. My first, ignominious reaction to the scene, for which Brian rightly chided me, was: “This is not my culture.”

There was a buzz, from the moment we entered: a joyful vibe. After we checked in, changed, and ran down to join the festivities, we were struck by how pleasant and positive almost everyone was to us, and to each other. As someone reported to me the desk clerk had said, “I know they won’t approve of me saying this back in Southeast DC, where I come from, but you all are nice.”

Nice is a good and accurate word, a better description is “normal”

She goes though a list of folks she met and spoke to, many that she might disagree with on some issues and notes how different they are from how the media paints them.

It’s been six years years since I’ve been to CPAC the last time I went was with my sons and them seeing the MSM in action as they actually are taught them plenty.

Finally there are two reasons why you don’t see me at CPAC anymore. The first is as a full time employees where I work I only get so much vacation time and it won’t be till 2028 that I have the additional week that attending CPAC would require.

But the other is frankly that DaTipJar has dwindled to almost nothing, my last fundraiser only managed 25% of my goal and last month between subscriptions and tip jar hits I had exactly $2 left over after paying my writers.

I suspect the blog as a business will not survive long after the election and with money tight it will be an effort to survive to the election. It’s nothing about $5000 wouldn’t solve but that money simply isn’t there and in the end I don’t have a divine right to a single person’s dollar, I can only earn it by producing content that people think is worth it.

It’s disappointing to fail in business I’ve done so many times I’m just sorry I couldn’t provide better for my wife who deserves better. If I had followed my brothers into the civil service I might even now be retired or close to it with a pension, but I’m not ashamed of trying to make it as a writer/pundit and this blog has done good work, sometimes even important work. I’ve showed things and told things as they are which is why both Youtube now and pre-Musk twitter censored me. Best of all I’m proud to say I never sold out to push any narrative I didn’t believe in.

Hey in the end 16 years isn’t a bad run

I listened to the arguments before the Supreme Court concerning Colorado excluding Donald Trump from the ballot in election 2024.

The consensus of those who heard the arguments is as MSNBC of all places put it “a very bad hearing for Colorado” that being not the citizens but those making the case for the state before the court.

While the arguments were interesting and I do suggest listening to them not just for the merits of the case but so you can see how Supreme Court arguments work there is one bottom line that really should be the driving force behind this decision.

The left is relying on the 14th amendment and is claiming that Trump in a “insurrectionist” and if you listen to the folks arguing for Colorado their favorite word in their presentation is “insurrection” or “Insurrectionist”.

The real problem for Colorado doing so is that Donald Trump has never been convicted let alone charged with insurrection. In fact to my knowledge no person who has been charged with crimes concerning the events of January 6th has been charged with insurrection.

It seems to me that if you’re excluding someone from the ballot based on their being an insurrectionist you would actually have to have a declaration that an insurrection took place and that a person is charged by the government with taking part in an insurrection.

This alone should have killed Colorado’s entire argument, and any person on the left should understand that if you can decide to deny a person of their rights without due process, no charge or nor conviction then you can exclude someone based on opinion, political or cultural.

That frankly is the basis for Jim Crow and that the current left is so obsessed with keeping Trump off the ballot that they don’t see the precedent are trying to set….is incredible to me.

I’m hoping that the various opinions are right and SCOTUS shoots this down (from what I heard of the arguments I’m guessing it will be anywhere from 9-0 to 7-2, I’m betting 8-1 with Sotomayor in dissent) but that it even has reached this point frankly is shameful.

But frankly the left’s entire treatment of Donald Trump from the time her won the GOP nomination in 2016 is very shameful and there is no reason to suggest they would change their stripes.

You might recall that when ranking Donald Trump as the 4th best president of all time it was really a question of him vs Teddy Roosevelt who I consider Trump the most like in terms of temperament and effectiveness. TR also had a reputation for physical fitness and mental acuity which Trump also processes and was loved by the common people while hated by many of the elites.

That was best illustrated to me on a trip to Lancaster County PA a few years back for the a Catholic Marketing Network event when a waitress was simply enthralled by the idea that I had met Trump and he had publicly complemented me on my reporting (you’d be surprised at how many doors that closed for me over the years, I sure was at the time.) Given Trump’s success as president that type of admiration is not odd and even justified.

What I object to and still object to has been the almost messianic worship of Trump to the point where if you merely treat him as an effective ex-president or as a candidate to consider for re-election you are not considered sufficiently worthy.. I suspect this is one of the reasons why my friend that I wrote about this week has said in no uncertain terms that however bad Biden is he will not be voting Trump. (I strongly disagree with his position). Some of his followers take this to absurd lengths and frankly it’s reached the point were it’s a violation of the 1st commandment.

That being said let’s cut to the chase. I submit and suggest that a lot of people would not be treating Donald J. Trump as their messiah or a messiah and an object of worship if the left in general and the Biden Justice Department and the various deep blue states did not insist on treating some of his supporters like the early Christian martyrs and trying to publicly crucifying Trump himself for our sin of supporting him and electing him in 2016.

The treatment of Donald Trump has been beyond anything I’ve seen in my lifetime and the irrational hatred of him and the bending of judicial rules and changing of laws in an attempt to destroy him is a disgrace to the republic. The folks at flopping Aces who are declaring the Trump-Carrol case “The biggest miscarriage of Justice in Modern American History” are not far off. I’m rather sure if they could get away with killing him they would. Seriously we’ve reach the point were someone protesting his innocence is considered defamation? Please.

People see how Trump is being treated for his actions which have been in support of the American People and they react viscerally. If Trump was treated like the normal president that he governed as none of this would be the case and frankly if the last election had not been stolen we would be seeing the back of him at the end of this year and those who hate him would be done with him.

That is the source of the over the top Trump worship I see. I understand the source of it. Trump could have led an easy and comfortable life but he decided to fight because he loves America. He came at the right time at the right place to make a difference and the country should be grateful for it, but for me that doesn’t include taking a knee.

As I’ve already noted I’ll be happy to vote for Trump in the general and with DeSantis out will vote for him in the primary as he was my 2nd choice but if anyone expects anything beyond that let me repeat what I I already have already said to those who feel I am not sufficiently adoring of him: “I’m voting for a President, I already have a God.”
