Over the past few days my News Feed on Facebook has been completely filled with this Ware Ma Facebook post.  That is because my friend’s list consists of mostly Conservatives and Libertarians.  We are all absolutely overjoyed that this police department from a medium sized town in the western part of the state issued such a forceful and well thought out condemnation of  Governor Healey’s gun grabbing abomination.

Here are the most powerful and eloquent paragraphs from that post for your enjoyment.

The Ware Police Department would like to bring an important matter to your attention: the proposed anti-gun Bill currently under consideration (HD 4420, An Act Modernizing Firearms Laws). We understand that this state-level legislation has raised concerns among law-abiding citizens who value their Second Amendment rights.

We recognize that the right to bear arms is a fundamental aspect of our nation’s history and an essential component of personal and collective security. As members of the police force, we are committed to upholding the law and defending the rights of our community members.

A plethora of blatantly unconstitutional proposals litter this travesty of a Bill, too many to mention here; however, of particular egregiousness is the criminalization of carrying firearms in certain so-called “prohibited locations”, including businesses and private properties, EVEN WHILE HOLDING A VALID LICENSE TO CARRY. Not even off-duty police officers will be exempted from this appalling mandate.

Gun Free zones have been proven to have no effect on stopping crime, in fact they embolden criminals to seek out these areas as soft targets of opportunity, where their chances of meeting resistance will be minimal.

This Bill does not address criminals. Rather it focuses on making criminals out of law-abiding citizens and further hampers police agencies from combating true crime.

We believe that public input and engagement are crucial in shaping legislation that reflects the diverse perspectives and concerns of our citizens. Therefore, we encourage you, the citizens of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, who have a long and storied history of throwing off the chains of our oppressors (let not this tradition die in the hands of our generation), to actively participate in the democratic process by voicing your opinions and taking appropriate actions to safeguard your rights.

The author of that post got everything right.  He or she must be a scholar of history and the Constitution.  Every word is accurate.  I especially liked the condemnation of gun free zones.

Overwhelming biased news stations is the number one reason why New Englanders lean so far to the left.  The news coverage is so incredibly infected with Democrat propaganda and talking points.  No other point of view is given.  There are few other sources of news available.  Most are unaware that they are being indoctrinated and brainwashed.

The nonstop coverage of the deeply flawed pronouncement that we are experiencing the hottest days ever is proof of how far these stations are willing to push climate change hysteria.

A climate expert at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology is urging action after a new report shows the earth just experienced the hottest days on record.

“I’ve seen a lot of messages that this is yet another wake-up call,” said Dr. Sergey Paltsev. “I’m afraid something is wrong with either us that we don’t hear the alarm clock or something is wrong with the alarm.

Paltsev is the deputy director of the MIT Joint Program on the Science and Policy of Global Change.

“I’m afraid the worst is yet to come,” he said. “So hopefully, this is going to bring attention from policymakers and the general public who will push policymakers to do something more to prevent these extreme events in the future.”

As you can see from the article, the main purpose of this diatribe is to stir up the populace so much we demand our politicians enact something akin to the Green New Deal.

Here are the absurd claim made by supposed scientists.

Earth’s average temperature on Wednesday remained at an unofficial record high set the day before, the latest grim milestone in a week that has seen a series of climate-change-driven extremes.

The average global temperature was 17.18 Celsius (62.9 degrees Fahrenheit), according to the University of Maine’s Climate Reanalyzer, a tool that uses satellite data and computer simulations to measure the world’s condition. That matched a record set Tuesday and came after a previous record of 17.01 Celsius (62.6 degrees Fahrenheit) was set Monday.

“It is an opportunity for us to think about how we can reduce our emissions right now and the tools that we have at hand. There are good pieces of understanding that some of the things we can do can make us both resilient to extreme weather like heat waves and flooding and also reduce our emissions at the same time,” said David Sittenfeld, the director of the Center for the Environment at the Museum of Science.

One obvious problem with the updated narrative is that there are no satellite data from 125,000 years ago. Calculated estimates of current temperatures can’t be fairly compared with guesses of global temperature from thousands of years ago.

A more likely alternative to the 62.6-degree estimate is something around 57.5 degrees. The latter is an average of actual surface temperature measurements taken around the world and processed on a minute-by-minute basis by a website called temperature.global. The numbers have been steady this year, with no spike in July.

Moreover, the notion of “average global temperature” is meaningless. Average global temperature is a concept invented by and for the global-warming hypothesis. It is more a political concept than a scientific one. The Earth and its atmosphere is large and diverse, and no place is meaningfully average.

Paulo Ceppi, a climate scientist at London’s Grantham Institute stated: “It hasn’t been this warm since at least 125,000 years ago, which was the previous interglacial.” And, of course, it was reported that it was our fault due to our “sins of emission.”

This didn’t meet the smell test for the scientists at the CO2 Coalition. We know that previous warm periods were warmer than our modern temperatures. For example, during the Roman Warm Period there was citrus being grown in the north of England and barley was grown by Vikings on Greenland 1,000 years ago. Why aren’t they grown there now? It’s quite simple: Lower modern temperatures.

It has been argued by many progressives that the Declaration of Independence has absolutely no legal value.  That is true.  All legal power and authority for the government of the United States flows from the Constitution.  However, The Declaration of Independence very eloquently conveys the moral and philosophical foundation at the very core of the founding of the United States. 

Thomas Jefferson did not write a truly original document when he wrote the Declaration.  He chose to base that document mainly on the writings of John Locke.  That was because Locke based his most influential works, Two Treatises of Government, primarily on Natural Law.

As you can see from the opening paragraph of the Declaration of Independence, Natural Law is the very foundation of the most famous breakup letter ever written.

When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the laws of nature and of nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

This next quote states quite clearly that Natural Rights are the very foundation of the Declaration of Independence.

We hold these truths to be self-evident: That all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness

This next quote is the most important for two reasons.  First, because Jefferson states that for governments to be legitimate, they must derive their powers solely from the consent from the governed.   Second, that the people have the right to tear down a government that is harmful to the natural rights of the people.

that, to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed; that whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles, and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness.

This last quote warns us that we must have very valid reasons before we throw off the yoke of an oppressive government.

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object, evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security. Such has been the patient sufferance of these colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former systems of government. The history of the present King of Great Britain is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute tyranny over these states.

It is safe to say that the Democrats were emboldened by the successful theft of the 2020 presidential election.  They were further emboldened by the utter lack of any meaningful response from the Republican Party.  That has not stopped them from coming up with more and more elaborate plans to make absolutely sure Republicans will never win another Presidential election. 

The Biden Regime’s latest attempt is rather clever and elaborate.  Unfortunately it would be more successful than anything Acme ever produced.

Through this executive order, the president is abusing the power of his office and using taxpayer-funded resources to transform federal government agencies into get-out-the-vote machines for the left.

Like all other attempts by the Democrats, this one is in direct of the Constitution.

When it comes to elections, the U.S. Constitution is clear: Determining their time, place, and manner falls squarely upon the shoulders of the state legislatures with limited oversight from Congress. Nowhere is the president granted the power to regulate elections.  

Yet through Executive Order 14019, President Joe Biden has ordered federal agencies to engage in overtly political activities that will affect elections, while violating the Constitution and federal law in the process. 

The effects of this Executive Order will be far reaching.

The bad news is this executive order brings the threat of federal election interference to every state’s doorstep. And with the countdown to 2024 well underway, time is running out to stop Team Biden’s scheme. The good news is Congress and the states can stop the threat if they work together and work quickly. 

This Executive Order will deputize every single far left community activist group, making them voter registration power houses.

In one of his first acts after taking office, Biden signed Executive Order 14019, titled “Promoting Access to Voting.” His order commanded every federal agency to use taxpayer-funded resources to engage in voter registration and get-out-the-vote efforts. These are overtly partisan activities reserved for political parties, not government.  

Through food stamps, public housing, Medicaid, and other welfare programs, federal agencies have the resources and ability to target millions of potential voters across every state in the country — potential voters whose information is required to enroll in these programs and who are statistically more likely to vote Democrat.  

The order went even further by requiring agencies to allow third-party groups, hand-selected by the White House, to engage in voter registration activities on federal agency premises.
