Not bad for the 5th straight day of protest in a small city is it?

And what in fact are we protesting, maybe stuff like this:

A new report by the International Planned Parenthood Federation is advocating that children as young as 10 be given extensive sex education, including an awareness of sex’s pleasures.emphasis mine

because we all know how mature and restrained children are concerning their pleasures.

And it’s not as if planned parenthood isn’t doing things illegal these days: Oh Wait:

A Planned Parenthood clinic in Alabama has been put on probation by the state after an undercover sting helped reveal that underage teens had been receiving abortions there without parental consent.

State health officials said the Birmingham, Ala., abortion clinic has until next week to present its plan to correct violations involving minors receiving abortions.

Anyone who thinks kids raised on the internet don’t have access to sex information is out of their mind.

I make the following prediction: In 20 or 25 years (it might not even take that long) all the people who where saying that the war was wrong and Iraq was wrong will talk about how America brought democracy to Iraq and Afghanistan and how they were a part of it due to their protests and desire for democracy and the end of tyranny. (of course they will not mention that the tyranny that they meant was us.) If the same people who write the current history books write them again be sure that this will happen.

Heh. Yeah, just like everybody pulled together during the Cold War.

I heard from Eric Erickson from RedState concerning CPAC credentials

…telling me I would be hearing from him this morning concerning CPAC blogger credentials.

That however is quickly becoming a moot point. I am $800 shy with now 4 days to go and the only reason why I’m that close is that a guest room has been offered to me.

In the last 7 days the “CPAC” fund has been as successful as Eric Idle’s attempts at Camel spotting.

When Robert Stacy stayed here my wife referred to it as “my summer camp”, there was a fair amount of work that it entailed and a lot less sleep than I’m used to, but it was an awful lot of fun. (more…)

Morning Joe is Lionizing Murtha on the War

I wasn’t going to talk about Murtha’s death under the, If you can’t say anything nice rule.

However they are lionizing his opposition to the war on Morning Joe this morning. Joe is now alluding to not perfect: (doesn’t mention Haditha and graft and Abscam by name) only says it in passing.

Just “made some mistakes” Joe, I suggest you take a look at Instapundit’s archive on John Murtha.

Bottom line, lets forget the graft, the empty airport and even Haditha, if we followed John Murtha’s advice we would have lost in Iraq instead of won.
