Israellycool reports that one of their brave freedom fighters took an axe to a teenage boy killing him and wounding a 7 year old boy.

Yup brave warriors them.

Awaiting world condemnation of the act, particularly by peace groups on campus in the US in 293,948,023,023,193,203,203,111,290… 293,948,023,023,193,203,203,111,289… 293,948,023,023,193,203,203,111,288…

I’d use a particular joke about this…

…but it would ruin my average.

The Blog-O-Cuss Meter - Do you cuss a lot in your blog or website?
Created by OnePlusYou – Free Online Dating

That is actually 365.04 lower than the average but is .06 higher than Fr. Tim Finigan who happens to be the only blog I’m aware of that has blogrolled me.

It would be interesting to run blogs on the left and right through this. I suspect that military blogs would bring the right’s numbers up.

If you read this blog you know I like Jay Nordlinger, when I got to meet and eat with him in Boston. I love his writing because he tends to say things that lay things out simply while still having that excellent use of the English language, (A tool I’ve always been iffy on).

Today he illustrates the difference between Israel and the Arab world in one paragraph and a sentence.

Every now and then, I think of the status of Arabs in Israel, contrasted with the status of non-Arabs in Arab countries. And years ago, I was arrested by a news story. I read — I am going from memory — “Prime Minister Sharon’s speech in the Knesset on Thursday was interrupted by heckling from Arab legislators.” And I tried to imagine parallel reports: “President Assad’s speech to the Syrian legislature was interrupted by heckling from Jewish legislators.” “President Mubarak’s speech to the Egyptian parliament was interrupted by heckling from Jewish legislators.” “King Abdullah’s speech to the Saudi parliament was interrupted by Jewish members.” Etc., etc.

Those men couldn’t even be interrupted by Arab and Muslim legislators!

I actually think a lot of the supporters of the Arab world are totalitarians at heart, they just think that if it was someone nice like say THEM running things the world would be a better place.

First there was the silly “choose life” business that outraged the National Abortion Rights league. (I won’t call them NARAL if they think Abortion is good and ok then use the word). Now Gov Kaine of Va strikes again:

Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine, the chairman of the Democratic National Committee, has signed a bill into law banning the use of some state funds for embryonic stem cell research.

The move puts the DNC chairman at odds with President Obama, who signed an executive order earlier this month reversing the Bush administration’s ban on federal funding for research on embryonic stem cells.

The Curt Jester echos my thoughts:

It is nice to be able to praise a Catholic Democrat for a change.

But Southern Appeal has the best line:

Who would have thought that the DNC chairman would be more prolife than the GOP chairman?

Amen!
