No Reporter Wants to Be The Scapegoat for Next Week’s Trump Victory

For those of you wondering why the Hunter Biden story has still not broken through to the MSM even at this point or why the networks still haven’t pivoted to reflect the actual election reality the explanation is a one word answer:

Fear!

I wrote a bit ago that the Democrat Media Academia (and I should add Big Tech) left’s basic plan in Election 2020 was Albert Sydney Johnston’s 1861 strategy in the west to hold back the overwhelmingly powerful Union forces that could strike along a line he couldn’t defend, basically a giant bluff with the newspapers on board predicting his advance with huge numbers into enemy territory at any moment.

Modern Democrats have played the same card (see the MSM on Texas and Georgia) to some effect among their shrinking delusional bubbled and increasingly violent base however….

Unfortunately for the media they have one disadvantage that General Johnston did not. There is an actual drop dead date for this tactic, namely election day, although in fairness the attempt to push the idea that mail in ballots will be enough to change a Trump election night victory to a defeat will likely continue until it’s clear that there simply aren’t enough votes to steal in enough states to reverse the result.

Now that drop dead date is less than 5 days away and despite the best efforts of an army of Raquel Rodriguezes as documented by James O’Keefe at Project veritas, literally millions of people who live in said bubble are about to find out just how weak the Democrats in General and Joe Biden in particular actually are.

And when this happens while we will have a lot of fun mocking the Youtube screamers the violent and unhinged leftists and some of their big money people who have let themselves be deceived rather than facing reality will be looking for scapegoats and that’s the bottom line here each reporter and news agency is asking.

Do you really want to be the reporter or the network these ignorant and/or violent fools blame for the re-election of Donald Trump?

The least bit of action that allows reality to penetrate the bubble will allow said bubble people to point at them to be the cause of the overwhelming victor that these idiots are still predicting from happening.

If they are very lucky the end result of such an action will be a huge financial and status hit, being blacklisted by Hollywood and rich leftists, denied speaking gigs or the ability to profit on the speaking circuit (once it reopens) and it goes without saying that they won’t be able to sell any book to a publisher.

If they are not it means becoming the target of a bunch of violent thugs who have already demonstrated a willingness to use violence against their own allies if they are displeased in the slightest even at their own homes.

There is not one network or paper in general or reporter in particular willing to face the wrath of this beast that they created.

So they will play the game right till election day and profess to the bubble people how shocked SHOCKED they are that somehow Donald Trump has won. They’ll blame fraud, they’ll blame SCOTUS they’ll point the blame wherever they can without worry about the consequences for the nation secure in the knowledge that they will still gain admission to the right parties, be welcome among the Hollywood crowd and still be able to pitch books to the faithful about how they fought the good fight against the evil Trump Empire.

A political horror story – What a Biden/Harris victory would mean for the United States

Halloween is only a couple of days away.  In honor of that macabre holiday I decided to write the scariest article I could possibly imagine.

 With just under a week to go the presidential election appears to still be to close to call. although things are now breaking in President Trump’s direction.  It is abundantly clear to me that the negative consequences of Joe Biden winning the presidency would be truly horrific for everyone living in the United States. It would be more horrific than anything H. P. Lovecraft, Stephen King, George Orwell, or Dean Koontz ever wrote.

Very shortly after a Biden/Harris victory the economy of this great nation would collapse thanks to a return to an implementation of extremely high tax rates on those that produce jobs and wealth.  Joe Biden may claim to be a moderate but his record and his rhetoric paint a vastly different picture.

The economy would also collapse because Joe Biden would implement the Green New Deal to combat the mythical beast known as climate change.  The extremely onerous  regulations, which would drown all aspects of the US economy in red tape, would cause economic dislocation worse than the Great Depression.  The US would no longer be energy independent, we would become a third world nation, despite being extremely rich in oil and natural gas.

Freedom of Speech would be a thing of the past because Joe Biden and kamala are Leftists, and like all Leftists they abhor free speech.  Hardcore political correctness would dominate all aspects of daily lives.  Federal mandates backed up by a stacked Supreme Court would be the instruments of their tyranny.

If your church’s teachings violate liberal orthodoxy then the federal government would meddle in that church and possibly close it down.

The Second Amendment would be destroyed by federal regulations and a stacked liberal Supreme Court.

The violence plaguing liberal cities and blue states would spread throughout the United States because the Federal Government would stop lending support in the form of the FBI and other federal agencies.  Joe Biden and his handlers would make it more difficult for the National Guard to deal with the unrest.

Progressive indoctrination would dominate all levels of our public schools and spread into private schools thanks to aggressive federal mandates.  Future generations would be dominated by brain dead liberal zombies that are still alive.

The Supreme Court would be stacked with the most liberal justices thanks to Biden or Harris.  That damage would take decades to undo.

Elections would be nearly impossible for Republicans to win because the Biden/Harris administration will incorporate all the liberal election stealing schemes into a federal  election policy that will overrule all sate election laws.

The United States would become just like California and then quickly just like Venezuela if Joe Biden wins. All of the damage done by the Biden/Harris administration would be done in such a way to make it far more difficult for Republicans to win future elections. Liberals despise fair elections because they can’t win them.

Hey given the degree of falsehood that the media has been selling lately the fact that the “senior administration official” who was Mr. Anonymous turned out to be a low level aide who was already a contributor to the network is pretty low on my outrage-dar.

Mike Lee’s question to Facebook, Twitter or Google, asking them to name one high proflle liberal they have censored but none of them can think of one off the top of their head speaks gives the lie to big tech’s protestations.

I’d really like the outraged MLB / Bidenball, outraged that Justin Turner who was pulled off the field in the 8th inning because of a positive COVID tested, how being on the field to celebrate the Dodgers World Series win two innings later is going to be a bigger risk than the fact he has been in constant contact with the same crowed for the last week?

At least one voter I know has changed his planned vote on Question 2 in MA from “yes” to “no” thanks to Jazz Shaw’s story on “ranked voting” which explains how it’s another way of putting the liberal fix in.

Finally I have a horrible feeling that the reason Rush Limbaugh has not missed as show this week or last is that he knows is time is up and wants to do all he can to rally the troops for one final battle.

Is Allahpundit really arguing that Trump is running a Worse Campaign than Joe Biden?

You know I understand the idea of having at least one person on the left/ nevertrump on a conservative site. It fires up your base, provides a contrast and maybe you get a few clicks from the left anxious to say: “See see even conservatives think ‘Trump is losing”

But one should at least strive for something resembling credibility and this piece titled Ted Cruz: This Last-Second Hunter Biden Attack Won’t Move A Single Vote isn’t exactly reeking of it as I noted in this tweet:

It’s a heresy on the right to admit that Trump has run a bad campaign. Not even a landslide defeat next week will completely wear away the taboo against saying so, as the urge in the aftermath to shift blame from Trump to others will be intense. Few Republican pols will go on record about it. Trump’s voters are their voters, after all, and their voters will remember if they refuse to join in the scapegoating effort.

But Trump has run a very bad campaign, both in terms of spending and messaging.

Now one can debate various moves of any campaign but one must also remember that an election is a contrast between two people so let me ask the obvious question:

Is it your conclusion that President Donald Trump has run a bad campaign compared to Joe Biden?

You see in a contest one is not competing against some arbitrary pass/fail standard you are competing against an opposing campaign.

Can anyone in general and Allahpundit credibility say that President Trump has run a worse campaign than Joe “put a lid on it” Biden?

Donald Trump has been in key states drawing huge crowds playing not only to his base but to voters who have not voted before and to voters that have not been pitched to by the GOP like black voters. He has pitched high and pitched low. He has punched and counter-punched and has been the voice of an optimistic America.

And we are seeing car, boat and even horse and buggy caravans in support of President Donald Trump

And that’s happening even as Trump votes are being targeted for violence.

In contrast Joe Biden couldn’t draw a stick figure with 100 crayons.

Biden’s rallies are non-existent. He is drawing almost nobody and more importantly, Democrat money men don’t see the need to pay to make sure there are crowds there and Democrat union fixers who would normally make sure that there were people at events OR ELSE aren’t even trying.

Biden has had issues with basic interviews and has had to constantly backtrack on things he’s said and in swing states congressional and senate candidates have run away from Biden statements.

Meanwhile we are seeing things like this:

Here is the feeling I am having: I am a never-Trumper who is probably going to vote for Trump.

Longtime readers know that I find Trump, as an individual and as a leader, to be abhorrent. You also know that I have repeatedly made the case for voting third party.  My reasoning is that we’re in a Don’t Blame Me I Voted for Kodos situation, and that voting third party provides valuable information and incentives to the major parties about how they need to shift their platforms, and thus provides a longer-term policy-directing effect.

The reason I am feeling pushed towards Trump, and at such a late date, and despite my strong inclinations otherwise, is that I no longer feel this is a Kang v. Kodos scenario.  From the right, I continue to see the usual callous indifference to the lives of ordinary people, but it’s just indifference.  The message I am getting from the left is that I am a target they mean to destroy.

I’m not real comfortable with that.

Why is this important? Consider this:

While Donald Trump is fighting hard to expand his margin from last time, campaigning hard in Minnesota, Nevada and New Hampshire, remember Donald Trump doesn’t have to win any states he didn’t take last time to be re-elected in fact

  1. Donald Trump can lose every state Clinton won in 2016 PLUS Pennsylvania and Arizona and the one EV in Maine he still win the election.
  2. Donald Trump can lose every state Clinton won in 2016 PLUS Wisconsin and Michigan and the one EV in Maine he still win the election
  3. If Donald Trump wins New Hampshire but loses every other state that Hillary Clinton won AND Michigan, Arizona and Wisconsin he still wins the election
  4. Joe Biden has to win multiple states that Hillary Clinton did not to have a chance while at the same time holding what she won.

And remember Joe Biden is polling WORSE than Hillary Clinton four years ago in most states.

Now let’s say for the sake of argument that Donald Trump campaign is not as good as last time as if he scored six run vs Clinton but is only scoring five this time around.

The problem is for the left is that Trump doesn’t need six runs this time against a candidate not as good as Hillary. Five runs might be more than enough, hell against Joe Biden 4 will more than do it.

Allahpundit knows this just as the left knows that Joe Biden is heading for defeat even WITH the degree of active fraud in play, but to admit it would chase away the leftists clicking for affirmation which is his primary function these days at the site and thus you have weak arguments like this presented as a serious case.

Now it’s a free country and if this is the case he wants to make he is welcome to do so and Hotair is welcome to carry it.

Just don’t expect any person not in a bubble to buy it.
