I was just thinking…

Just because you have the right to do something doesn’t mean it’s the right thing to do, to wit: While you might have the right to buy your son an AR-15 as a gift even after he has been investigated by the FBI as a potential school shooter but as a father I submit it’s the wrong thing to do.

I simply don’t understand why Elon Musk’s twitter/X/whatever stubbornly refuses to re-instate Robert Stacy McCain. He was one of the first conservatives banned by twitter for the monstrous crime of quoting Radical feminists in their very own words and while there have been many others whose have been re-platformed on twitter Stacy is not one of them.

The number of lonely liberal men in the world must be high because between James O’Keefe OMG, Project Veritas and now Stephen Crowder there seems to be a limitless supply of such men willing to spill their guts to a honey pot who shows interest in them. Hey somebody has to be paying the money to those only fans models.

I think it’s no coincidence that the rise in antisemitism and the attempts to re-write the history of World War 2 (particularly the holocaust) are taking place when the youngest world war 2 vets alive are 97 years old. You don’t have a Dick Winters to come on TV to call them out anymore.

The best move that Dwight D Eisenhower ever did was making every US soldier who was able to see the camps so they couldn’t be denied. I distinctly remember Andy Rooney talking about seeing the camps one day but I (unexpectedly) can’t find the video anywhere.

The Red Sox broke their losing streak by beating the worst team in baseball history The 2024 Chicago White Sox whose current winning Percentage (.225) is a full .025 points behind the legendary 1962 Mets (.250). With 20 games to go The White Sox will have to go 9-11 to avoid the new “Worst Team EVAH!” title (.450). I just don’t see that happening.

Speaking of the NY Mets winning percentage from 2017 – 2023 the Indiana Heat of the WNBA have a combined winning percentage equal to those 62 Mets (58-74) with no playoff appearances, no winning records. In 2022 their winning percentage was .139 (5-31). This season they have clinched one of the 8 playoff spots currently holding 6th but mathematically could still finish as high as 4th or as low as 7th. That’s how much of an impact has Caitlyn Clark has on her Indiana Fever team. That’s a Babe Ruth class impact.

To put that last phrase in context in the 12 season years before Babe Ruth joined the NY Yankees (Highlanders till 1913) they had managed only two winning seasons. Not only would they would not have a losing record with Ruth on the roster (1918-1934) but the Babe would not live to see them have a losing season. He would die in 1948 and they would not have a losing season until 1965

In my 1972 online baseball league by all rights the Cleveland Indians season should be finished. They sit at 68 – 80 with 14 to play 7 1/2 games behind the Minnesota Twins who currently hold the final wild card spot in the AL. However not only have the Twins been collapsing spectacularly (2-8 in last 10) but they get three head to head games vs them next with a chance to get themselves back in it and have a fairly easy schedule the rest of the way. Alas for them the only team with an easier schedule, are those same Twins.

Finally the NFL season has started and will have their first full set of games this Sunday. They opened with the Kansas City Chiefs beating the Baltimore Ravens setting Patrick Mahomes on the path to another playoff season. How Dominant is Mahomes he has only lost 3 playoff games in his career and only one to a quarterback not named Tom Brady. How dominant are the pair of them? More than half of the Superbowls played in the 21st Century have had at least one of them playing in it (Brady 10, Mahomes 4) and the soonest that can no longer be true is 2027.

Democrats have two extremely unfair advantage when it comes to every election. The first advantage is produced by mainstream news outlets.  It is painfully obvious to any rational human being that the media is made up of sycophants and cheerleaders for the political left.

In every election cycle, it is abundantly easier for Democrats to appear to have “momentum” when the media prattle on about their supposed momentum. It is easier to declare Democratic campaigns are “flawless” when the media steamroll over any flaw that emerges. It is easier to look “really smart” when journalists tell everyone you’re smart, and if voters don’t understand you have a stunning intellect, then you’re “misunderstood.”

The media act like the wind beneath Kamala’s wings, and then they praise her flying skills.

Her weaknesses are buried as Donald Trump’s strengths are attacked. She fails to empathize with Gold Star parents whose children were killed in Afghanistan, and the media attack Trump for having the chutzpah to show up at Arlington National Cemetery at their invitation. The only scandals that aren’t fake news are the Republican scandals.

 Just about half the population get all of their news from sources that are extremely biased. They only get half the story and what they do get is extremely distorted. 

These same Americans lack the ability to question what they hear coming from their TVs and read in their newspapers.  They seek out only sources online that conform to their progressive beliefs system, and they attack anyone who dares to disagree with them.  That is because the American educational system was replaces with a Marxist brainwashing conglomeration decades ago.  Here are three quotes by the great Thomas Sowell which illustrate just how dysfunctional our educational system truly is.

The Worst Part About What is Coming is That It’s been Visible for Decades

One of the things that my Pastor tends to harp on is the importance of seeing oneself in the light of truth.

It’s one of the most important things in life because unless you acknowledge reality you can’t solve any problem you might have, in terms of religion Christ being “The way, the truth and the life” means that you have to be willing to face the truth about yourself to follow him. This is why hell for all it’s torments is actually a mercy because those who choose hell, and every soul who ends up there from the Demons on down to the highest and lowest of humans, does so because the presence of God and the truth is to them more unbearable than anything else.

That instantly came to mind when I saw this video from Germany.

Now notice that this is being said explicitly, in a crowd, right to the face of the people there. None of his compatriots are correcting him or suggesting otherwise.

This is also completely consistent with what is happening with Islamic converts to wit

Last April, a teenager in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, named Alexander Scott Mercurio was caught plotting jihad massacres in local churches, “using weapons, including knives, firearms, and fire.” On New Year’s Eve in 2022, a 19-year-old named Trevor Bickford traveled from his home in Wells, Maine, to Times Square, where he attacked three NYPD officers with a machete. In April 2021, a Zion, Illinois, man named Edward Schimenti got thirteen and a half years in prison for aiding the Islamic State (ISIS).

These are just three men who are on a long and ever-lengthening list of converts to Islam who turn to terrorism, even in the United States, and are largely ignored by the establishment media. As everyone knows or should know by now, the media is interested only in shoring up its narrative, not in reporting actual facts. Now another young man has joined their ranks. 

Las Vegas’ KLAS reported Thursday that Joshua Robles, 16, has been “accused of plotting an ISIS-inspired terror attack.” After Robles was arrested last November, prosecutors considered him to be so dangerous that they asked that his bail be set at a million dollars;

That’s from Robert Spencer who with Pam Geller has been warning about the reality about Islam for over a decade and has been rewarded at worst with constant threats to his life and at best tagged as a racist (Islam is a race?) and at best persona non grata in places like England where the menace of Islam has reached a point where the Englishmen who banned him are becoming persona non grata in their own country.

As I’ve warned myself for years the Ghastly Tom Hagen math declare that Islam will only grow stronger in the US and those who are taking over streets in major Democrat held cities are only emboldened by the displays of weakness that they are being greeted with.

Now the reality is that if there is to be a confrontation it is better that it happens now because every day they grow in strength, frankly it was much better if it happened a decade or two decades ago but we choose not to see things in the light of truth and thus we are where we are today.

Islam is feeling it’s oats and it has to be stopped now or fought later and the fight will be a bloody one. It will be a lot less bloody if it comes today and would have been much less bloody if it was stopped before but that’s where we are.

I expect this warning to be ignored and I don’t expect to be alive when the choice between submission and resistance can’t be ignored, but I do know this, when it comes and we face the knife know that we are only there because Western Civilization in general and America in particular choose to ignore what we were plainly told, both by those who warned us of our foes, and by our foes who no longer bothered to hide their goals.
