The prosecutor replied: “Your honor as Col Klink’s direct superior Herr Burkhalter would be complicit in any war crimes committed at Stalag 13, he had a motive to not recorded any acts of brutality by Col Klink’s as commandant of the camp.”
“Overruled”
He turned on the witness: “So you insist that in 3 years under your command you saw no evidence of brutality from Col Klink?”
“Brutality no, STUPIDITY yes!”
