These people share something in common:

  • All were murdered in the last 30 days
  • All were black
  • All were killed in Cities Democrats have controlled for decades, namely Chicago, Baltimore and LA
  • NONE of their murders generated national protests, riots or commentary in the national media and they certainly weren’t important enough to get the attention of NBA players

I’d like the LA Clippers and the LA Lakers players to take particular note of this last batch of names in bold because all of those black people were murdered in LA. Cripes Semaj Miller was only 14 years old!

I submit and suggest that the reason why none of these black lives mattered enough for a group of men who make between six and eight figure to bounce and throw a round ball up and down a court is that none of these black men, women or children were murdered in circumstances that involved police and thus could not be turned into a platform for virtue signaling or attacks on the United States as a racist country or as a political tool to advance a specific agenda.

This is of course in complete agreement with DaTechGuy’s 3rd Law of Media Outrage that states:

The MSM’s elevation and continued classification of any story as Nationally Newsworthy rather than only of local interest is in direct correlation to said story’s current ability to affirm any current Democrat/Liberal/Media meme/talking point, particularly on the subject of race or sexuality.

Now if any NBA player wishes to offer an alternative reason why none of these murders of black men, women and children over the last 30 days in three major cities were worthy of protest feel free to leave said explanation in comments. Since the NHL and other sports decided to give today a pass they can jump in too if they want.

A long time ago I gave the left a warming:

The left assumes that as long as they don’t strike first at the right they can do what they wish.  It’s reached the point where the very suggestion that the right would fight back is almost quaint.

This forgets a basic fact about the traditional American Culture that the left have abandoned:  Americans take a long time to reach their breaking point but if you keep prodding them they eventually reach it.

That’s all the folks in Kenosha they can stands, they can’t stands no more!

About a year ago I tweeted that I thought civil war was unlikely

Portland, Seattle, Washington, Minneapolis and Atlanta reinforced the misconceptions of those folks too stupid to care. Now that people are fighting back they might start.

For those of you worried if we are going to see a full blown Civil War, the answer is No.

But what Kenosha represents what we WILL see if this continues, which is a lot of small “range” wars like the Lincoln County Wars where there is no “formal” war but different groups of citizens shoot each other.

This is bad news for people who want to live the ordinary life that America offers but if the alternative is to let people riot loot and burn I don’t any other solution.

One of the other disadvantages of being on the left is having an education that doesn’t teach actual history but teaches a parody of it that conforms to the left’s worldview.

If leftists knew history they would know that the police are historically a fairly modern invention. For example Boston was founded in 1630. Boston’s police force the 1st in the nation was founded in 1838 over 300 years later and 62 years after the Declaration of Independence. Before then the people who kept law and order were ordinary armed citizens who were not burdened by a lot of rules on the use of force.

It looks very much like that system is about to make a comeback.

For the record I don’t find the shootings in Kenosha funny or good. It’s more like having to undergo a painful operation, you don’t want to have it and there are risks involved but the alternative is much more dangerous.

But I confess I do find the reactions of some on the left online simply hilarious:

I found this tweet even funnier:

and rephrased it thus:

Strange how unappealing a “world without police” is suddenly so unappealing to the left.

Oh and I used the image because the writer blocked me as soon after I replied. Nothing upsets the left more than being called out.

Finally I’ve been saying for a while that the goal of the left has been to produce a “Kent State” moment where they can put a body of a dead useful idiot on display as an attack on their enemies.

Now they have their bodies, but alas for them it wasn’t the national guard or federal troops who produced them.

The media spin on this is going to be very interesting.

Porn Vs Reality A Public Service Message

The prevalence of pornography in society has reached a point where I think it’s rather important to remind people of an important difference between porn and reality:

No matter how many videos you have seen on the multitude of porn sites available on the internet suggesting a different more amorous outcome in this situation, the reality is that if your wife ever comes home and catches you having sex with your mother this is the most likely result:

A mother and her son are facing the possibility of spending 20 years in prison after being caught having sex by the man’s wife, according to police and court documents.

Police were called to a residence on Clarendon Street on May 20 on a report of a disturbance, the responding officer reported.

When he arrived, he was greeted by a cousin of the wife of Tony L. Lavoie, 43, of Clarendon Street.

The cousin told the officer that Lavoie’s wife had called her about walking in on her husband having sex with his mother, Cheryl Lavoie, 64, of the same address, before calling 911.

This is what reality looks like, you have been warned.

Closing thought: A while back 2014 to be exact I wrote a post about the progression of the porn industry showing how the industry was going further and further toward incest as a norm (quotes within the full quote in italics)

If twenty years ago when all of the stuff I’ve written about was WAY beyond the pale, when Porn was not easily accessible to the general public at home,  a young girl actually wondered if this stuff was normal, what will young women think when they’ve been inoculated to this for a decade? Stacy McCain had it pegged:

Popular culture has been so corrupt for so long that many young people are incapable of making any distinction between vice and virtue, categories that sophisticated people are expected to reject as old-fashioned, if not altogether obsolete or, indeed, hatefully oppressive. As for the attitudes of adults, well, they are supposed to strive for eternal youth, to conform both their appearance and their appetites to the fashionable standards prevailing among the most shamelessly adventurous adolescents.

he closes thus.

Welcome to America in 2013. Welcome to the New Abnormal.

And if the New abnormal is where it is today in 2013 where will it be in 2024?

And people wonder why the folks at Netflix still don’t see the problem with “Cuties”?

2024 is still four years away but if you go to a porn site today you will be bombarded with choices concerning mothers and sons fathers and daughters and whole family units doing stuff that would be considered the so fringe of the fringe twenty years ago that Jeffrey Epstein & Ghislaine Maxwell might have said “EWW”.

What do you think the sexual standards of the folks who grew up on this stuff are going to be like in 30 years?
