Yesterday I pointed out that those who are complaining about the Grim Beeper attack; that is targeted attack on Hezbollah members who have been hitting Israel with rockets for 11 months aren’t in favor of peace, they’re just pro terrorists.
Now yesterday Bill Maher accidently demonstrated that his friends on the left are in favor of Murdering Donald Trump to wit:
Bill Maher chastises his audience for laughing at the 2nd Trump assassination attempt: "Let's not buy the lede, the big story this week: They tried to shoot Trump again." *Inappropriate laughter from Bill Maher audience* "Not funny. Not okay to wish it happened." *Inappropriate… pic.twitter.com/xiO35qhUkP
To Maher’s credit he scolds his audience but they still keep laughing at the prospect of Trump being murdered (To be fair the joke at the end was good, I’m of the belief that there is practically no subject that one can’t joke about).
I’ve said this once and I’ll say it again, if I was still a democrat I’d think twice about normalizing political assassination in a country that is both:
Full of guns
Where the best armed people in said country are your political foes
And if I’m the media I’m doubly not pushing this because the only people hated by the right more than democrat pols are the media, who are much easier targets.
Call me old fashioned but as a Catholic I not only state that murder is wrong but I submit and suggest the whole concept of life being sacred and Thou Shalt not Murder is rather useful for a society to have it it wants to function and I’d like my sons to live in a society that has this belief.
Hey if the left wants a post Christian society and so if they want to reject those principles that’s on them but while one can reject principles, one can’t reject reality and as scripture teaches he who sows the wind will reap the whirlwind.
That’s not a belief, that’s just fact.
Closing thought: I’m old enough to remember when the idea that you would complement someone for not approving of political murder would have not been necessary.
I think the only people in the media left whose opinion on Joe Biden should be considered are Cenk Uygur & Bill Maher as they were the only two people willing to acknowledge Joe Biden’s state before June 27 2024.
Given that Joe Biden is the exact same man today as he was on June 26th 2024 when the entire media/left except Maher & Uygur insisted he was fine and dandy and the utilitarian nature of leftist’s like him, can anybody explain to me what is Joe Biden’s incentive to voluntarily surrender either the Democrat Nomination or the presidency?
It hit me today that Joe Biden mental state being what it is might all the lawfare against Conservatives in general (Bannon, Praying Grandmothers etc) and Donald Trump in particular be a function not so much of the Biden Administration/campaign and it’s mentally failing leader but Merrick Garland himself taking personal revenge on those he blames for keeping off of the Supreme Court?
If the left embracing and protecting people who want them dead has only cost the Democrats ten points among Jews, why would anybody think that the revelations about media lies concerning Joe Biden would make a big difference to an electorate whose lives are not at stake?
Finally Boston fans enjoying a young and dynamic RedSox team surging into the final wild card spot and prepare to surge perhaps even higher should not forget this would not have been possible if the now fired Chaim Bloom had listened to all those folks in the media who wanted him to deal away these prospects who are now making their mark.
It never ceases to amaze me how many people are shocked at the acts of the Biden Administration concerning Israel, particularly folks like Jonah Goldberg (a nice guy in person) and friends.
It appears that the folks who could have made a difference but decided to let the steal of the last election slide presumed that the goal of said steal was simply to remove Donald Trump which they were completely on board with. They now appear shocked SHOCKED that said folks had an actual agenda they wanted to push and are using said power to do so.
You mean to say if you let a bunch of bought and paid for crooks have power they might just use it? Amazing!
Apparently the shock SHOCK of Joe Biden deciding to suspend arms to Israel over attempting to destroy a group of terrorists who tired to annihilate them and still hold Israeli (and American) hostages is too much for some US senators.
of the Democratic senators running for reelection, most are staying mum, including those running in swing states. They include, at the time of publishing, Wisconsin’s Tammy Baldwin, Montana’s Jon Tester, Ohio’s Sherrod Brown, and Nevada’s Jacky Rosen. Michigan Rep. Elissa Slotkin—who is running to replace the state’s outgoing senator, Debbie Stabenow—has also remained silent, as have her fellow House colleagues running for Senate seats, Rubén Gallego of Arizona and David Trone of Maryland.
Oddly enough those who are shocked into silence are almost exclusively running in either red or swing states. Senators from deep blue states like Massachusetts, Vermont and Connecticut where even supporting the slaughter of Jews can’t hurt a democrat have no problem praising the move.
Unexpectedly of course.
One person who is incapable of being shocked into silence is James Carville who at 80 is just as loud as he has ever been. However while he is not silent he is in fact shocked.
He is shocked that nothing the Democrats seem to do in this campaign is working against Trump:
James Carville is frustrated that Trump is 'more ahead than he's ever been', and that Democrat tactics are 'not working': "It's going the wrong way. It's not working.Everything we're that throwing is spaghetti at a wall, and none of it is sticking, me included. We gotta try to… pic.twitter.com/OAMsDA37Ng
What you might note in this tirade is no mention of Biden’s policies or the overreaching of the left or the abandonment of Israel or the Economy that’s tanking faster than the Chicago White Sox. He might take a lesson from this old piece written on the day of the Scott Brown vs Martha Coakley election so many years ago: (My comment) in bold underline
If Brown wins today in Massachusetts, we’re going to hear all kinds of explanations. Misplaced voter anger is already being invoked. Coakley ran a horrible campaign. The incumbent party is unpopular when times are bad. It snowed. Or it didn’t. Whatever. The simplest explanation is that a majority of the citizens of Massachusetts oppose ObamaCare. Maybe they shouldn’t. Maybe they don’t realize how great it will be. (HA! DTG) But if Brown wins, the simplest explanation is that the most important issue, health care, was decisive. The voters don’t like ObamaCare and this is their chance to say so.
The actual performance of this administration or the state of the country is not relevant to Mr. Carville. It’s all about the game. He’s a salesman one might even say a master salesman and his product is Democrats any democrats no matter what they do, no matter what they say and after decades of selling a crappy product to a gullible public he is shocked SHOCKED that there doesn’t seem to be enough marks falling for the pitch.
So let me get this straight:
Bill Maher does an excellent eight minute monologue on the media covering irrelevant things for the sake of clicks and agenda:
And then leads the overtime segment of that very same with a story about a Virginia school district that had renamed two schools named after confederates restoring the original names.
Because on a weekend when Joe Biden is withholding military aid to Israel to the point where even Jonah Goldberg’s friends are done with him there is no issue bigger that needs to be addressed than a school named after Stonewall Jackson who died in 1863.
I can’t contain my degree of shock that he might just be another self serving liberal after all.
Finally I laughed aloud when I saw this story out on the Daily Wire:
Speaking on the support that RFK Jr. enjoys from some on the political right, Penn said: “I think that it will drop in half if Republicans learn the views, right now they don’t know these things.”
“And there’s a group of Republicans that don’t like anybody and he’s now the alternative to the alternative,” he continued. “So he’s got some votes, but I agree with you, he would lose a lot of Republican votes if this screen that you’re putting up there really got out and got broadcast.”
Here is the video
WATCH: Mark Penn on RKF Jr's base of support:
"I think that it will drop in half if Republicans learn the views, right now they don't know these things. And there's a group of Republicans that don't like anybody and he's now the alternative to the alternative. So he's got votes… pic.twitter.com/TjDhUXimaf
So let me get this straight, Republican votes are going to be shocked SHOCKED that a President Candidate:
Whose Father was AG in a Democrat administration and ran for President as a Democrat
Whose uncle was a Democrat congressman, Senator and President
Whose other Uncle was a Democrat senator for 40+ years
Who has been a democrat all his life
And who initially attempted to run for the Democrat nomination
Might have a bunch of opinions that are completely consistent with the Democrat party?
My degree of surprise can’t be understated!
Let me tell you something Mr. Penn, any republican who votes for RFK doesn’t care what his opinions are. They just want to be able tell their republican friends at GOP events they didn’t vote for Biden and tell their celebrity friends at events attended by all the “right” people that they didn’t vote for Trump.
It was six months ago today–April Fool’s Day no less–when Dylan Mulvaney, to cap off his 365 Days of Girlhood series, did his first of two social media posts hawking Bud Light. Previously, in the words of Alissa Heinerscheid, who was in charge of marketing the brew, it was a “fratty” beer. The effect on Bud Light sales was immediate–a consistent and sustained 30-percent sales drop.
Immediately, the “experts” in the business world and the media, who are in fact narrative-driven morons with crisp, broadcast-friendly speaking voices, immediately ran to defend InBev, the parent company of Anheuser-Bush, with a consistent refrain, as if they were reading the same script, declaring “Boycotts don’t work.”
While that’s generally correct, the sales drop for Bud Light, a brew that tastes the same as Coor Light and Miller Lite, was in fact a walkaway. “Joe Sixpack,” the typical Bud Light drinker who believes that men are men and women are women–despite mutilation surgeries and hormone injections–found a way to scream “F*ck you” to the elites who say otherwise.
Bill Maher said on his HBO show that the average American is furious because “they’ve had an agenda shoved down their throat.” When one of his guests, US Rep. Katie Porter (D-CA) objected to Maher’s truth, he struck back, “You have to accept everything they say or you’re a bigot.”
So true.
The plummet in Bud Light sales is a major victory for conservatives, as well as the majority of Americans who have known the difference between males and females since they were two years old.
And gender, despite the claims of now former Meet the Press host Chuck Todd, is not “a spectrum.”
Mulvaney, whose ditzy faux female social media posts are about as pleasant as loud audio feedback, as well as the rest of the Anheueser-Busch marketing staff, did what was deemed impossible: killing a cash cow. I had a couple of marketing classes in college. Cash cows were revered by my professors, they are product lines that sell well with minimal advertising support. Heinz Ketchup, Ivory Soap, and Kellog’s Corn Flakes come to mind. The bountiful profits from cash cows are “milked” to support struggling brands. It’s a marketing circle of life.
One of those professors, in a lecture decried the use of celebrity endorsements in advertising, calling it “lazy marketing,” He also warned that celebrities, particularly those from the entertainment world, are known to do things morally objectionable, or get involved with unpopular political causes.
Now Anheuser-Busch is now spending a lot of money on its Bud Light “Easy to Sunday” campaign tied to the NFL as well as producing, again, commemorative cans, but this time with the logos of popular NCAA football programs, instead of a one-off Mulvaney can that was not sold to the public.
Too little too late.
As sales continue to lag for Bud Light, it’s likely that scarce shelf space in supermarkets and liquor stores will soon be allocated to better selling brews. Modelo Especial this summer surpassed Bud Light as America’s bestselling beer.
The Bud Light cash cow has gone dry.
As I predicted here at Da Tech Guy months ago, using transgendered people to hawk mainstream products, while not completely dead, is now close to it.
We have witnessed six months that shook the marketing world.
