When I look at the situation I can’t really believe that people are actually acting in this way.

If it was 20 years ago the media would be able to spin this differently, but in an internet and social networking age there is no possible way for people on social networks to see this for anything other than what it is.

Robert Stacy McCain keep updating and each one is as unbelievable as the last

And of Course it will be hard to hide the DNC’s role in this:

OfA Wisconsin’s field efforts include filling buses and building turnout for the rallies this week in Madison, organizing 15 rapid response phone banks urging supporters to call their state legislators, and working on planning and producing rallies, a Democratic Party official in Washington said.

The @OFA_WI twitter account has published 54 tweets promoting the rallies, which the group has also plugged on its blog.

And after all the self-righteousness of the left they will be hard pressed to explain away the Hitler stuff.

I asked the woman if she thought Scott Walker was like Hitler, and she said “Yes.” So I said, “Are you saying that you think fascism could come to America,” and she said, “It’s what’s happening.”

Jimmie Bise believes the game is over:

At this point, the teachers’ union and their Democratic supporters have conceded the argument. They could not defend their refusal of Governor Walker’s relatively small demands and so they launched into ridiculous ad hominem, violent rhetoric (shudder!), and, eventually, cowardly flight. We should take instruction from what has happened in Wisconsin over the past two days. Public sector unions are, as I have said before, a blight on our states and nation. We should do everything in our power to rid ourselves of them entirely and make sure, by law if necessary, that they can never come back again. It would make me very happy if Governor Walker fired every single teacher who called out sick over the past two days. They let down the taxpayers of Wisconsin and, more importantly, taught their students that it’s okay to lie, cheat, and steal in order to get what you want.

This is not a test of the union, it is a test of the voters. If the voters let this pass then they deserve everything they get in the future from these and the other unions. I can’t see rationally how they can fail to decide that these parasites are not worth a damn.

This is a real wild card, it shows that in the political world you never know.

Update: Forgot to add this excellent point from America is Conservative:

…watching this play out in the news and comparing it to the other headlines where people are fighting for basic liberties really paints a strong contrast to our pampered existence.

Bingo!

One of the things that always drives me nuts is when state legislatures or the congress appoint “commissions” to handle tough problems. Since every single one of those people spend a small fortune begging the voters for the office and responsibility it seems odd after begging for a job to be afraid to do it.

In Wisconsin today the democrats are proving to be profiles in cowardice:

Democratic senators apparently fled the state to prevent a vote on Gov. Scott Walker’s budget-repair bill, which would cut public employee union collective bargaining rights and require them to contribute to pensions and health care.

Law enforcement has been sent to find missing Democratic lawmakers,

Remember these are the same people that campaigned for the right to conduct the people’s business. Meanwhile the protesters/ teachers opposing the governor’s plans to restrain spending are not covering themselves in glory either. But they are covering the capital with trash.

What a difference between them and the tea party. Just to remind you:

Tea Party:

One Nation:

And remember that call for civility? Apparently these democrats don’t:

If you want to know why tea parties poll better than unions, this is why.

As as far as the fleeing state representatives, if they don’t want to do their job, resign! Simple as that. What cowards.

Expect the MSM to play minstrels for these fools

Update: You’ve got to be kidding me:

UPDATE: TEA PARTY WINS!!
The Rockford Tea Party just chased the Wisconsin democrats out of the Best Western. They just boarded their bus and are leaving the Best Western! Run, Libs! Run!

These are supposed to be leaders and lawmakers? You can’t actually make this stuff up can you?

You might have noticed my deafening silence on the brutal story out of Philly concerning an abortion doctor who takes his job rather…zealously.

The left is pointing out, correctly that even under the current abortion laws this doctors actions would be illegal in 50 states.

So as a very Catholic anti-abortion guy where is my post full of outrage? There isn’t one.

To me this is no different from the thousands of abortions that are done every day. To me, the outrage isn’t that this doctor is out there, the outrage is that hundreds of others are killing children every day and are considered pillars of the community as Roxeanne said:

When Ruth Bader Ginsburg writes that partial-birth abortion (performed by delivering the baby in the breech position, stabbing it in the head with scissors with the neck lodged in the cervix, suctioning its brains out, and then delivering the corpse that had been alive moments earlier) is a constitutional right, she sanctions the murder of babies who have already been born – because those babies are no more human, no more special, than the ones who are fair targets.emphasis mine

It brings to mind a scene from the Great Escape:

Ramsey: I have to point out one thing to you, Roger. No matter how unsatisfactory this camp may be, the high command have left us in the hands of the Luftwaffe, not the Gestapo and the SS.

Bartlett: Look, sir, you talk about the high command of the Luftwaffe, then the SS and the Gestapo. To me they’re the same. We’re fighting the bloody lot. There’s only one way to put it, sir. They are the common enemies of everyone who believes in freedom.

To me there is no difference between this guy and the folks in Worcester who do Abortion legally with support from the government and our friends on the left. It’s important to prosecute this man to the fullest extent of the law but as Bob Belvedere says:

For the past one hundred years there has been a stealth revolution occurring in America and one of the fallouts of this silent and insidious upheaval has been the deaths of millions of babies.

Until we stop that revolution or help our friends on the left understand what they are doing it will not stop.

Abortion is the third pillar of the three great American evils that the democratic party has supported. The first was Slavery, the second was Jim Crow and the third is Abortion (Ironically all three target blacks and/or minorities). The day will come when people shake their heads wondering what folks were thinking for abortion in the same way they do on the others.

Last week I talked about how playing with language is a sure sign that something isn’t working out.

Well it looks like the left is going to need new words again:

“Being described as a progressive, on the other hand, is a positive for 22% of voters and a negative for 34%, with 41% seeing it in between,” Rasmussen said.

“But in the previous survey, voters were evenly divided, with 29% saying progressive was a positive description and 28% describing it as a negative.

“This marks a continuing downward trend for progressive which little over three years ago was slightly more popular than conservative.”

And remember they started saying “Progressive” because “liberal” wasn’t popular.

Let’s see, can’t say liberal, can’t say progressive, no wonder communist and socialist is coming back.
