Did Tom Brokaw just say that Germany was sliced and diced by the west?

Brokov just said that Germany was sliced and diced by the west and the Soviet Union on Morning Joe and nobody called him on it.

Am I the only person alive who actually read history? Who actually talked to WW II vets? Did Brokov actually write a book called the greatest generation?

Is he going to endorse the Della Morte article?

What is wrong with these people?

This is a great example of why History is the most important subject in the world, the world has to be constantly reminded of reality because too many people either for personal gain or ignorance or by deception choose to forget it.

A great Bi-Partisan idea:

I’m delighted to be collaborating with Joe Trippi, one of my favorite liberals, on a bipartisan project to support America’s veterans. The project is called the Eleven Eleven campaign; the objective is to get 11 million Americans to contribute $11 apiece to support America’s vets. The campaign will be internet-driven, and all bloggers are invited to participate. Here is a description of the campaign:

This Veterans Day marks the beginning of The Eleven Eleven Campaign — a nationwide campaign by BeyondTribute.org to change the way America honors its Veterans.

The objective of the campaign is simple: to get 11 million Americans to donate $11 to support America’s Veterans.

what many are thinking:

Even if one were inclined to give President Obama the benefit of the doubt and assume that he had asked Former President Bush and Mrs. Bush to visit the wounded soldiers because the Bushes live in Texas, why would he ask this of his predecessor and not get on Air Force One overnight to get down there himself?

Why would he not go to be with those whom he is charged to send into battle and who were so horrifyingly betrayed by one of their own?

Because he doesn’t give a rat’s backside, that’s why not.

Sad to say this is a reasonable conclusion.

…because I was afraid that the left would figure it out but he has let the cat out of the bag:

Right now, they can trade anything — abortion, death panels, whatever. The trick is to plant the seed and let the ratchet effect of Big Government take care of the rest. I said on Rush’s show on Friday that if Barack Obama had been Bill Clinton he’d have woken up on Wednesday morning and begun triangulating. Instead, Obama woke up and figured that he needed more fierce urgency, and right now. The short-term hit in 2010 is worth it for the long-term benefits: Obscure congressmen will be just as happy as obscure ambassadors or obscure chairmen of obscure agencies. And the prize of permanent irreversible statist annexation merits the risk: Governmentalized “health care” puts us on the fast track to Euro-sclerosis and redefines the relationship between citizen and state in ways that make genuine conservative politics all but impossible. (emphasis mine)

This is my greatest fear, once it is in play it will NOT be repealed, it will Never be repealed and when the democrats have the votes they will tweak it over and over.

This is why it must be killed now! If it isn’t it will never die but our freedom’s will.
