Everyone has heard of USA’s series Monk staring Tony Shaloub. It is a first rate TV show and worth your time.
However a monk you might not have heard of is Ed Monk a Virginia high school teacher and playwright writer of short plays.
My oldest’s High School will be performing Monk’s play
Day 6 later this month as part of their competitive plays. I was going over the script with him and it is simply hilarious.
I would strongly suggest that if you like a good short comedy find a local high school that is preforming it and watch it. If it is performed half as good as it is written then it will be great.
