A dim glow in the dark

Posted: November 7, 2020 by datechguy in Uncategorized

Despite a presidential contest with results ever grimmer, Election Day 2020 in most others ways gives conservatives hope. The Senate looks to be held, though Georgia’s January double runoff apparently will decide the matter. Lindsey Graham’s $100 million defeat of Jaime Harrison in South Carolina will look cheap by February.

Republicans gained seats in the House, too, when they were supposedly facing a “blue wave,” though it’s still Pelosi’s House. If the Democrats do tie the Republicans in the Senate 50-50, look for West Virginia’s Joe Manchin (D) to suddenly be the most popular man in the Capitol’s north wing. I’ll take McConnell over Schumer to win most of those battles.

But California, of all places, might be one of the happier surprise for Republicans. While Democrats still dominate California’s House delegation, two of conservative stalwart Orange County’s seats that voted Democrat in 2018 have Republicans now in the lead, though by paper-thin margins. And Mike Garcia in northern L.A. County leads Christy Smith – again, margins to make Gordon Gekko sweat – in the district he won after Democrat Katie Hill resigned after your choice of scandals.

But best of all, California voters defeated several progressive wishlist propositions, proving that in California, there beats a heart where conservative ideas still flow. Prop 15, raising commercial property taxes and undermining 1978’s tax-revolt Prop 13, is currently going down to defeat, 52%-48%. Prop 16, which would allow again for race-based affirmative action in hiring, education, and other arenas, got thrashed, 56%-43%. Prop 18, which would have allowed 17-year-olds to vote in the primaries of elections by which they will have turned 18, also crashed and burned, 55%-45%. An expansion of rent control lost big, 60%-40%. And, with Prop 22 passing, workers can now work as independent contractors again – escaping from the bonds of the disastrous AB5 – so long as you work for Uber or Lyft, or similar gig-type drivers. People love their food deliveries, thank God.

All of this proves California still offers fertile ground for Republicans. They just need the right messengers.

New Assemblywoman Suzette Martinez Valladares, in the 38th District, might be worth keeping an eye on. The daughter of a mechanic, who can change her own carburetor, a one-time staffer to Republican Congressman Buck McKeon, mother of a three-year-old daughter and executive director of a nonprofit, Valladares speaks with ease about both her family’s struggles as well as her family’s tamales, and has a telegenic appeal that guarantees camera time. The Assembly for her seems like but a start.

Nevertheless, California is still California – L.A. voted in a Soros-funded District Attorney, as a little amuse-bouche for you – but for once in a seeming eternity, a candle glows in the darkness.

Today at 3 PM I’ll be talking (and maybe singing about) Joe Biden’s magic ballots the topics will be

  1. An auditor talks about red flags (this piece)
  2. The improbably of Dems losing a ton of house seats, losing the senate and somehow winning because of 4 cities
  3. What can be done?
  4. The real shock concerning these results.

Julio’s Guest Post Election 2020 Analysis

Posted: November 6, 2020 by datechguy in Uncategorized

As you might know I had four bets on this election. Given what we’re seeing and the obvious fraud I’m put in an odd position.

Naturally none of the folks I bet with are likely involved in the fraud but made their bets in good faith, but I also don’t want to pay out if until we know how all this litigation is going.

One of those I bet with is a fellow named Julio, he contacted me last night and said he’s happy to wait till the final court stuff is done (though I offered to pay when states certify before court stuff on the condition that if Trump won it court the payment is reversed). He had earlier talked about hiding Biden as a good idea and last night after agreeing on waiting for the courts I DM’s him saying that he was definitely right about that.

This morning he sent me a DM in his reply with his opinion of how the election turned out and what happened, Said DM presumes it was a straight election but other than that I found it a first rate opinion piece so with his permission and without further ado here is Julio’s guest post DM

We can wait until it’s official official, until the math is impossible, until the courts are over or until you lose hope. That’s why I said “sun is starting to set real low” We’re just almost there. There are things democrats did right and there are things democrats definitely did wrong during this whole campaign. Hiding Biden, the debates against trump, and allowing Bloomberg’s infrastructure and team handle Biden’s definitely helped. Things democrats did wrong were allowing this country to go to hell to make trump look bad. I get it. It’s like playing chess. It was risky. But it killed people. Both sides politics were just using us as pawns. Not going after Latinos harder. There’s a reason why Latinos vote for Trump. It’s not cause of the ideals or anything like that. It’s cause of jobs. Latinos will vote for a poor message bout jobs than the guy saying I’ll just do the opposite. But the best thing Biden did was just say he’ll be president to all Americans. It’s time Peter. Trump did a real good job at dividing everyone with the way he talked. Blue cities, democrat cities, red vs blue. We’re all American. We all love this country. Our ideals will never line up and that’s ok. We need to get back to compromising. There’s Beauty in the country. There’s beauty in the cities. Biden wants to unite and I’ll take that message over the shit trump was saying. Plus at the end of the day there will be more compromise and shitting on the real left than ever. I’m going to get awfully frustrated with this administration rather quickly

Now I disagree with the premise that Trump was trying to divide Americans given what the left had been doing for decades but I like the analysis concerning Latinos and I very much like the sentiment at the end.

I do not for one moment think the avg Biden voter is complicit in the fraud that is going on and frankly I think we need to see more Julio’s on the left.

What do you think of what he says?

This hit new reality TV show garnered the attention of the American People during the early hours of this past Wednesday morning. It is not actually a new series. It has been going on for the past couple of election cycles.  It has only reached the attention of a large segment of the American people this past couple of days.

The series stars a large group of despicable villains calling themelves the Democrat Party of the United States.  It is widely believed that they are a bunch of Marxists who are hell bent on transforming the United States from a prosperous and free Constitutional Republic into a dystopian.Marxist democracy.

What is extremely sad and scary is that this is not a fictional series at all.  It is a true life drama that is playing out now with tremendously serious consequences for every single individual living in the United States.

This Federalist article Yes, Democrats Are Trying To Steal The Election In Michigan, Wisconsin, And Pennsylvania documents the election malfeasance.

As reporters and commentators went to bed early Tuesday morning, all three states were too close to call, but President Trump led former Vice President Joe Biden by comfortable margins—far beyond what had been predicted in the polls. None of the networks called these states because enough mail-in ballots remained uncounted that it could swing either way, but Trump’s position looked good.

Then, something strange happened in the dead of the night. In both Michigan and Wisconsin, vote dumps early Wednesday morning showed 100 percent of the votes going for Biden and zero percent—that’s zero, so not even one vote—for Trump.

In Michigan, Biden somehow got 138,339 votes and Trump got none, zero, in an overnight vote-dump.

It has been apparent to most of us on the Political Right that the Democrats in Pennsylvania were trying to use the Coronavirus pandemic as cover to steal the state’s presidential election through mail in voting.  That was noted by the author of the Federalist article,

In Pennsylvania, the Democratic scheme to steal the election is a bit different. Rather than vote dumps that impossibly go 100 percent to Biden, Pennsylvania is relying on the Democratic Secretary of State’s plan to count indisputably late mail-in ballots as though they were received on Election Day—even if they have no postmark.

This plan was of course rubber-stamped by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, which cited the need for “equitable relief” to address mail delays amid the pandemic.

The stakes are way too high with this presidential election to let the Democrats get away with this all too obvious election theft. The Democrats would use this victory fo fundamentally transform the United States into their twisted vision of what this great nation should be.  That would turn the United States into a hell just like Venezuela.
