The most interesting thing about the spate of “Salvation Army desperate for volunteers and donors” stories in the MSM is the complete lack of mention of the CRT business that caused things to implode.

CRT is the ivermectin of the Salvation Army story that which must not be named

The day the kettles 1st came out in my city I rushed to put money in. The next day the CRT story broke and I walked right by them. Within a week the kettles were gone and I haven’t seen one in the area since although my wife says they’re around..

t might be a shock to some but the Salvation Army but: “Give me money you racist” is not a great business model.

The more I think about it the more I understand why the left is still in full Trump panic mode. There were having excellent success in quietly changing cultural norms and here comes Trump acting based on reality and giving people the courage to call out falsehood.

This is why we’ve entered the age of the big lie. It is now impossible to simply coax people to their own destruction so now blunt force trauma is needed to force falsehoods down our throats.

The left will never forgive Trump for making them come out in the open and the sheep will never forgive him for forcing them to openly choose between bravery and cowardice.

The panic among the left over the popularity of Joe Biden or lack thereof is a good sign in the sense that it suggests they aren’t comfortable about their ability to steal the midterms. But it also means that a lot of the institutions that cooperated in the fraud of 2020 have an incentive to go all in to make sure they aren’t exposed.

The next three years are going to be incredibly ugly.

I see that John Cleese ended up with an ambush interview with the BBC and is unhappy about it.

He should not be shocked at the ignorance of his interviewer. “Higher Education” no longer provides people with the type of education that the Pythons enjoyed. I guess those institutions that they japed about so merrily for decades might have had some use after all.

Personally given his own social media reach I don’t see why he bothered. A few strategically placed tweets will draw his audience better than the collection of media fools anyways.

I see a group of people in NYC were arrested for not providing vaccine passports at the Cheesecake factory.

Maybe they should have told the cops there were just there to loot the place rather than eat, they might have been left alone.

We tend to get the government we deserve. This week a lot of people were wondering what they did to deserve this. The answer is simple: When the last election was stolen you went along with it.

So enjoy the $5 gas, the debacle in Afghanistan, the open borders, the crime and the terror attacks to come because all of these things we collectively as Americans have richly earned.

A lot of people are wondering how the people responsible for Afghanistan live with themselves. That’s easy. When you become a post Christian society then loving your neighbor as yourself is no longer a priority, nor is truth, nor is the common good.

All of these thing were stressed in Christianity and it amazes me that folks are shocked that without it they disappear.

Speaking of shocks I’d like to say I was shocked by the behavior of Mets players going after the fans for daring to boo them after their 3 1/2 game lead became a 7 game deficit in a month.

While ownership is unhappy the players have figured out that even if they lose a percentage of the fans it won’t be enough to keep them from making a nice enough living so they will never have to live like the fans they despise unless they do something stupid with their cash.

Milo Yiannopoulos is very sick with COIVD and is using Ivermectin to counter it. He may or may not make it. If he doesn’t it will delight a lot of his enemies but will disgust the great enemy as he has already moved away from his clutches. If he does make his enemies on the left will be upset and the great enemy will still have hope, but the way things are going it seems to me much more likely that if he makes it he’ll help grab a lot of souls out of his clutches.

I wish him the best either way.

Finally you’ve likely noticed a few odd posts here. That’s because I’ve decided it’s better to have the occasional sponsored post to generate revenue that ads or banners that slow down the site. In the end the hosting and the writers need to be paid for and if people are willing to pay for a post (as long as it doesn’t violate my basic guidelines) I’m going to take their money.

I don’t see why anyone is so surprised at the Biden Administration not caring about Americans trapped in Afghanistan or American equipment or those who helped the US being left behind in Afghanistan. It not like people willing to steal an American election from tens of millions of Americans are going to give a damn about American interests.

There have been a lot of jokes over the last several months about the Biden Administration being “Welcome Back Carter”. That comparison is increasingly becoming unfair to Jimmy Carter who at least didn’t give our enemies 10-40,000 hostages to play with.

A couple of days ago old friend Don Surber complemented Janet Yellen on quickly freezing Afghan assets abroad. While it sounds good let’s not pretend that the Taliban will not connect the ability of Americans to leave the country with the freeing of those assets.

It’s taken a few days but we’re now seeing media start to defend the Biden Administration on all of this. There is a cold calculation here that in the long run Americans won’t care about what happens there and or will believe the media’s new spins on it. Given what we’ve seen from the left over the last seven months I’m sorry to say this political calculation is likely correct.

Oh and you’ll note that I continue to use “Biden Administration” rather than “Joe Biden” because anyone who thinks he is actually in charge is as stupid as the Generals who decided on this policy.

Finally one of my favorite lines from C.S. Lewis’ The Screwtape Letters is this paragraph from letter 13 where Screwtape excoriates Wormwood for letting his “patient” be exposed to reality:

The characteristic of Pains and Pleasures is that they are unmistakably real, and therefore, as far as they go, give the man who feels them a touchstone of reality. Thus if you had been trying to damn your man by the Romantic method…you would try to protect him at all costs from any real pain; because, of course, five minutes’ genuine toothache would reveal the romantic sorrows for the nonsense they were and unmask your whole stratagem.

Right now there are a lot of woke college students, feminists and BLM activist who have been crying “oppression” who because of what is and will continue to go on in Afghanistan are getting a glimpse of what actual oppression, actual pain, and actual suffering is and where they actually sit on the “Oppression” scale. It’s also a bit of a hit to those who regularly scream “Islamophobia” because people are seeing that such a “phobia” of radical Islam has a solid basis for reality.

Whether this is a moment of realization of reality or a moment of anger that the value of their victim status will depend on the individual, but given the rampant narcissism of such folks I suspect the latter will greatly outnumber the former.

You know I’d take Twitter’s assurances that they are simply retraining people who are spreading “disinformation” more seriously if i didn’t have direct experience of them lying about me on twitter for about a month

For the life of me I can’t understand why people are so shocked that a pol who would consent to have a national election stolen on his behalf is willing to openly violate his oath of office. Doesn’t the former guarantee the latter?

As I wrote the day he was sworn in Biden is the first president in history to violate his oath of office by taking it.

At My work they re-imposed a mask mandate so my 18 foot Dr. Who scarf has returned with it wrapped once around my face. Alas while I work in Massachusetts I don’t work at the Obama Birthday Party where apparently immunity rules.

If my wife was not currently sick out of work with me providing the insurance…

It’s amazing to watch people who have been held over Jan 6th being charged with “unlawful parading” and locked up for it after watching DA’s let people who rioted, looted and burned cities off without prosecution. Cripes even the Kavanaugh protesters banning on the doors of the SCOTUS were never charged.

I’m increasingly heading toward the opinion they want to provoke us to an actual revolt so they can kill us with a clear conscience

While Christ specifically states that those Christians at prayer beaten by ANTIFA in Portland are blessed, said blessings don’t apply to the police of Portland who stood by and let it happen apparently under orders. That not a single one of the officers had the courage to risk the anger of their superiors to protect them speaks volumes about those who have not already left or retired and explains why Portland’s sudden attempt to hire police is doomed to fail.

Finally it’s worth remembering that even if the GOP takes the house and / or senate back in 2022 and Trump takes the White House in 2024 the trust that federal institutions threw away will not return. After all the lower downs who have happily enforced our oppression of the last six months+ will still be in place.

Our enemies sure got their monies worth out of this administration.
