Presume they are Lying and Lay Low

One of the bad things about being in quarantine (Both my wife and son tested positive this week, I tested negative) in addition to burning up my sick time less than a week after getting it back is that I’m home to see the news and all of the media has gone completely insane.

Is as if America never existed.

There is a lot I can say about it that deserves a longer post, but I just want to give two pieces of advice that I have taken to heart concerning reporting since the 6th.

The first is to work under the assumption that nothing you’re seeing in media is true and that any member of the press that you don’t know personally and trust implicitly is lying unless personally aware of a reason to think otherwise.

Given the reactions from members of the government it seems likely I will shortly be extending that position to them as well.

It took less than a week for these folks to go full fascist, if they are this bad with only 7 days before they have control of the House, Senate and White House that tells me they’re still scared and scared people are capable of anything.

The second piece of advice is to law low. Don’t get me wrong, talk on Gab, post on your blog and if you don’t mind tweet the truth out, but don’t put yourself out there in the streets or in any protest at least not yet.

Right now those working to give us to China are taking advantage of panic don’t give them a reason for it. If they want to stage a false flag operation make them do it from scratch.

It’s going to be a big jump from what they’ve done to coming for us, don’t let them make that jump with ease.

The blame game

After hundreds—perhaps thousands—of demonstrations over the years in Washington, D.C., how could law enforcement officials have been so poorly prepared for the attack on the U.S. Capitol?

For the most part, that question has gone unanswered as the media and Democrats blame President Trump.

The chaos showed that government agencies had no coordinated plan to defend against an attack on the Capitol.

The U.S. Capitol Police chief, Steven Sund, said he asked his supervisors for the National Guard to be put on alert long before the rioters exploded into the House and Senate. That request was denied.

“If we would have had the National Guard, we could have held them at bay longer, until more officers from our partner agencies could arrive,” said Sund, who, along with other law enforcement officials involved in the mess, has resigned.

Sund said that House Sergeant at Arms Paul Irving rebuffed the idea, arguing he was uncomfortable with the “optics” that such a move would bring. Senate Sergeant at Arms Michael Stenger told Sund that he should informally reach out to his contacts at the Guard and ask them to be on alert, Sund added.

Both Irving and Stenger have since resigned from their posts in the fallout of the riots.

Despite numerous postings on social media calling for violent action, various federal agencies apparently failed to take the rhetoric seriously.

Dozens of posts listed assault rifles and other weapons that people claimed they were bringing to Washington. People discussed what types of ammunition would be best to carry and whether medical personnel would be available to treat the injured.

“It was such an embarrassingly bad failure and immediately became an infamous moment in American history,” said R.P. Eddy, a former American counterterrorism official.

Despite all of the red flags, Washington Mayor Muriel Bowser sent a letter to top federal and local law enforcement officials that warned against massive police deployments. Bowser had complained loudly about the large presence of riot police during last June’s protests by Black Lives Matter.

All of the requests for support came far too late, resulting in National Guard troops arriving hours after the assault started.

“We rely on Capitol Police and federal law enforcement to provide an assessment of the situation,” Pentagon spokesman Jonathan Hoffman said. “And based on that assessment that they had, they believed they had sufficient personnel and did not make a request.”

Ultimately, the rioters are responsible for the mess they created.

Now the politicians are shoveling the blame toward Donald Trump when the House and Senate leaders didn’t like the optics of a sufficient number of cops to handle the rioters.

As a result, the optics got a lot worse.

I don’t think you can do better in illustrating how little state and federal lawmakers and judges understood the cost allowing the steal of election 2020 than this tweet and exchange with Lindsey Graham.

Every state and federal lawmaker who passed the buck can take a bow as the left/deepstate do their best to destroy the freedoms we’ve taken for granted for our lifetime. And believe me they haven’t gotten started yet.

One of the oddities at the conclusion of our first Civil War was that the south ad its people was ready to make Jefferson Davis, the scapegoat for all that happened to him. The treatment of him after his capture how so over the top that not only did it produce objections from people in the North who were all in when it came to the war but didn’t hold with barbarity but it instantly rehabilitated and the southern states and it’s people.

It strikes me that the instant censorship and the move to try to impeach President Trump with less that ten days to go has accomplished the same thing, spoiling their perfect frame.

Trump is going to emerge from this more powerful than ever and moreover it will be a power that will simmer underground in places they can’t see.

As I look at the left/tech/media going wild with censorship and just plain falsehoods and so many going along with it I’m reminded of a line from the movie High Noon when Marshall Kane goes to his old broken down mentor for help and advice because everyone is deserting him

Martin: It figures. It’s all happened too fast. People have to talk themselves into law and order before they do anything about it. Maybe because down deep don’t care, they just don’t care.

This seems to be the way people are taking the sudden and instant loss of freedom. They’ve never lived without it and they never learned it was worth fighting for so they don’t know what it means to lose it.

In ten days everyone going to get an education.

With all that’s happening this story isn’t getting the play it should:

The yield on 10-year Treasury debt rose to 1.1% by Friday from 0.91% to end Monday. With the Democrats winning control of the Senate, the likelihood has increased that Congress will approve spending at least a few hundred billion more dollars to prop up the economy. That means better growth and slightly higher inflation could emerge. Bond yields reflect those expectations.

The idea that Democrat policies are going to produce growth is laughable but the fact that interest rates are going up means trouble. The only reason the spending that’s been going on since Clinton’s days hasn’t destroyed us has been that interest rates have been basically zero meaning that we pretty much were dealing with trillions of dollars of 0% loads. Once rising interest rates are combined with free money it become weimar pretty fast

I’m not surprised that the general public doesn’t understand this but you’d think Barron’s would.

One more economic thought on this subject. One of the things about the Trump Boom was tax revenues were pouring in so well that it allowed states like NY & MA and even Ca to cover the costs and consequences of their policies.

The Biden bust is coming and that will no longer be the case. The reckoning will not be pretty.

Bottom Line: I’m Still With Trump Because He Was With Me

This looks so familar

I remember the day after the Billy Bush tape dropped when all started running away, people falling for the MSM meme, on that day I wrote a post titled: I double down and re-endorse Donald Trump for President of the United States.

Now as more facts come out and it looks more and more like a lot of what is being said about events in DC from the media is false and people seeking power and position are reacting to ingratiate themselves with the new administration and with the democrat/left/tech fascists’ who demand silence or else, contrary to all that America stand for but consistant with their Communist paymasters.

Thus the time has come one again to say it aloud:

I’m with Trump.

I’m with Trump because he was with me. He improved the economy, he fought for life, he fought for Israel, brought peace to the middle east, made us energy self sufficient and fought for what was right. Yeah he was loud and carried himself with braggadocio but he literally took the wish list of conservatives like myself that republicans have promised for decades and took it seriously doing his best to fill it. You have to go back to President James Knox Polk to find a President who has come close to doing all that he promised.

It’s also personal for me. I was and still am a Ted Cruz guy. I would support Cruz in a heartbeat for president. I came to Trump reluctantly as the only alternative to Clinton.

After 8 years of Obama from which I had fallen from a good high paying job with excellent benefits usually working from home on the day he was elected to a 3rd shift temp job with no benefits making less that half of what I was making before the election. I had very little to lose by voting Trump

After four years of Trump I’m still underemployed but I’m at a full time job with excellent benefits and while I’m only at 65% of the rate I was making when Obama was elected I’m trending up.

Meanwhile both my sons, one college educated one not have during the Trump years gotten good paying jobs with excellent benefits and even my wife pay situation has improved.

I’m not alone in this:

In fact, his presidency saw something extraordinary, even if it was all but invisible from the country’s globalized cities: the first egalitarian boom since well back into the twentieth century. In 2019, the last non-Covid year, he presided over an average 3.7 percent unemployment rate and 4.7 percent wage growth among the lowest quartile of earners. All income brackets increased their take. That had happened in the last three Obama years, too. The difference is that in the Obama part of the boom, the income of the top decile rose by 20 percent, with tiny gains for other groups. In the Trump economy, the distribution was different. Net worth of the top 10 percent rose only marginally, while that of all other groups vaulted ahead. In 2019, the share of overall earnings going to the bottom 90 percent of earners rose for the first time in a decade.

As Glenn Reynolds put it at the time “Democrats have a plan to fix that“.

That President Trump did this is remarkable. That he did this with all of DC all of Hollywood, all of Academia and all of media trying to destroy him makes it nothing short of incredible.

In short Donald Trump has earned my support and my loyalty & he’s going to get it.

Does that mean I’ll be supporting him in 2024? That depends. If there is a primary then I’ll see who is there and decide at that time. After all I was a Santorum man in 2012 but I went with Cruz, not because I didn’t like Santorum but because I thought Ted was a better choice. Cruz remains the only person who is guaranteed to get my support ahead of Trump if he runs anyone else I’ll have to judge at the time, but if President Trump is the GOP nominee I’ll have no problem supporting him and if the GOP nominates a Romney or a Romney lite and Trump goes 3rd party, then he’ll almost certainly get my support as well.

So I’m with Trump, I remain with Trump and if it means some people stop reading or some people have bad things to say about me or I face retaliation, so be it.

I expect nothing but trouble for this, both from individuals and from the incoming administration, in fact despite being a minor blogger with a small following I expect retaliation for expressing these views in public.

But I was born into an America where speech was still free and people were unafraid to speak their minds and I’m too old and too Christian to marry myself to a life of lies and fear.

You don’t have to be with Trump if you don’t want to. It’s a free country and as far as I’m concerned people have the right to be wrong, but as for me I’m with Trump

If you don’t like it, tough.
