This book is one of the most conservative books I’ve read. If you take a look at the some of the cultural practices described in the book you almost understand why liberals are so ok with Islam.

A fair reply, and I’ll leave the link for the readers to decide for themselves, but I’ll have more faith in the moderation of Islam with Fatwa’s like the one against Molly Norris are publicly denounced by leading Islamic groups all over the world.
