A Mosque could be built anywhere on the subway line to have easy access, building it near ground zero is a deliberate attempt of Islam to assert power. Every radical Islamist worldwide will see it as a sign of submission, particularly when the towers have not been rebuilt. Pretending otherwise is a delusion of the type we’ve talked about before.
Yet Sarah Palin comes right out and says it. Not only is the uncomfortable truth expressed but it is expressed by the one the left hates most of all. That is why it has driven this “Patrick” and others totally nuts.
Tell you what guys. Let’s take a national poll of Americans and see if they think a Mosque at or near Ground Zero is a good idea. If you want your guys to run on that be my guest. You might manage to win Berkley, SF and Cambridge and I stress the “might”.
I wonder if Bloomberg’s aide would be willing to call the Saudi’s racist since they will not allow a Christian Church in their country. I wonder if that aide would call the Palestinians racist because they insist on an Judenrein Gaza? I think not. This is an example of the “courage” of cowards.

Maybe I’m naive but, I know a few Muslims and what if building a Mosque there it’s a sign from the “peaceful ones” that they feel badly about 9/11?
Muslimism as a whole is a peaceful Religion with it’s “terrorist, extremists”, just as Christianity has it’s Christian abortion doctor’s who live in fear of being killed by Christian terrorist extremists. Our own Christian extremists think they are murdering abortion doctors and find Bible passages to support their claims. I don’t buy that all Muslims are bad, nor are all Christians good.
If you could provided some factual proof that the Muslims are erecting a Mosque at the Twin Tower site in order to shame us, I’d like to hear the facts.

I would have to say that culturally when you look at how Wahabbi Islam works in the middle east is resembles a mafia family.
I also have had Muslim friends but the dynamic when dealing with others within the faith is highly different than people outside of it. You are looking at it with Christian western eyes but that is not how it works.
Right now there is a struggle within Islam, the “Islamists” are well funded loud and not afraid of breaking heads. The avg Muslim who wanted to get away from the barbarity of Honor Killings and Sharia law are finding this following them just as the mafia followed the Sicilian immigrants from the island.
If you want two examples of this trend there is This story today of blind passengers kicked off of busses by Islamic drivers due to “unclean” dogs.
And of course there is the free speech case in Dearborn involving Christian preachers.
There is the fatwa against Molly Norris of Seattle, but the cake is taken by this exchange at a US college this May:

I will ask one question to those who think that muslims are fair and balanced? Have you guys ever lived in a muslim country before? I lived in Saudi Arabia for more than 5 years and I know all the truth. Arabs are one of the most hypocrites people in the world. In Saudi arabia, Christian churches are not allowed to be erected and if you have a rosary in your pocket, you will be imprisoned for one year at least. Why American people particularly the liberals are very submissive to the cause of the muslims? Go ahead try to erect muslim mosque at the site of the 911 tragedy, and you will feel these crazy muslims are laughing behind the back of christians. Palin may spell wrong and may be elites have never made that mistake in messaging (did anyone not get what she meant, ) but always makes sense. She asks the President to meet BP CEO, he agrees and gets 20 billions. Without having anything against a religion, insisting on a mosque at that place is not correct.
