The stunning decision could end the United States’ three-decade pursuit of Polanski, unless he travels to another country that would be willing to apprehend him and weigh sending him to Los Angeles. France, where he has spent much of his time, does not extradite its own citizens, and the public scrutiny over Switzerland’s deliberations may dissuade other nations from making such a spectacular arrest.

it will be interesting to see who in the glitterati associate with him and take NEW photos with him.

The pattern is the same, from Washington to Texas, from Iowa to Nevada, from Maine to Minnesota: Obama workers arrive early at each caucus place and take control of the premises and the process. Hillary supporters are intimidated, told their names aren’t registered, even physically barred from the site. Busloads of mysterious strangers arrive and cast votes for Obama. Sign-in sheets disappear; voter tallies are falsified. Over and over and over again, the pattern is the same.

How did this happen? Simple. The Obama campaign spent the entire year prior to the election planning the whole thing out. They saw an opportunity to game the system and they took it. At “Camp Obama” training centers, Obama campaign officials schooled volunteers in the fine art of stealing caucuses. And I have to hand it to them: they did a great job. When Obama points to his campaign as evidence of his executive experience, I’m inclined to agree. He’s definitely proven himself to be an executive-level criminal.

Do I sound angry? I am. There’s something about elderly women being bullied and denied the chance to vote — for a woman for President! — that makes me a little hot under the collar. Whenever somebody talks about Obama as the progressive candidate, the democratic candidate, the agent of hope and change, it’s all I can do anymore to keep from puking.

My post was a year ago and referenced Violet’s posts from a year earlier. To give you some perspective the above post was from October 15, 2008, Ted Kennedy was still alive, Scott Brown was an unknown state senator, a Tea Party was what little girls had with friends, Charles Johnson was still sane, and this blog didn’t exist. It’s so long ago that I was gainfully employed working 40 hours a week at a job I loved!

I posted about this back in August 2009 saying explaining why he he can’t allowing anything to happen on the Gladney case:

I wonder what would happen if they talked? After all presidents come and go but the Union will still be there.

She has several posts on the subject of the president’s primary tactics going back as far as September of 2008. In fact the declarations of objections is dated July 4th 2008.

The significance? These things were known by the left two years ago. There were some on the left who wanted to get it out, to shout it to the rafters and they were shut down. They understood what was coming and wanted to prevent it. Some like Lynette Long voted for Palin and were excoriated for it, others like Violet here voted for Cynthia McKinney (ugh).

Now Violet here and I violently disagree on Religion, Abortion, George Bush, the War, the Economy etc. By every measurable standard she is very far left, in her eyes by every measurable standard I am very far right but let me tell you something. She is honest and honorable. She saw this happening two years ago and unlike the media or most democrats she (like Hillbuzz) absolutely refused to go along with it because as she put it on August 28th 2008:

Who will be the first African-American to win the nomination of his or her party without cheating?

Because, you know, it’s not Obama.

As you listen to Opossum’s speech tonight, just think of all those busloads of people from Illinois arriving to pose as Iowa voters in the caucus…and all those thugs in Texas physically barring Hillary supporters from voting…and all those union fixers in Nevada dropping Hillary ballots in the toilets…

If you didn’t understand why the DOJ will not investigate the black panther stuff, you do now.

The best way we can describe the feeling we have when we think about the DNC is to remember what the human characters on the TV show “V” felt like when they saw the masks ripped off the “Visitors”, revealing them to be lizard people underneath. Even people who had been helping the Visitors, and trying to convince others that they were really here to “serve the human race” in the non-cook book sense were instantly transformed into Resistance fighters when they saw what really lurked behind those masks.

So it is for many lifelong Democrats out there, including such prominent names as Lynn Forester de Rothschild as well, who will never look at the DNC the same way again…not after its mask has been ripped off so spectacularly.

One of our greatest frustrations in life remains the fact that we were never able to get the Media and American public interested in the truth about Obama’s fraud and intimidation during the 2008 primaries, but we see clearly now that America just wasn’t ready to face the truth about Obama yet. They didn’t want to see who he really is, or what he did to get to where he is. They wanted to believe the myth Tim Russert, Chris Matthews, and Keith Olbermann promoted heavily on MSNBC. Anyone who spoke the truth was attacked, maligned, and destroyed…like the contemptible little boy who had the audacity to tell the world the corpulent, over-indulged emperor had no clothes.

Well, it sure feels like Americans are more willing to listen to the naked truth about Obama now.

Now the MSM will ignore this as they did in 2008, but I don’t think the American voter will.

The Yemeni-American cleric Anwar al-Awlaki – the radical who’s also been cited as inspiring the Fort Hood, Tex., massacre and the plot by two New Jersey men to kill U.S. soldiers – singled out artist Molly Norris as a “prime target,” saying her “proper abode is Hellfire.”

I formally declare you a barbarian preaching a barbaric version of a false religion. Only the fact of your humanity and creation in God image combined with the Christian requirement to love your enemy prevents me from wishing you damned.

who believes in the first amendment I am ethically compelled to stand with Molly Norris. If you come for one of us you are coming for all of us, and we will defend ourselves against both you and your minions.

Therefore in that spirit I formally request to be included in your Fatwa, because if you get Molly Norris I will host my own Everybody Draw Mohammad and Al-Awlaki Day here and ask my readers to send drawings of Mohammad and of you to be posted and laughed at as you deserve.

I also formally call upon other bloggers to pledge to host an Everybody draw Muhammad and Al-Awlaki day if these barbarian bastards manage to get her and suggest that you put up a post with the tag I stand with Molly Norris as soon as possible to show your support for both her and the first Amendment. I particularly call on our friends on the left who claim to value free speech so greatly to prove it.

I further call upon every US Mosque to publicly denounce this Fatwa and call for its removal.

We are Americans, we stand together Mr. Al-Awlaki. We defy you and your utmost malice.

The thing is, people like Anwar al-Awlaki don’t accept apologies. If you don’t believe what they believe, they don’t care about your regrets. They don’t want you to talk at all. Even if you live in Seattle and you live liberally and you draw cutesy little cartoons and you congratulate yourself for being “progressive.” Even if you’re just kidding. These thugs don’t care. They want you dead.

Update 3: WordPress has announced support for something called the 1forall campaign in favor of the 1st amendment. Strangely enough although some commentators mentioned Bush and the patriot act and the oil spill nobody had mentioned Molly. I’ve put a challenge in comments to join me in Supporting Molly Norris and opposing Al-Awlaki. I’ll let you know what they say.

Too late. Contrition doesn’t carry much weight in Islam. No one has a right to offend Islam, or blaspheme against it. Whether Mohammad is depicted as a pedophilic ogre, as a knock-off of Charlton Heston’s Moses, or as a teacup, it matters not. It is forbidden. “Sorry” doesn’t cut it. Facebook also caved to Muslim demands and took down the page.

Monopoly & Groo the Crash and Burn version

Does Monopoly look become boring after a while? Want to spice it up. Our gaming group has figured out a way. Combine it with GROO the Cardgame!

What you need to play;

A Standard Monopoly set.
One Groo movement dice from the Groo Game
A Groohead dice from the Groo game
Either a second Groohead dice OR a Groo miniature.

Special Groo Rules:
Groo is the last player who moves. Roll the regular dice, the Groo Dice and the Groohead dice.
Move Groo the number of squares indicated on the dice adjusted by the Groo Movement dice. (Left or right) as shown. Then examine the Groohead dice.
If the result is anything other than Groohead continue to the next player.

If a Groohead comes up Groo being Groo causes destruction as Follows:

If the property contains a Hotel It is reduced to 4 houses
If the property contains houses one house is removed.
If the property contains no houses it MUST be mortgaged. The owner of the property gets no compensation for this.
If the property is mortgaged then it is returned to the bank
If the property is unowned then it is Mortgaged WITHIN the bank. A player who lands on it may purchase it but it must be purchased as a mortgaged property and unmortgaged per regular rules
If groo lands on a unowned mortgaged property that property is permanently removed from the game the set may not be acquired or built upon.

Groo has the following effects non-property squares:

Nobody may collect money from passing GO if Groo is on GO
If Groo lands on Free Parking any money is the middle goes back to the bank.
If Groo lands on chance and/or community chest draw the card shown. If he is moved to a location treat said movement as if he landed there.
If Groo is already on a property owned by a player that contains houses and the player draws the “pay for house or hotel card” ALL houses on that property are removed (Groo attempts to help repair said property with predictable results)


Groo Rampage
If Groo lands on chance or community Chest and draws Pay for each house or Hotel all properties on the board lose one house.
If Groo lands on Just visiting all players in Jail immediately roll one dice and move away from the jail. All players ignore any “Go to Jail” result if Groo is visiting.

Sharing a space with Groo.

If Groo lands on a property that you are on there is no additional effect all damage is to the property.
If you are on a “paying” space (such as Luxury Tax) and Groo lands on it you must pay the price of the property a second time.

If you land on Groo you must pay him to go away. The cost to make him go away is equal to price of the property that you are on. A “Get out of Jail Free” card may be used.
If you land on Groo when he is not on a paying property do not roll the dice for Groo he will move with you with the following effects:

You may not collect any money from any properties you own instead you must pay to the bank any amount you would have collected due to Groo Damage.

If a fray takes place while Groo is traveling with you, lose a turn and all your cash on hand.

These effects continue until Groo is paid off and moves away.

A Fray:

If an attempt to send Groo to Jail takes place due to either a card draw, doubles or the landing on the Go to Jail space a Fray takes place with the following effects:

Any and all buildings on the property Groo is on are destroyed.
If there are no buildings on the property treat it as if Groo just landed there.
Roll one dice, all players within the number of spaces of the dice roll lose one turn due to residual Groo damage.

The victory conditions are the same last surviving player wins, there is a chance that all remaining players will go bankrupt at once, in that case Groo wins.
