Yes you’ve read that right as of 12/2/2010 the ad space on DaTechGuy on DaRadio is completely and utterly SOLD OUT!

I owe a debt of gratitude to the customers, listeners and guests who have made this possible. You have my undying thanks.

If you were hoping to advertise on DaTechGuy on DaRadio we have two waiting lists that we can put you on:

Reserve advertiser list

This consists of potential advertisers who wish to join the show if any current advertiser chooses not to renew when their time is up.

If you wish to get on this list please contact me with:

  • The name of your company campaign blog etc
  • the amount of advertising you wish
  • if you would accept a lesser amount of advertising if available

Preference will be given in the following order.

  1. Existing customers
  2. Previous customers
  3. People who give a deposit (20% fully refundable if time is unavailable) for the time desired
  4. Asking first

There is also

The Second Hour list

These are Advertisers who wish to buy time on a second hour once I get it. Like the first hour there will be 12 minutes of advertising time available. Any customer who commits to advertising on the second hour before it begins will be locked into the current pricing schedule.

Preference will be given in the following order to reserve time in the second hour

  1. Customers on the reserve advertising list
  2. Existing Customers
  3. Customers who pay in Advance
  4. Customers who put down a 20% deposit
  5. Previous customers
  6. Customers who commit to 13 week term
  7. Order of request

And may I point out there is still a limited amount of available time on the show that precedes mine: Conservatively Speaking featuring Mike Wade and John Weston with me as 3rd to 4th Banana. Conservatively speaking is a quality show and John and Mike will do their best to accommodate you.

Whatever option you choose we will all be delighted to make you part of the best night of talk on the radio or internet!

After a very nice segment on WCRN with Howie Carr promoting his Boston show, Rob Schneider has apparently decided he isn’t interested in attracting supporters of Sarah Palin to his stand-up show or the movie he is writing with this quotes at the end:

“I would xxxx Sarah Palin but I’d wear a condom because I wouldn’t want my xxxxx to catch stupid.”

Just the type of joke you want to tell between 6-7 p.m. in the evening isn’t it?

And of course the next step is to offend Obama supporters:

I wouldn’t hire Obama to run a Kinkos.

Well done Schneider. That doesn’t even get into this insistence first that Obama not say there were 57 states; then saying he must have been joking.

He still is a funny guy.

Market Basket knows what day it is!

For having this picture in their window.

Market Basket is handling this exactly the right way. By putting a sign that explicitly says Merry Christmas they are eschewing the political correctness that has frightened and intimidated the multitudes.

What many business don’t understand is that by trying to placate a vocal and angry minority they actually upset the vast majority of customers who have many other alternatives for shopping. When I see “Happy Holidays” as opposed to Merry Christmas I am inclined to spend my money elsewhere and I’ll wager a lot of other people are too.

And for the few in the “tolerant left” who do not want “Merry Christmas” on anything Market Basket has not ignored your, nor have they ignored those who don’t celebrate Christmas but are not as easily agitated as some. Take a look at the poster next to the first one

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, Side by side in perfect harmony

This allows everybody to take a deep breath, the explicit Christmas poster allows them to say “Happy Holidays” elsewhere without insult because of the acknowledgment of the actual federal holiday that the country celebrates.

Would that more business’ had that degree of courage and common sense.

as Stacy is reporting, lets remind them of this ad:

…and we all know how that worked out don’t we?
