If you were busy having a life with family and / or friends on Christmas day like most people then you may have missed our excellent Christmas show.

But no worries, thanks to the miracle of uploading the file show 6 with the Curt Jester, Damian Thompson and James Marley is available online right here.

And of course it will be available in the archive on the side as long as the blog is here.

Remind me why they deserve a state again?

Remember the idea “oh if only the Jews give up Gaza THEN there will be peace?” Well think again:

He admitted for the first time that Hamas was responsible for the massacre of young men, most of them teenagers, at the yeshiva. The attack was carried out by a Jerusalem Arab.

Obadiah also said Hamas was responsible for the murder of seven other Jews in attacks in the Hevron area and Samaria. He warned Israel that Hamas will continue to attack Israelis, who he said have to choose between “death and leaving Palestinian lands.” He also called on Israeli Bedouins, many of whom have been involved in terrorist attacks and arms smuggling, to help carry out attacks Israelis.

The fact is nobody actually paying attention to what Hamas and the “Palestinians” say has any delusions about what they have in store for Jews. And let’s face it Christian Arabs aren’t fleeing the area because they decided they wanted a cooler climate.

The usual suspects have ignored this for years, but for some reason if you do a search for “Christians fleeing Bethlehem” in Google, under news the results are spotty at best and if you do the same search in Bing there are a bunch of stories about “Iraqi Christians living in fear”.

Now I don’t like Christians living in fear anywhere but funny how the MSM only notices this in Iraq. Isn’t it?

…here is your chance to put your money where your mouth is. Now instead of mailing the treasury a check I did (via the Surber Challenge) you can go here online and give the US government as much of your money as you want.

So Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Ted Turner, George Soros etc al, instead of giving to your homemade “foundations” that may serve your political opinions (but count as a charity come tax-time and employ friends on the left) here is your chance to actually reduce the public debt. I’m sure that your faith in the government to use your money wiser than you can will be rewarded.

You know it when you dream that your wife has taken you to a shop that specializes in Doctor Who stuff and in the dream the owner hands you a 14 foot Tom Baker Scarf and you wake up just as he hands it to you and am about to put it on!

You would think at age 47 I wouldn’t wake up with a huge smile at that point but I did. Sometimes I think men at heart never stop being kids. (The proof is yesterday my youngest got the Complete Three Stooges Yesterday and when he went to call his 55-year-old uncle to tell him his delight that same uncle shared his own delight at the very same gift!)

Speaking of which don’t think we didn’t notice that during yesterday’s Doctor Who Christmas special A Christmas Carol (which BBC America sneakily put on at the same time as my show, so I had to watch the steam online several hours earlier) that the little kid was wearing a Baker scarf at one point given to him by the 11th Doctor.

Other than the opening which makes Christmas simply the “winter solstice” (consist with the praying to Santa nonsense in The Eleventh Hour and the ignoring of the consequences of non-timelords meeting themselves in a time-line (Maudwin Undead) it was a cute sentimental story that is very enjoyable.

However I didn’t find it timeless, I have a nasty feeling that Steven Moffat is stuck on the same gimmick and can’t get off of it. You will like it but will you want to watch it again and again?

There’s the rub.
