Oh Please PLEASE Br’er Democrats Don’t Force a Party Line Vote on Funding ICE!

I think some of the wisdom of Donald Trump might be rubbing off on the GOP.

I know this is generally considered “the stupid party” but there seems to be a glimmer of it on the shutdown votes.

For context let me remind you of what I wrote concerning Donald Trump & the Epstein files a little bit ago:

I think he’s going to let the Epstein stuff play out as far as he can all the time saying to people like Elizabeth Warren:

“Oh please Please Br’re Pocahontas don’t throw me into the Epstein patch!”

And then when the left is fully committed to both the release of the information and harsh punishment for all those involved (including all those who have given them millions upon millions over the years) and then BOOM!

When that time comes and the decides to give them exactly what they want, a lot of very rich and very bad leftists and their funders will find themselves in trouble meanwhile Donald Trump will be hopping away singing:

“Born and bred in a Briar Patch!”

And will hop away while the left convicts themselves.

This is pretty much turned out as I predicted as leftist from Reid Hoffman to Bill Gates are scrambling to do damage control & the Clintons try to figure out how to testify to congress on the subject without pleading the 5th.

This of course could be predicted by anyone who doesn’t by the MSM propaganda and has actually paid attention but the left doesn’t think that way. Their primary goal is to win the current news cycle and to keep their base angry.

That’s why I’m delighted at the fact that ICE funding is coming up again in two weeks.

It’s is very possible and even probable that our friends on the left who decided a short term shutdown was NBD to take a stand vs ICE think that a party line vote on funding ICE is a good thing to fire up their base, particularly with former GOP leaders speaking against the agency.

One might have thought that they would have learned from their pushing of Liz Cheney that people who GOP voters disagree with don’t have a lot of sway with conservative votes, no matter how much the MSM thinks otherwise but apparently not.

Let’s go to the polling:

The survey found that calls to defund ice are “politically toxic. When voters are told Democrats want to defund ICE or even shut down the government to stop ICE from enforcing immigration law, the political fallout is immediate and severe.”

  • The generic ballot flips from D+4 to R+0 if Democrats oppose ICE.
  •  If Democrats force a shutdown to defund ICE, Republicans take a 2‑point lead; that’s a 6-point shift away from Democrats over a single issue.
  • Swing voters shift a staggering 16 points toward Republicans under a shutdown scenario.

The results indicate that Democrats do not view illegal immigration as a “serious national problem.”

But nearly all Republicans (97%) and 60% of Independent voters see it as a major problem. Overall, 64% of midterm voters and 71% of swing voters agree.

But apparently none of that matters to those in the land of the bubble.. It’s going to be unreasonably easy for the Democrat left to smile and celebrate when ICE funding comes up for a vote in two weeks and passes on a strict party line vote.

Ladies & Gentlemen:

I would like to call to your attention the recent spate of healthcare workers doing the following:

  1. Openly calling for the death of political opponents
  2. Openly calling for healthcare workers to injure patients with political views they dislike
  3. Openly calling for healthcare workers to not treat patients with political views they dislike
  4. Actually refusing to treat people due to political opinions
  5. Openly taking public political opinions as representatives of the industry or individual healthcare facilities

Needless to say this may be problematic in terms of publicity but I would like to point out a far greater risk to your business than simply bad press.

Medicine, for all its advancements is still an inexact science.

Unlike engineering where the tolerances for various metals and structures can be predicted if the products are properly made, different people will react to treatments differently. There is always a chance that a problem will arise with any med or any treatment or any procedure.

Of course there is always the factor of human error which can be reduced by vigilance but by nature never completely eliminated. Which is why Doctors & Nurses and healthcare workers with any sense carry malpractice insurance.

Now consider for a moment a conservative who comes to one of your facilities, a facility where the doctor, or the nurse, or the person passing meds or even the kitchen staff has been posting on public social media their disgust at conservatives &/or calling for their harm.

Think of what happens if an open conservative comes to your facility for any sort of treatment and has

  • A reaction to meds
  • An adverse reaction to a procedure
  • A bad complication
  • An unexpected death

In any of those cases the patient and/or the family naturally questions why this has taken place. What kind of conclusion might be reached if any of those online political activities come to light concerning any person involved in his or her treatment? How fast will the family conclude that this was not part of the normal risk of treatment but a deliberate act against a perceived “enemy”?

How quick do you think a family like that will decide to sue?

How fast will such a suit become a cause célèbre in the conservative community?

How quickly will pols seeking to make hay grab onto such a case?

How much would that cause previous patients and their families to give scrutiny to any past visit that did not have a satisfactory outcome?

And most importantly will the insurance company that covers your facility decide at best to raise the rates they are charging because of the risk or fight any payout on the grounds that a deliberate failure to provide the proper care is a criminal act?

All of those risks are after the fact, consider this:

A medical college that openly pushes to radicalize doctors or nurses to consider those who don’t share an instructors hatred of conservatives or ICE or Trump as not worthy of treatment.

Can you imagine the risk you will have if you hire a graduate of such a program? Can you picture all of those consequences I already named exacerbated by hiring a person who has done any of those things listed above or marched in events during their college years? The negligence argument writes itself.

That being said I offer the following suggestions:

  1. Instruct your HR departments to screen potential hires social media posts for any such statements supporting violence as noted above.
  2. Instruct your HR departments to inform colleges that train medical professionals that candidates from any facility whose program is even perceived to encourage bias based on political affiliation will not be considered for any position
  3. Discharge any person who has precipitated in any of the above actions
  4. If discharge is not possible due to contract limitation give written notice that any such behavior as noted above will result in immediate discharge from the facility & a lawsuit to recover damages by the facility
  5. Implement immediate training for existing staff to make it clear that any such action will result in immediate discharge & a possible lawsuit to recover damages
  6. Implement training for all new hires to make clear that any such action will result in immediate discharge & a possible lawsuit to recover damages.
  7. Make such a policy an official policy of your facility

Such actions will protect you and your facility from the enormous financial risks involved in this behavior contrary to the best traditions of the medical profession.

It’s your call.

I suspect more than a few people are looking at Minnesota and wondering why we are seeing what we are seeing. Why is the left going all out including violence to protect illegal aliens and why are Democrats nationally defending these actions and even making threats concerning them?

The answers is really quite simple at least to me.

  • I suspect the sheer volume of dollars being stolen dwarfs anything that we suspect
  • I suspect the sheer number of Democrats getting rich off these dollars is larger than we suspect
  • I suspect the sheer number of illegal votes being produced by this enterprise is enough to steal a state
  • I submit that access to those dollars nationally is why Harris picked Walz as her VP choice
  • I suspect that this is going on in other blue states whose pols rather keep scrutiny on Minnesota
  • And I suspect key GOP members in those other states are being rewarded for ignoring it

With a large community like the Somali’s voting as a block that’s hundreds of thousands of votes. That’s enough votes to transform a state and all the Democrats had to do in order to secure these votes (legal or illegal) was to open up those bank doors and let the cash flow, so that means even if there is illegalities they are going to play ball because that means the state is secure no matter what the average citizen wants or things.

If this type of thing is happening in Minnesota it’s very likely that it’s happening in other blue states like Maine, Illinois, Washington and California. There are already signs that fraud is becoming apparent in these other places. You would think that they would want this story to go away but national democrats have gone all in on Minnesota. They understand that if massive federal resources have to go to Minnesota to stop the fraud and violence those resources can’t be used to see what’s going on in Maine, or Illinois, or Washington or California.

It’s a losing fight in the long run but every day of delay is a day that the grift can go on elsewhere and the evidence can be destroyed or hidden elsewhere and those days and that graft is precious to those Democrats as the lives of their children, likely even more.

You might wonder why some GOP governors like the governor of Ohio is saying things like fraud being “The price of doing business”. It’s quite simple. While in blue states they left has control of the state in red states their control is limited to cities, but that means votes in the legislature, votes that can be given or withheld at the party’s whim. As the graft is the priority since it makes people rich, as long as the graft & fraud is left alone they can make deals. And if such a deal means that there is a key rep absent for a vote that a high ranking GOP official needs a priority that’s bigger politically then saving federal dollars, well as the governor says, that’s the price of doing business.

Well the moment that the left has been waiting for and working hard to achieve has finally come.

Lefty pols, lefty press and lefty activists have been doing all they can to produce a dead body that they can decide to lay at the feet of Trump and ICE and now that has come to pass. Several thoughts:

  1. Do not think for one moment that the pols the activists and the press are sad about this woman’s death. I submit and suggest they are absolutely delighted. This has been their goal for almost a year and they’ve done all they can to produce it. While they might have preferred a person of color to be the body in order to cry “racism” the fact that this is a white lesbian woman with children will fill the bill in other ways for them. While publicly they will wail and gnash their teeth I assure you privately they are overjoyed, particularly at the prospect of taking Minnesota fraud out of the news loop.
  2. I feel bad for the dead woman in question and her family. Not because her actions didn’t warrant getting shot, trying to run over a federal agent is a fine way to get yourself killed but while it’s possible that she was all in on the “ICE is the Gestapo” business based on reporting she was persuaded to come down and her lawfully married spouse who was busy was busy blaming herself for making her come down there. Now her dead body and her family are going to be exploited again by the left and used as a prop. You’ll see tearful pols and angry leftists screaming bloody murder and talking fondly of the dead as a brave warrior for freedom when she was in fact a useful idiot who is more useful now that she’s dead than alive.
  3. This will have one of two effects on the rest of the useful idiots out there being paid to harass ICE who should at this point realize: “Oh my God this could have been me!”. I suspect given the idiocy of the left we will get a lot more of the 2nd than the first.
    • What the hell am I doing out here risking getting killed? The money isn’t worth it, I’m being used!
    • This lady will be remembered as a “hero” If it happens to me my life will have meaning and purpose at last!
  4. The fact that there is plenty of video evidence that this woman refused to leave her car when ordered and was trying to run down the Ice agent (whether due to panic or malice) will be immaterial to either the leftist pols or the leftist media or anyone else. Their narrative is out there and no actual physical evidence will matter. Tim Waltz particular is going to go all in as the topic is no longer him or the scandals in the state and even better for the left the President’s success in Venezuela and vs Russia and the revolt in Iran, all of them stories they do NOT want to cover, can be pushed to the back burner. Reality doesn’t matter to these people, just the narrative and now they have their narrative and they’ll push it through as many news cycles as they can, oh and don’t think for one moment that those involved in the fraud will use this distraction caused by this to destroy records etc that will hurt their cause.
  5. Finally Consider this from a non-political angle. You’re a woman with young children, what the HELL are you doing harassing federal agent during the day and taking this kind of risk? What kind of example are you setting? With your spouse filming are you really more interested in getting a viral moment than being a mother to your children? What parent sets this kind of example, and if she was pressured by her spouse what parent doesn’t resist such pressure for the sake of her kids? It reminds me of the transgender craze where mothers are spaying their own kids for status. It’s bad parenting, it’s narcissism and her kids are going to pay the price for the rest of their lives.
