Lots of speculation and shock. She’s resigning to run for president, She’s resigning because of scandal, she is resigning because she can’t take it, etc etc etc etc.

I gotta tell you, I have absolutely No idea what the actual story is…

…and no matter what anyone else says neither does anyone else.

If I had to guess I’d take her at her word, and there is almost no other candidate that I would say that about.

Hounds, You’re using HOUNDS?!

I had put this as a secondary bit in my last post but the more I think about it the more the idiocy sinks in.

Does the GOP really think that an ad that features HOUNDS chasing after the first black president’s policies is a smart ad? Hounds! Doesn’t anyone read or remember history around here? Do you have any idea what the MSM is going to do with this ad?

Of course these are the same guys who wanted to dump Toomy who are backing up Reichert and other who backed Cap and Trade?

Yeah, and people are worried about Sarah Palin being the image of the party?

Can’t anyone play this game?

Update: Maybe I’m paranoid but I see this going Trent Lott/Strom Thurmond at the begining of next week. It’s a gift to the democratic party, they don’t have to answer the substance of the ad, they can point to Republicans and hounds and symbolism and it will be all over the MSM.

Update 2: A friend just pointed out that Michael Steele is going to be asked about this ad. Do you want to be Steele answering that question?

Update 3: The Palin Resignation effectively makes this a non-story

This time it comes from Karl Rove

Pair this with the famous Heritage chart and that’s gotta leave a mark.

“Nast”tness refers to cartoonist Thomas Nast details here.

I agree with Hotair that these charts are better than the GOP commercial and can someone tell me who’s bright idea it was to feature hounds in pursuit of Obama jobs? Am I the only one who notices the symbolism in this ad might not be the smartest when used concerning the policies of the first black president?

Can’t anyone play this game?
